Myself and my partner stayed here for one night in the Bamboo hut and it was such a lovely experience. The hosts was very friendly and accommodating - meeting all our needs, checking that we were OK, helped us out with our transport, laundry and food! The bamboo hut was also surprisingly very comfortable and we had such a good... More

We were here with the whole familie (10 people) for 3 days. We had the 2 big houses for 8 and 4 guests. Nice house, good Thai food and helpful french en Thai owners. They arranged all kind nice trips for us. They advised us to go to Erawan Waterfalls at 8.00 so nobody is there. They were right.

Our family group of 4 adults stayed 3 nights in a family unit with wonderful verandah living area. Beautiful peaceful setting that was an excellent counterpoint to Bangkok. Yves and Deng were superb hosts, who made us feel very much at home. Deng cooked us a great dinner one night and we also ate at restaurants on both sides of... More

We stayed for 3 nights and after Bangkok this was exactly what we needed; off the beaten track, with a very beautiful garden. There are hammocks which are perfect to read in the early evening before dinner. Yves and Deng are very kind and helpful and Dengs cooking must be tried! Yves took us down to the river in the... Deng and Yves are the wonderful hosts at this cheap but amazing guesthouse. Both take care to create a very personal experience and as a guest you benefit from Yves's readiness to provide you with insight and tips into the surrounding area and other parts of South East Asia and Deng cooks up the most delicious dishes you can imagine.... We stayed at Yves and Deng's guesthouse with our 3 children, after 2 nights in the center of Kanchanaburi. The location in Nong bua (few km from town) is very interesting and gives you a chance to see other things than classic tourist attractions in Kanchanburi, like the village market, street food restaurant in front of the river (trust Yves... So I tried writing this review three times. I guess I will just have to accept it wont do this jewel of a guesthouse much justice. We came here as part of a group tour though Thailand. Yves and Deng were the best hosts we could wish for. Without being intrusive, they offered new and wonderful ideas for our trip... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in the bamboo hut and it has honestly been the best place we've stayed at during our trip throughout Thailand! The location is great, very close to nature, river Kwai, local restaurants and 5 min walk to the bus stop to Kanchanaburi which takes about 15 mins (15baht each way). The hosts Deng and... More
