Really cool hostel where they seem to have thought of almost everything, probably one of the best hostels we've stayed in and we wish we could have stayed longer. There are things that could be a little better sure but it's nice to have certain facilities like the gym even if it is a bit basic. Beds are comfy and big with a good level of privacy and the lockers are also good. Staff are friendly too. There is a swimming pool, seperate tv/ chill room, kitchen, free tea and coffee and a pool & ping pong table. Pretty awesome for a hostel! Thought the price of towel rental was a big steep, could have been instead a deposit system. Pool table need resurfacing and a bit of maintenance. The bathrooms were big but the cubicles were small with only a couple of hangers. With the room they could have made longer shower cubicles with a curtain and a dry area to get changed and hang clothes like they do on even campsites back in Aus.…
Room is quite nice and cozy but I feel unsecure about my stuffs in the room. Bathroom is good and private. Good location. Staffs? not really ! (just because I'm an Asian?) but literally just about the money every time I asked or needed something.
Mercy Hostel is our favourite hostel in Thailand! So comfortable and clean, very friendly staff and lots of communal areas to chat with new friends, play ping pong, pool, and swim in the little pool. The WiFi connection is great in all areas of the complex and we were really pleased with how clean and comfortable the beds were. Comfiest pillows of all the hostels we've stayed in!
I really loved this hostel! The staff are so kind and friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Yok, Big, Pair, Joy and Huan (the manager). Pair is nursing an adorable 3 week old orphaned kitten! The bathrooms were very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. This is the first hostel I’ve stayed in that includes both a gym, pool and TV room. It was great that the hostel provides free water, tea and coffee to guests and the biscuits in the morning were a nice gesture. I would strongly recommend this hostel to anyone going to Chiang Rai. I felt very welcome and comfortable here and didn’t want to leave!
I really recommend this hostel to everybody who wants to stay in chiang rai. We booked a private room with private bathroom and everything was more like a hotel than a hostel. We had a nice big shower, aircondition, a small balkony and even a tv (although we didn't need one). It was very clean, the pool area cozy and the kitchen provided all dishes we could need. Above this, the staff was so kindly and helpful. They answered every of our question and seemed to enjoy their work. Ordering a scooter for us was easy for them and they gave us good tips about the city. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!
