Looking for a hotel to unwind for a few days after backpacking around Asia, we chose to stay here because of the good service reviews. The staff exceeded our expectations with prompt and smiling service from morning until night. We had plans to go out and sight see a bit, but succumbed to the shady loungers of the pool and recharged while preparing for our next leg of backpacking. The ladies at the front desk were so pleasant that we didn't feel inclined to leave for meals, and they went out of their way to make us special dishes upon request. We had the opportunity to meet the owners, and they were very friendly. At breakfast they even let me sample some dishes that weren't on the menu. The front desk staff were even able to arrange a couple of things like shuttles and in room massages with very little notice. Upon departure, it felt like leaving after a family visit, with photos and hugs and being waved off as we drove off. I will most certainly return because no matter how modern or well located a hotel is, the service is the most important element.

This was our third trip to the Prinz, this time for a month. You cannot beat the staff, with Ni the manager ensuring everyone is well taken care of and interacting with each one of the guests. In the breakfast room Pla and Reenes look after guests and offer helpful suggestions. Pla even took the trouble to find out the names of the trees in the pool area when we enquired (they were betel nut trees). The housekeeping staff is quick and efficient, the rooms and balcony are large, and the pool area is a lovely place to relax and enjoy Thai hospitality. The beach is nearby as is the Bluport mall which has a good food court with varied menus. Catching a songthaew (bus) outside allows you to reach the downtown for variety. This is a popular spot for a relaxing and extended stay.

Pros : Nice swimming pool, restaurant. They even have a library. Staff is some of the friendliest I have met. Near Bluport Mall. Near songthaew route but hotel can also call taxi for you. Room even has DVD player. Cons:No lift. We had to walk up the stairs every day. Also the master bedroom is not attached to bathroom. The grounds have the occasional mosquito so best to close windows at night.

This hotel is located down a small lane off a busy four lane main road which is hard to cross due to the traffic. The beach is a 10 minute walk in the heat. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are big but the whole place is painted pink, there are no lifts and it needs updating. The staff are excellent and provided great service, they could not be faulted. Breakfast was adequate with the usual juice, cereal, fruit, choice of eggs and pancakes etc.The price was reasonable but if I return to Hua Hin I will stay closer to the main part of the city and the beach.

We stayed here for a few nights after a long flight and taxi ride from Bangkok with our 1 year old. The ladies running the place are lovely, helpful and very accommodating. They had prepared a baby bed and made adorable elephant towels. The food was fresh and yummy and the staff was always there for questions, extra towels etc. The pool is nice, not too cold and not busy. We booked 2 massages that we had near the pool, but they can come to the room too. The hotel is right next to an amazing mall with shops like H&M, big supermarket and Uniqlo, but also cute Thai shops and great food on the lower level. The room itself is a bit run down, but very very clean so it didn't bother us. There were different "tools" for mosquitoes, but with the airconditioning we didn't need it. In short, all was lovely and we were happy campers! Our little one included :) Thanks for the baby-cuddles!
