It is impossible not to fall in love with this place...! We arrived late from Bangkok and had a nice welcome from the hotel staff at the reception. Everything was perfect: from the room, the breakfast (best I ever had in Thailand), the swimming pool to the beach. If you’re a yogi they even have a yoga class in the morning! The hotel is so peaceful and the hotel staff was lovely, smiling and helpful. I special thank you to the hotel guest relations manager Mr. Jan Hottiger who made our stay a wonderful weekend gateway from Bangkok! I will definitely recommend Cape Nidhra to my friends and family. Looking forward to come back one day!
Absolutely loved it. Had the room with the pool on the balcony, bath tub and seperate shower and thoroughly enjoyed it all it was hard to leave the room. Food was the bomb! And the pool and beach view was gorgeous even in rainy season it was breathtaking. Service and humility of the people is gorgeous — Would highly recommend staying here if you want the less busy side of Thailand...
I've been to many hotels but never felt as well-treated as here. The whole hotel is spotless, the breakfast is amazing, the main pool's setting is so special you'd never want to leave. The beach access is also very appreciated. The rooms are huge, with a cosy private pool and outstanding design and bathroom. The staff is friendly and extremely professional. The Manager, Jan, made our stay very special by making sure we (and I am sure, everyone else) had everything we needed at all times. He gave our group useful recommendations about where to go in Hua Hin in a fluent French and German. I will come back and recommend this hotel to all my friends back home.
The hotel is effectively a “cheese wedge” between the road and the very impressive beach. This means the initial impression is rather cramped but both the check in and room tour were very smooth indeed. Great first drink and nibbles. The Sky Pool suites are very roomy with a big private plunge pool. The rooms on the first floor do not have great views but they are largely quiet. So here we go, many plusses and a few minuses- Plus 1. The bathroom is huge with a free standing bath and twin sinks. Everything you need is on hand 2. The balcony is also quite large with a splendid private plunge pool 3. Staff are trained to always speak and even have someone to help you get across the busy road outside 4. Access to a quiet white sand beach 5. Sufficient sun beds for all and a…
First of all, I should explain we are staying here at the Cape Nhidra Hotel and I would normally wait until I return home before writing a review but thought now was a more appropriate time. Despite the heading of my review let me assure you this is one the best run hotels we have ever been to. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by security, through the reception process and the private tour of your room and it’s facilities, the whole look and feel of your surroundings exude professionalism, attention to detail and a real desire from all who work here to make your stay the best it could possibly be. The rooms are more then generous in size with great facilities; they are clean and fresh and comfortable and are kept so by excellent housekeeping. You also have an…
Everything about this hotel was perfect! Stunning hotel, perfect beach location. Nicest staff we have ever met. We did the cooking class which was great fun. Cant thank you enough for making our honeymoon so perfect. I cried when we had to leave - it was just so wonderful.
Had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights last month and had a wonderful time at this property. Pros: 1. Huge and comfortable room with a large terrace and private outdoor mini pool. 2. Very friendly staff who were keen to help. 3. Must visit the small roof top bar as it was very comfortable and relaxing. 4. Very nice spa and massage, although pricey compared to those outside. Cons: 1. Breakfast quality and options were limited for a true 5 star hotel. 2. Most rooms face the plot or building next door without sea views. 3. Pool is nice but I wish there's quiet hours and basic usage rules the hotel would enforce. We had a group teenagers who took over the pool and were splashing, screaming and jumping for hours. Did not respect the rest of the guests who were quietly…
We first visited Nidhra for our 25th wedding anniversary 5 years ago and immediately fell in love with the place and its staff. So marking our 30th was the perfect excuse to return. It was like stepping into a comfy pair of slippers, immediately at ease and relaxed. One small change (a new enclosed rooftop bar) but the quality is still exceptional. When it rains your balcony is a perfect spot to watch the deluge and when the sun shines the garden trees provide additional shade. Breakfast is amazing. Look forward to coming back.

The resort is simply beautiful, the walk through the gardens to the pool and beach is heaven especially at night. Our room was very spacious, bed extremely comfortable and with an impressive bathroom. Having a pool on the balcony was wonderful as we used it even after a late night out and we had a lovely view of Hua Hin. The staff were all very friendly especially Jan he was always happy to assist with any queries. Breakfast was very enjoyable, a great variety to choose from and very tasty. Location is perfect as it’s walking distance (10 -15mins) to nightlife and shopping malls. Tuk tuks & taxis readily available for 150 Bhat. We will definitely stay here next time we holiday in Hua Hin.
