This Hostel is so cozy and it’s one of the best place to stay in ChiangRai with good breakfast and great staff. You can also borrow their bicycle to ride around town. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the city.

This place is the cutest! There is so much thought put into everything and they have created an atmosphere that is so calm, warm and inviting. There is noise from the streets of Chiang Rai, but the charm of Happynest makes you forget all that. They are also so friendly and helpful. And the mango French toast for breakfast was amazing!! It ozzes cuteness and charm.

Stayed for two nights in a big room with bathroom. Clean, great bed and linen. Great location and the staff were so very friendly 😊. Great value for money. Happynest indeed. Chiang Rai itself is more of a starting point for travel around, this a great place to be based.

I have been in Happynest hostel 4 years ago, the experience was better. I loved my moment there so much, so I did make a reservation with them once again. However, I was quite disappointed. Our Deluxe Double Room were old and have smell in the room. I think the room needs renovation. The lobby/common area are still nice and well decorated. The staffs at the breakfast is very friendly and the front desk in the morning are nice to us. But the the menu of waffle and eggs taste with yoghurt taste weird, so we didn't eat it. I don't think I will come back again.

Thank you for coming back to our nest. However we feel sorry for your disappointment. The renovation is in our plan in beginning of 2020. We promise to deliver the better staying experience. Regarding the breakfast, we decide to put the yoghurt sauce on the side so if the guest don't like it they still can eat the waffle and egg. We try to minimize food waste here. You can let us know what do you like or dislike and we will do our best to match your like. Once again, thank you for coming back and leaving this useful comments. We hope to see you again after our renovation.

This is my second time to stay here (1st stay since 4 years ago). I booked a room for 3 pax, what we got is very huge room on 3rd floor. Room is very comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly. We paid not over than 3,000THB for 2 night, unbeleiveable this price included breakfast and breakfast is very nice. As hotel is located in very convenient area, lots of local restaurant, bar and cafe. If you are cat lover, don't miss to walk 5 mins to cat cafe (can't remember name). Travelling in city, recomend you to call a grab, easy and cheap. Only once thing in the room is shower too small. If you are western size, shower room can't fit you to. Anyway, you take a shower in common bathroom.
