Our family with 2 kids wanted to try a new hotel connected to the beach. It was a great choice. We chose the Pool-Access room, which were renovated last year. There are only 10 rooms of this type. The room is connected to the spiral pool that runs around the hotel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very modern with separate areas for shower and bathtub. The room even had a small sofa bed. The hotel has numerous pools, including a baby pool and kids pool. The big spiral pool is 1.5 meters deep. One of the hotel’s highlight is the slider in the shape of a large snake. The minimum height for kids to take the slider is 1.2 meters. The hotel has lots of green areas. There is also a fish-feeding area. The hotel is connected to the beach with a wide seashore. The kids enjoyed catching the small crabs in the puddle. The hotel has an outdoor tennis court, half basketball court, an archery shooting target, outdoor large chess pieces, trampoline, table tennis, and a kids play room. The breakfast has great varieties similar to other Hyatt hotels. During this Covid-19 situation, all guests must wear a mask upon entering the dining area. The only exception is while eating at their tables. The service was great. Staffs were pleasant. There was also a golf buggy service to and from the lobby to the parking lots. Cicada Market (for handicraft shopping) and Tamarind Market (for eating) are within walking distances. Cicada Market opens on Fridays to Sundays, while Tamarind Market opens from Thursdays to Sundays. What more can you ask for? Everything was fabulous. Would definitely return.…
Beautiful Barai Suite, delightful Executive Lounge, beautiful property. The environment is beautiful and the pool so amazing. The recent renovations have taken the property up another notch. This will be our regular escape every year!
Another great stay at the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, all the facilities are open post-COVID, the hotel pays great attention to safety but in a pleasant, non-intrusive way which leaves everyone feeling they are in a safe heaven, if there is any such thing. Many many thanks to the wonderful staff of the Barai, Regency Club lounge, reception, pool, gym and the always smiling housekeeping. Too many names of people who took great care of us, a few we remember Khun Supawan, Shalalai, Joob, Game, Tom, Ked, View, Boy, Pakbung, Aet come to mind all of course under the magnificent management of Khun Christian. Looking forward to our next stay in paradise!
We live in Bangkok and so when we come to Hua Hin we usually stay at the Centara Grand. They have not opened yet and so we tried the Hyatt. A good stay, rooms comfortable and smartly done. Food good. Pool nice and the little area that is close to the beach really nice. Service good and the Cicada and Tamarind night markets close by are worth a look. Pretty good, but not quite a good as the Centara despite being more expensive???
Just went there in late June. The hotel re-opened after closing few months due to COVID-19. The room was renovated late last year and we really love it. The room is comfy we love large balcony. This resort is one of my favorite place for years. Staff are nice even though now seem to be understaff. Breakfast was nice but we feel that the selection is lesser than the period before COVID-19. All and all, it was a nice getaway with the family.
