A friend and her young daughter and I stayed here in October 2008 for 3 nights on a week long visit to Thailand from where we live in Oman. We stayed in a gorgeous villa, on the ground floor, which had 2 huge bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. My friend and her daughter had the first room and I had the massive twin and equally massive, lovely bathroom. In short, I loved it! The decor in the rooms is all white with hints of silver and navy blue - very calming - and loads of natural light flooding though the floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls. I haven’t fallen for a hotel room before, but this was a real winner and I think it's because it wasn't ordinary and boring. Perhaps the most impressive thing was how clean and beautifully kept the rooms were, and the gardens too which we strolled

A group of 17 of us stayed at Baanlaksasubha in Oct 2008 and I cannot recommend this place enough! its small, with a lot of character, spotlessly clean ang very friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. Other pluses are: great outdoor restaurant with good food, good beach access and great location right next to the sofitel and walking distance from the centre of town. luxury with class is how i would sum this place up. the villas are big, airy and very tastefully done, and the whole experience was one of understated class.

We spent 11 nights here and enjoyed every monent of it, we had a 2 bedroom garden villa as we were travelling with a 7 and 16 year old and they had their own bedroom, bathroom and terrace (although we could get to it from our room), the appartments were spotless, I simply can not recall staying anywhere this clean or anywhere where the owner and staff cared so much. Having breakfast on the beach everyday was a real plus point and everyone's dream idea of Thailand I think. You could also have lunch and Dinner there, with a choice of Thai and European food the kids never went without. The pool was not very big but the with the sea a short walk through the villas you couldn't ask for more, just please watch for the jellyfish as my 7yr old son was very badly stung, the hotel staff

My husband and I and four adult children celebrated our 40th anniversary in June 2008 in Thailand. Our first stop was at Baan Laksasubha in Hua Hin. It could not have been a better choice. It is a beautiful beachside resort. The villas were lovely, airy and spotless. The staff was very gracious and always ready to be of assistance. Every morning we ate at their outdoor restaurant on the beach for breakfast. Our children surprised us with a beautifully planned anniversary dinner at the restaurant while the resort staff decorated our room with flowers. While we would try to offer a balanced account of pluses and minuses, it would be difficult to think of anything that was not positive in our 4 days at Baan Laksasubha . Note: even if you do not stay at Baan Laksasubha, the

The Baan Laksasubha has been designed with great care. Superb attention to details and very comfortable suites and villas. The gardens, pool area etc are well kept and the staff have been well trained! The best things about Laksasuba are the 'huge' size of the rooms, relaxing style design and the location. Just a stroll past the Sofitel to the very center of town. This is not a large 'busy' resort hotel, more a place of tranquility to stay in lovely designed accommodation, at the beach, close to town. rates very reasonable for what you get.
