All in all a nice experience, although a little bit more thought in the hotel would raise its standard very quickly. Most of the young staff do not speak any English but, are very lovely and help where they can. One of them, who's name is like ' apple ' is extremely helpful and charming. She is so keen to learn what western people like, such as cold milk for tea and hot milk for coffee. We were due to travel on but decided to stay longer but another girl on the desk, quoted us a higher price than we had paid. We booked down the road at the Isanook, a brand new hotel. As opposed to the Koccira, it has tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Chairs and a table, on our balcony and some English TV. We liked the Koccira but it needs a bit of thought. Perhaps Apple could sort it out, if given the chance.…
This is supposed to be a new hotel , first thing the staff do not speak any English except apple I think she is the owner and she is not around often , but she is lovely, but the rest of the staff speaks no English, so very frustrating, the breakfast is terrible we ordered there omelette the first day it was not cooked, ok we thought things happen, so we ordered it again same thing , so we ended ordered fry eggs , they give you 3 slices of baggaite, and lettuce, there is no fruit , the coffee is very strong so add hot water , there is no juice , and no milk for coffee, you have to ask for this , the rooms are large but the beds are very hard , and they did put a mattress pad for us , but the pillows are hard as well , the ac works well , but the tv has only thiland station on it no English stations, the wifi works well , there is mosquitos in the room , we asked for them to spray , which they did , but it should be sprayed everyday , there is no hand soap , for hands , and the outside sitting is on hard stools, the pool area has some sitting and we never had a problem finding beach chairs , there is no restaurant in the hotel except cakes , would have been nice to order food , overall this hotel needs improvement when dealing with westerners, I would not stay again , but if you are looking for a cheap hotel, this might be your ticket , but just remember, not western standards , …
A relax, friendly and fun baking class for kids and adults. We were here with 3 kids and 7 adults and had a great memorable family get together time and 3 lb of cakes home. :) The baking class can be leaded in Thai and English in relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!
