Detailed Reviews
We really liked the welcoming staff and peaceful atmosphere at this hotel. Rest...hotel is a fitting name. What we didn’t expect was for the beach to be of little attractiveness. It did not tempt us into a swim, which the beach further south in Hua Hin did better.
The pool area is nice and had toys for kids to play with. Staff is very attentive and positive. Food at the restaurant and pool bar was good. Had a fish dinner our first night which we felt overpriced some of the seafood (pay per weight menu), but orher than that the menu pricing was ok and as expected in a hotel in Hua Hin.
We travelled with a <1 year old boy and the hotel was a good place for him.
We were a bit disappointed that there was no shops, massages, restaurants in the nearby area. It’s quite remote. Be prepares to take a taxi to the city centre if you want to experience some buzz or variety to the hotel environment. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to the city centre, but given that it only has 3 departures per day you’re most likely going to need to book a taxi yourself to fit tour schedule. Price to city centre with a taxi was 150-200 Baht.
Breakfast was good, covering most needs, although not an excessive variety (which we did not expect neither).

The staff have been friendly , The food choices in the restaurant are considerable from Asian, pizzas, Burgers and salads. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony. There is a free shuttle service at certain times to get to the town centre,

Huge problem with mosquitos , in rooms & the grounds. I was ill from the hundreds of bites, for the last 4 days, unable to eat food and missed 4 breakfasts.( Shame because they were excellent)
Room was expensive with large balcony/patio/jacuzzi - in the 30c sun it had no shade at all until after 13.00. . Sunbeds around pool very uncomfortable.
i had planned to eat there most nights, but with sky high beer and wine prices made it impossible, so went to town all except 1 night.
No UK channels on the TV
Could only log in to unsecured WiFi.
The Staff were excellent - as most places in Thailand.
Management do not have a clue about running a hotel.
They gained 4 breakfasts and offered me a free meal in return. (which i was too ill to eat)
I doubt they will compensate me.

We have really enjoyed our stay, I would have no issue returning. We stayed in a pool village room I would say request a room on the even side if you like the sun, as the odd side is in the shade, room 512 we stayed in. All the staff are amazing and really make the hotel, they always have a smile on their faces and are really helpful. Breakfast plenty of good choices we did not really eat lunch or dinner in the hotel as the street food is amazing.
Hotel is 10 mins out from the main area, hotel runs a shuttle bus, which you book at reception, if you want to stay out a bit later it will cost 200 Byatt from the clock tower and 220 from the market village.
Highly recommend this hotel

We’ve stayed at Rest Detail half a dozen times over the past year. It continues to impress us with its quality of service. The longer you stay there, the modest first impressions are overtaken by the high quality in all respects, whether F&B, staff service, great location etc.

Quiet place in the North of Hua Hin offering all the comfort you expect of a hotel in this category.
You will find well equipped and big rooms with balcony, many choices at breakfast and friendly, supportive staff. The highlight is the pool next to the sea - unfortunately there is no real sand beach but stairs to the sea only.
The location is just a little outside Hua Hin which makes it a quiet relaxing place.

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel and were looking for a hotel which was more intimate, not too large and overbearing with a Thai sense of culture .
We were not disappointed. We arrived and were offered welcome drinks and a very smooth check in service by the lovely Pong . We decided to upgrade our room to sea view with jacuzzi and this was done very discreetly.
The hotel has a very calm relaxing atmosphere and we enjoyed the pool area and direct access to the beach . The view from our room was amazing and the room was equipped with all amenities and the shower was magnificent. Every day we had a little Thai sweet treat left for us . My sports shoes were cleaned complimentary and were cleaner than I managed to get them .
Breakfast service is amazing with hot and cold food and delicious pastries . A drinks bar offers blended drinks.
The hotel offers a shuttle service to the Clocktower and the night market area where we went to eat and have fun . This was a ten minute drive. The Wiifi was overall fine , although it dropped at times , but still better than our 5star hotel in Bangkok.
Friendly, discerning service in a beautiful relaxing environment. We loved it !

We’ve been there only one night with pool village, all staffs and their services very fantastic. Our room was clean and comfortable. Pool village is not the main pool, only pool village guests can access this pool. Many choices of breakfast such as Thai food, bread, and salad.

The hotel is around 8km from cicada market and around 5km from town center (5-10 mins by car). There is a new attraction (shops & restuatants), Seen Space, nearby the hotel (5 mins walk).
I am not sure if the hotel has shuttle service to town. They may have this service especially on weekend. We had our car during our last visit so we didn't have any problem with the distance.
I would assume they do have adjoining rooms although I can’t confirm this 100%.
There is a shuttle bus service from the hotel but it doesn't operate all the time. It goes about 2/3 times in the morning and again in the afternoon. The bus drops off at The Clock Tower and one other place. The last time the bus goes to the Clock Tower is about 6.45 pm/7.00 pm but the taxis/tuk-taks are very reasonable.
depends on what average do you think, compare to the average to USA or Canada, it is cheap, but compare to Thai, it is kind of above standard.
