Happy and cozy place with good environment. The owner does a great job for keeping up the old accessories to let us feel the old time again. 😘😘😍😍 so far the place is very clean but remember to bring the lotion to prevent the mosquito at night when you hanging out.

Since our last stay here in November 2014 a good deal has changed. The son is now involved, a new cafe has been opened at the front and the rooms have been carpeted - and the prices have increased a lot. It is still a unique place in an old rambling teak house which is great, still a great breakfast... More

Staying here is like travel machine. The place decorated as old school, my room is teacher quater 1/4 which is adorable. The room is ac and super clean but I left the window open during the day to get fresh wind. The location is smacked in the middle of city and they have free bike for guests. If you prefer... More

We had a wonderful stay in Chiang Rai at Baan Norn Plearn. We were only going to stay for 2 nights but extended our stay another night. The rooms are comfortable, good aircon, shower and comfy bed. Breakfast included which is a bonus. The property and grounds are really interesting to look around. We had a great coffee at the... More

Chiang Rai is a bit rough and ready and this guesthouse is a quiet break from the noise and bustle of the small city. It's located off a major street-we had rooms in the back which were not noisy though other reviews indicate that the rooms in the front got more street noise. This place is very reasonable and customers... More

Very cute hotel in walkable distance from famous watch. Very friendly staff. Spacious room, nice bedding, good bathroom, nice balcony in front of each room. Very home-style. The only negative point - I was just shocked with the fact that I have to CLEAN plates after breakfast and WASH them, all by myself. And there is not dish-washing machine. Hand... More

Cozy & homey 14-room B&B place that turned kindergarten into guesthouse business, the price is reasonable. Given the location that it's in the city area, and it's next to some apartments, so don't expect the great views or anything - but at least the place has a bit of lovely garden corner with some big trees they still maintain. The... More

We stayed at Baan Norn Plearn for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed for longer! - Adorable interiors with great attention to detail, which preserve the character of the kindergarten school from which this hotel was converted. The character contributed to the homeliness, coziness and comfort of our stay. - Wonderfully kind hosts. This hotel is run by... More

When we arrived in CR i had thought it was a bit crazier than CM...the we walked into Baan Norn...so quiet, so homey, and clean...the rooms are large, clean and the staff is wonderful. They are cleaning constantly. Mom stays there during the day and helps with anything that you need...she will let you use the phone and all. Dad... More

Good location, spotlessly clean, free water & coffee, good breakfast, good condition bikes to borrow, and extremely friendly staff. What more could one want? I stayed in a Standard Double room for 1 night, and a Superior Double room for 3 nights. Honestly, not a significant difference between the rooms, both were lovely and quiet. The Superior was just slightly... More
