nothing special at all. staff were rude. location is good. rooms we're spacious. wifi was ok. rooms have had no maintenance and could use a good cleaning. are room seemed to be falling apart and was starting to grow mould in the shower. the shower is not thought out well with the curtain inside the glass. nightclub somewhere that thankfully shuts down at. midnight otherwise the thumping base would not lead to a good night sleep. better places with better value to stay

+1
S Hadyai Hotel is a newly opened hotel in Apr 17. The property is aesthetically furnished with an urban industrial theme, with its entire premise and rooms designed in a sleek dark modern tone.
Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the hotel staff and ushered to the reception for my check in registration. A welcome drink and cake snack were also offered, which I had consumed at the Soul Bar near the pool area. Upon completion of my check in, the hotel staff accompanied and showed me up to my Standard Room (Room No. S705) on level 7. Whilst the room is spacious at 25 square metres, the showering area in the bathroom is a little small.
The bed is a firm type and I felt comfortable sleeping under its soft luxurious sheets.
I would say the showering experience was rather average because the shower head spray angle could not be adjusted to my preference and the hot shower temperature was erratic. I had also preferred not to use the rain shower, given that the water pressure was rather weak. Toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo were provided, with the exception of the dental kit. The toilet paper was a little flimsy to my liking. During my three nights stay, the Housekeeping Staff had replaced the hand soap on a daily basis. I thought it was a waste to dispose it as they could have just kept it there for my usage till the end of my stay.
The Wi-Fi connectivity was not very good as it kept losing its connectivity during the first two days of my stay. Perhaps this was attributed to a high guest usage during the weekend? Fortunately, my Wi-Fi usage experience improved during the next two days.
There are no USB charging points, though the room is equipped with sufficient electrical sockets. As I had forgotten to bring my travel adaptor, I had bought one from the reception desk at THB50.
The Cable TV channels offered are pretty comprehensive, which includes Warner TV, MTV Live, Fashion TV, Arirang, Channel News Asia, Al Jazeera, France 24, Travel Channel, Golf Channel, Astro Supersport 4, Skynet Sports 2, Celestial Classic, CCTV 4, Xing Kong, Dragon TV and Hunan TV.
I was delighted to find a huge fitness centre comprising of two levels. There is even a separate male and female sauna as well as an outdoor pool. These facilities are available for guest use from 0700hrs to 2100hrs daily.
While S Hadyai Hotel is not centrally located in the Lee Gardens area, a central tourist hub, it is within walking distance at 1.1km away. As the Lee Gardens vicinity is a lively area with lots of noise from the traffic and pedestrians, I would thus consider the hotel’s quiet location as one of its selling points. At all times, there is a staff manning the hotel entrance and hence the security presence.
For your information, if you are arriving by coach, the coach companies such as Sri Maju/ Davis Tour are located in the Lee Gardens area. So it is a convenient walk to and from the hotel.
Nearby the hotel, there is a 7-Eleven convenience store (120m), several local eateries and pubs situated along Soi Prachathipat. I had my breakfast (Roasted Pork Rice & Noddles Soup) at two local eateries there and paid an affordable THB50 for each of my meals there. You can also check out two popular restaurants nearby, Chokdee (Dim Sum) and Ching Jie (Pig’s Organ Soup) both of which are located 1.2km away. For money changing services, I was advised by the Front Desk Staff to head to the nearest one situated opposite New Season Hotel, which is a 800m walk away.
The hotel offers complimentary Tuk Tuk services to the following places at these pick up times:
1. Kim Yong Market - 0800hrs, 1000hrs, 1300hrs
2. Greenway Night Market - 1700hrs
3. Lee Gardens Street Market - 1800hrs
Additionally, you can take a Tuk Tuk to the various nearby attractions such as Wat Hat Yai Nai and Hatyai Municipal Park, both of which costs 100THB each for a one way trip. You can request the Front Desk Staff to arrange one for you. After my sightseeing at Wat Hat Yai Nai, I headed out to the main road and took a Tuk Tuk meant for locals to the Kim Yong Market at THB10. For the Hatyai Municipal Park, I had to hike up the hill myself to visit the various places of interests there. Additionally, I made a side trip to Songkla, which is a one hour ride from the hotel and costs THB500 for a one-way trip. Alternatively, you can consider taking Grab which saves the time and convenience of having to haggle the price with the Tuk Tuk drivers.
S Hadyai Hotel offers exceptionally value-for-money accommodation, considering the abundant amenities and facilities it offers. What more could you ask when you are offered services like free hotel shuttle and amenities such as a pool and sauna, complimented with a designer style room? Despite the bathroom and Wi-Fi issues, I would still recommend a stay in this hotel.

This hotel is nice, but the front desk staff are not helpful at all. Although breakfast seems to be well priced, avoid it. The food was terrible.
A better option in the same price range and not too far away would be the newly built Tonaoi Grand Hotel.

I was book Junior Suite for the hotel but once entering , there is white stain on the floor like it never clean , also some black flake around.. Reception and Housekeeping came to see and they agree to move us to a new room which is not really different but a bit better. Just only if I asked for a spare key , but she just said that is the only one keycard of this room for the whole hotel.. Okay Fine!!
The next day , we need to use the room for web-meeting after lunch and ask them to make up room during 2 hours lunch outside .. I told both the reception and press the sign at the room. Once we back to set up the meeting , Room was not clean , It is really a pissed .. that we have to wait downstairs another 20 mins and have to rush back for meeting. I asked the housekeeping that how many person work as housekeeping here , she said only herself. Thats why room is dirty even it is not full. I can see how poor of the hotel's management
And staff there look ignorance a lot ,, never say sorry or even offer us a drink or something , no service mind

One reason I selected this hotel was gym that was advertised. Update: there is no more gym in this place, it’s closed for good. The room has a musty smell and two cockroaches in the bathroom. Carpet in the corridors near to elevators looks like it was vacuum cleaned last time a year ago.

I heard so much about this beautiful hotel in hat yai. It was really very spacious and the rooms were very stylish, the pool was nice with a decent gym over it but one and only thing is ruining all the image of this hotel which is the front desk old lady who looks like Chinese and always seems to be angry about every thing in her life. I have never seen any one so disrespectful like this. She talks very unprofessionally and always very disrespectful to almost all the guests who come to stay in this hotel. I'm wondering why in the world such hotel would hire such stupid staff.
If remove her from this hotel I would have given it a full five stars.

Room and facilities are good. Newly renovated with modern loft design. The front deck staffs are unprofessional, no servicemind at all. She suppose not to work in the hospitality business. My 2 nights stay in a Junior suite room was unpleasant; the first night the air con did not function properly. Second night, the did not refill the shower, shampoo. I won't come back to stay here next time for sure.

Overall we have a pleasent stay throughout. All other staff were great except when we check out the counter staff were very rude. We checkout on 1st Apr 2018 noon. After about 20 mins of waiting time, we asked the counter staff if the checking of the room is done. She rudely and raised her voice saying that there is still another room not checkout yet! How can we not checkout the room where we have already pass her 6 keys for 6 rooms? Not a good experience at the end of the holiday!!!

S HADYAI HOTEL
STAY PERIOD. 16-17/12/2017
Having booked this time through AGODA, I have chosen this hotel because as to ads it’s new modern hotel in the center of Hatyai. The overall outlook of hotel seems good with nice decoration. Rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is not worthwhile to pay, let say it’s just one plate of amrican breakfast and its taste not so good, better no breakfast in hotel. In Hatyai you can easily find local breakfast near hotel, just ask hotel staffs where to find. If travelling in center of Hatyai, you can walk or hire tuk tuk car to have food or shopping at price about Baht 30 or 40.-per head or rent a car for daily use (more convenient). In hotel there is only one small restaurant, not interesting to have food in hotel
Only one thing have to be brought under check-up of language efficiency of frontdesk staffs. My problem is caused by booking form of AGODA. In the form, it shows booking details of my 2-room-booking as
Occupancy. 2. adults
Breakfast. Included
Breakfast for 2. Included
As to the above booking detail, it is supposed to be normal form of detail per one room. If booking 2 rooms in one booking, you will get the same booking details as above. But my case sound so strange and uncommon. In the morning, girl in breakfast room informed me that as to my booking detail I have breakfast only for 1 in each room and another front desk staff also reconfirm and insist for 1-breakfast per room as to their own understanding of english booking form. After having heard so, I decided to have my own breakfast outside hotel. While coming back after breakfast, another new staffs just informed me that what hotel staffs told this morning is not correct, that means i can actually get breakfast for 2 in each room but too late now. So what the staffs can do is to say sorry but what about the booking price that i have paid for room with breakfast but get nothing back. How can it be or what happened in both staffs ‘ thoughts, I dont understand and feel disappointed that staffs at 4-star hotel has low efficiency of english understanding. In this case, hotel staff should think more and pay more attention to each booking details. One normal question based on common sense is that
WHY PEOPLE PAY MORE FOR ROOM WITH BREAKFAST, BUT GET ONLY 1-PERSON-BREAKFAST. IF SO, I PREFER ROOM WITH NO BREAKFAST. It looks unreasonable and should not happen to a 4-star hotel.
As to this case, front desk staffs should be more efficient of english because frontdesk staffs can make good image of hotel or destroy hotel’s fame by communication with guests directly

We booked this hotel because of the photos snd ratings as well as the lack of choice...
Rooms are nice, but need some maintance / touch up here and there.
Staff is very young and trying.
The breakfast and hotel restaurant next door has a "charm" of a university cantine. Bfast is 100% asian targed, westerners will miss proper cerials, choice of bread, variety of jams, Nutella and honey, pan cakes, bacon (pork or beef)...
The hotel bar "SOUL BAR" is not existing, the pool area needs a proper bamboo leaf broming.
The hotel is located central but without much live, shopping and food choices around.
