The thai government just canceled the required PCR-tests beginning at May, 1st. Unfortunately we have had already booked the full program in advance. After arriving at the Thipurai they sent us a fast refund for those PCR- tests. I am very satisfied with this service. J. Breuer, Germany

I booked the 5th day test and go in this hotel. In the confirmation letter, it says clearly the package includes a 1 standard room(1 Adult) accommodation and RT-PCR test at Bangkok -Hua Hin Hospital. By my understanding, as RT-PCR test is included, all steps to finish the test must be included. It is hotel’s duty to schedule the test, pay the bill, send me to take the test, and release test result. This is common sense, should not be misunderstood. In my 1st day test, the hotel in Bangkok did exactly the same thing without any problem. It is totally a different story in Thipurai city hotel. My nightmare starts. In order to get the result early, I checked in yesterday at 1:30pm. The first question I was asked is “did you finish Covid test?”. I was absolutely confused. The purpose I came here is to take this test. How could I finish it by myself? The manager explained: by their definition, I have to go to hospital by myself. The package does not include transportation to the hospital. My point is to take test at hospital in one step to finish the test. As the test is included in the package, it definitely needs to include transportation to the hospital. He does not have right to define what RT-PCR test should include. Does my understanding has any problem? Any normal person should take it in this way. Otherwise, it is not a complete package. Let me take one step back, suppose the hotel has right to define the package. Transportation is not included. At least, they should tell me when we were signing the contract. As a customer, I have right to know all details at the time I pay for a service. If I have to go hospital by myself, they also need to provide hospital address, and explain the procedure to take the test. This is their duty. I did not get any information at all. As I foreigner, how do I know I should do it alone and finish it without instruction? Finally, I was told that they could help to call a taxi. The taxi came very fast, the driver knows all procedures. It is clear that he did this business many times. From Google map, the distance between the hotel and the hospital is 1.8km. I was charged 300 Baht. At this time, I understand why the manager hides the details about the he defined package when he contacted me before. Actually he emailed me several times. My wife even called him yesterday morning. He never said a word about this issue. 300 Baht is a small amount of money. It is really not worth to do so ugly. My story is not finished. Besides hiding important details, the manager is also tell lies. This is the thing I cannot tolerance and have to point out. When I asked him why did not tell me it is my duty to go to hospital beforehand, he spoke firmly several times that he provided this information to my wife. So it is her fault not to pass it to me. My wife is a Thai. They do not have any problem to communicate. My wife deny that she was informed. So she confronts with Kowit, the hotel manager on phone, asking when she told her this. Kowit could not answer, just keep saying that “all persons have to go to hospital by themselves, this is hotel rule”. Kowit, please answer this question directly, otherwise, YOU ARE A LIAR! The lessons I learned: DON’T STAY HERE. If you have to, be careful to communicate with this person and clarify all details.

Very basic hotel. Very poor breakfast. Staff helpful . Room average. Location is good as it is only a short stroll to the beach. They provide beach towels to bring with you to the beach. Night market is about 25 minutes walk.

This is a budget hotel, so the standard is average. Rooms looks a bit old and not very fancy, but come with aircondition. There is no safe in the hotel, but you can deposit your valuables at the fonrt desk. The hotel's location is briliant. It is practicaly in the middle of the tourist part of the city. Just few steps and you are at the beach, walking street, restaurants etc. Be aware that there might be some noise in the nigths. They have a delicious breakfast and what I liked is the laidback mood. No stress, here you are for relaxing. The staff is very firendly and service minded. That is the reason why I rate the hotel with 4 instead of 3. The pricing is reasonable and I have no hesitation to recommend this hotel if you want to live in the middle of the city and don't mind some noise in the nights.

I was only staying one night in Hua Hin and got there late so I didn't really care too much about staying at a large brand name hotel. One of my friend's recommended this hotel which is in the center of town, close to great restaurants, pubs/bars, etc. As I was drinking this hotel was very good, so I didn't have to drive anywhere and could walk easily from venue to venue. The location for me was perfect. The service was good. Check-in was easy and fast. The woman at the front desk had very good Enlish which made this process very quick. Not sure about the breakfast menu as I check-out before they started serving (only there for 7 hours). The rooms were basic and clean.... but fine for the money (less than 1,000 Baht a night)... bathroom with the amenities, lots of towels, very old tv, very small balcony, air con... good for a night or two but only if you weren't hanging around in your room.

This hotel is fantastic if travelling on a budget. The reception staff were great and was always met with a smile. The room was basic but it was spotlessly clean and even though the hotel is really close to main Bintabaht walking street I never heard any noise. The pool was great, lovely and warm and the staff were happy to bring refreshments from the bar. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was good but it could have been colder. The bathroom was clean, with a good selection of toiletries. The shower was great. The best thing about this hotel is its location, its really close to the bars and restaurants, there is a great restaurant just over the road and a convenient taxi company directly opposite the front door.
