This is my 3rd time stayed at Dhevan dara. the first 2 times was amazing. This time i came back for the birthday celebrations requested for vanilla birthday cake. Have sent e mails like 2 times to make sure cause we doesnt like chocolate. what we got was chocolate cake covered in and out and once i called to the reception asked why i got this cake she asked me back "is inside is chocolate flavor?" I really have no word to say. then they sent a very tiny vanilla cake to the room. it was too late already cause i wanted it to be surprise. The private pool which used to be amazing, now too much chlorine we cant even have a good time there anymore. me and my partner's body full of red dot every where on our body. upon check out no one says anything to us. this place used to be our favorite place in huahin but now i wont go back there anymore.

I would not say this us a bad hotel. The staff is not superb but reasonably friendly. However, the resort needs an absolute renovation for the rooms and facilities. Everything is getting worn. Breakfast is good and for the 3 nights stay, they have changed some of the breakfast items which I personally think is a good idea. I dun think I will stay again as there are much more to offer out there.

Just came back from Huahin trip from 21-23 March 2019. We checked in this hotel, at Orchid 9 villa. Air-conditioners were out of order. Dirty staff came in to fix without any improvement. Overall facilities were in terrible condition. The worst in my opinion is lack of service mind among their staff ftom manager, front desk, and other workers. We decided to change our hotel in the evening. Marriot Hua hin is so much better than this. Please do not destroy you trip by chooding this hotel... Definitely not recommended...

Stayed there with Family for two nights, three days long weekend. We booked a two Bedroom Pool Villa. The villa and property was spacious. However the property and rooms appeared to be very much aged and lacked maintenance. From loose power sockets, to hard to operate curtains and doors everything appeared to be neglected. Hedges were not trimmed, The outside shower was unusable as it was completely overgrown with weeds. Amazingly they provide a 4 plate electric stove, but no pots or pans... Mini bar is available upon request, but quite limited in choice. Restaurant prices are high. The private pool was nice, so was the sala. It would benefit from a few extra pillows. Bath linen was old and frayed. Light switches are confusing, I think we had about 20 in one of the bedrooms, that also operated the lights in outdoor area. The complimentary shuttle service to town was very welcome. With private car you have to drive ca. 20 minutes to Hua Hin. We would likely not book this resort again. It does not longer live up to past greatness. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good on the Saturday. On Sunday it was ravished and not refilled when we arrived. They were out of almost all things I liked the day before, Bacon, Ham, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit yogurt etc. Big Plus for European Dark Bread! It was unexpected!

I have to say that I got this resort as a complimentary for one night and I thought that it’s might be a good time for weekend. It’s turn to be a nightmare. The resort is about 20-30 minus drive to Hua Hin center. The road is quite dangerous at night for who not familiar with this route. Check-in process was nice & fast. Staffs at the reception are nice. Parking in front of villa is convenience. I walk-in and check around the villa. It’s all fine for me big bed, nice pool. Before I went out for dinner we heard some noise of mice from a cabinet under sofa. I immediately call reception to take care of it. Housekeeping came and told me that they will clean the room again then I left for dinner. That night I slept with the noise of mice running around the roof hope that it will not fall down to my bed. I kind of understand that if you stay in a place that close to nature likes this it could happen sometime. I can see that this resort tried to keep maintenance the whole area as much as they could. But mostly everything needs to be upgrade. Breakfast time, I know that they have group meeting so the restaurant must be crowded so I went a little bit late around 9.30.Staffs are not trained to greeting guests. Foods are ok but not variety. Some Staffs and chef are not friendly at all. Especially staffs at the food station outside. Staffs are not well trained to serve or to speak to guests such as (if you want anything please put it on your table now) As I can see they must hire a casual staffs (students) to help them run the restaurant and function during weekend. I feel sorry for manager of the restaurant because I think he look nice and friendly. Overall I feel hopefully that I stay only 2 nights(comp.1 night pay 1 night). This is more than enough bad experience for me with resort style. I used to stay at Veranda Resort and Spa Hua Hin the standard totally different.

I have stayed at this peaceful resort in Gui Buri. The room is large and good for 3 persons if you will travel with friends or family. Wifi is fast. Restsurant has good breakfast but not the best. Location is isolate if you want peaceful! It is near by fresh seafood restaurant, where I like the local food at average price, not too expensive.

Firstly I have to say that I didn't select this hotel but my partner did and I have stay in many 4-5 star hotels in Hua-Hin for manytimes, here is my feedback to Dhevan Dhara Resort; Pros 1. The resort is located away from Hua-Hin city which provide the privacy, good for holiday escape. 2. We stay in private villa which have front yard and own private area. 3. Most of the staffs seem to have well product knowledges, perhaps because they work here long enough. 4. Resort style is full of natural and the furnitures are piece of woods 5. Each villa have own parking space 6. Love the idea of food stalls outside restaurant during breakfast Cons 1. TV old model like 20 years ago, similar size as a fridge 2. Bathtub doesn't fit the bathroom, it is too big and sitting in the middle of bathroom which waste of bathroom space 3. Hairdryer is too small, only 1000 W. It took ages to dry your long hair 4. A/C took long long time to boost up the cool in the room 5. Wifi only can connect for 2 devices 6. Nothing to support the up to date technology, no USB hub to charge the phone like other hotels have 7. No light in closet at all! 8. Bath towels are worn out 9. Wifi doesn't work! 10. Most of the food from breakfast werecold, no cover 11. Staffs at restaurant look sloppy, like they were there to chat among themselves rather than service the guest. In fact no service at all, they just came to clear the dishes and that's it 12. I can see some of the mid management/management level walk around the restaurant casually, had their own drinks or meal while restaurant still busy with operation. Not cool! 13. Most of the food were salty Seriously this hotel need a big upgrade, maintainece. I can feel that the way of management never been change for years. Thanks god that we only book for 1 night. If you are considering this resort for your holiday, just read through my comment before you make any decision. I based on my hotel experience during my lifetime journey.

Even it is raining season, the private pool and villa is the best thing ever! The room is big, private, and comfy except the bed is really terrible and old! It is very hard with spring sound and make all of us have difficult time to sleep (including my baby). Beside our bad bed, the bathroom indoor and outdoor are excellent to relax! The main swimming pool seems to be nice but we don't have a chance to use it. Breakfast is a bit disappointed especially for westerners. Staffs are friendly but you need to have a car to stay here!

We had a 2 bedroom pool villa, huge space - nice pool with jaccuzi and mini waterfall. There's also a small pool house for spa sessions. There is a huge living room with dining table with microwave, sink and fridge. There is also a electric stove but no pots and pans. There is 2 bathrooms with tub, jaccuzi function, rain shower and separate shower as well. It's very spacious - the out has a dining table with fans, sink and mini counter bar, it's really lovely. The one bedroom is also nearby and in it's own house with living room and day bed. IT's a great place and very spacious. The breakfast is quite adequate - stick rice, bbq pork sticks, omelet and egg station - various buffet dishes, bacon, ham, soups, noodle and congee. There is cereals and alot of breads and jams to choose from.. Decent breakfast overall. Service is great here, some of the breakfast staff are a bit grumpy but overall everthing is good. Really enjoyed it. The bad part is that it's not near the beach which is why they try so hard to offer other things to ppl staying here. Last minute deal prices are cheap!
