Stayed at the my dream guest house because we had booked a 2 days trek with Nan, the owner. The guest house itself was awesome: contains a few great bungalows, with good quality bathroom. Bed was big and comfortable, with a mosquito net. The mattress and pillow were both great. Location of the guesthouse is quite far away from Chiang... More

Just came back from our first trip to Thailand. We were recommented to stay with Nan at My Dream Guesthouse. This was one of the most wonderful experiences we have ever had. Unfortunately the weather was really bad while we were there, but Nan smiled at us, startet a warm fire at gave us warm blankets. His wife cooked wonderful... More

We did a 1 night, 2 day trek with Nan and it was great! We visited lots of tribal villages and did a fun trek (if tiring at times) through different terrain in the hills. We also did an elephant ride which was included in the price and we went to two waterfalls and hot springs. Food is also included... More

Decided to break the boat trip from Tha Ton - Chiang Rai here on recommendation of another traveller, having been told that the river lodges were basic but remote and that the night time chorus from frogs and birds was amazing. We hadn't pre-booked (which most other guests apparently had; there seemed to be lots of people on 3 day... More

Good place to chill out, good food, good price... We had a really good stay. Nan, the owner, is a really good and interesting person. If you have the opportunity, go by boat from chiang rai (1h30, 1 departure per day at 10:30 am), the trip by itself worth it!

The owner is very friendly and chatty. A good guide and a very knowledgeable local. I stayed here for one night during my adventures in northern Thailand. You should know that this place is remote. No cell reception and no bus service. But with your own car/motorcycle/scooter or guide you can get here pretty easily from Chiang Rai. This is... More

My Dream is an ok place if you are looking for something remote and very, very rustic. It is in a beautiful river valley that feels quite isolated, though not too far from Chiang Rai. We stayed in two river front bungalows which could be priced even less, due to their extremely basic offerings. In fact, one did not even... More

Unfortunately for us, this was not the experience we were expecting. We are a young couple and booked one night. Resume: Do not book in advance like us (8 months in advance), because customers that booked "only" 3 months earlier were prioritary. The place is really authentic, but the logistics are really really bad. Nan is correct but not really... More

I spent three days at My Dream, with Nan picking me up at Chiang Rai airport (you can also catch the long tail ferry boat, which leaves ciang rai mid-morning, and could be an interesting way to go). It was still the rainy (low) season and i was the only guest. The river side bungalows are lovely -'and not nearly... More

We spent three nights in one of the river view bungalows of My Dream Guest House (MDGH). We had arranged to take a VIP Green bus from Chang Mai to Chiang Rai (an inexpensive, beautiful, and comfortable 3 hour trip), and Nan, the owner/operator of MDGH, met us at the bus station and drove us out to the location, which...
