Two friends and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was a very nice place to stay but the location is a bit out of the way and the pool was closed when we were there which was disappointing as that's what we went for.

First, don't take a room in the block next to reception - the roosters just behind will wake you at 3am! However, the other blocks are fine, and the new block is great. The swimming pool is lovely and very clean. Breakfast wasn't included but was very good and available onsite at the rather idiosyncratic restaurant: when we were there...

A decent hotel, unfortunately we could not enjoy too much of it and its pool as we only stayed for one night; but the time we spent here was fine. Its infrastructure and design was very good. We hope to visit it again and enjoy it more.

The room is a bit small and you can hear the people next door or on the floor under you or above you talk as as if they were in the room with you. Other then that the staff speak and understand English beautifully. They are very helpful too. Private parking is provided. The hotel has a pool and also...

The guesthouse is very nice and the rooms are very clean. Stayed in the new addition building just above the swimming pool. I read a lot of people complaint about noise from the outside but couldnt hear any other than the occasional dog barking. I did find that the staff is a bit uptight from time to time when they...

Nice charming guesthouse. Warm atmosphere with all the wood. The rules are quite rigid, but this place seems to part of other hotels with the same owner so a flexible family atmosphere is most probably not possible. The place is sweet and comfortable. The swimming pool is good. The rooms are basic. There is some garbage in the beautiful garden...

Ben Guesthouse was a great place to stay. It's a budget inn quality but with great positives. There's a restaurant on the property to order your meals. I had the American breakfast which was about 5 US dollars, it was decent, with 2 eggs and a lot of thai style bacon and thai sausages and a cup of coffee. I...

Reviews here seem to be hot and cold but we cant really understand why. This place is completely fine. Staff were very helpful with our request for an additional bed and room rate was great. Pool clean, location OK (20 min walk to centre or cheap tuk tuk but you need to walk out to main road to hail one)....

So we booked through Booking.com and they failed to let us know that the pool was it of action for the month of August (and this was one of the main reasons we picked the hotel). The lady on the front desk was one of the rudest most unwelcoming people I have ever met. The first thing she said wasn't...

Booked a triple room here a couple of days before arriving in Chiang Rai. When we arrived the lady at reception was very rude, didn't even say hello to us and made us feel quite unwelcome. Driving into the hotel, we noticed the pool was empty and all reception said about this was "you already knew about the pool" (we...
