The proximity to the bus station and the night market/bazaar made the North Hotel our first choice. There is air con & a fridge in each room. Clean sheets & towels. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location - a minute or two to the night market and bus station in Chiang Rai. We paid very little to stay here in a private twin room with AC. AC was over one of the beds, so if left on over night, AC is blasting into your face. My friend did not have an issue with this, but... More

Clean, cute facility. Stayed in a private room with ensuite that also had a pretty patio. Room was large enough that I was able to get a workout in. Perfect location, 1 minute walk to the night bizarre and bus station... Literally. The only con was that very little English was spoken, but, I see that more as my fault... More

We decided to go back to our backpacking days and just rock up at this hotel. It's been a long time since I have arrived at a hotel without a booking, but the prices on the hotel's web-site and those I heard about didn't match. As it was, there's plenty of cheap places around the night market area, so we... More

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling around Chiang Rai. The hotel is centrally located, 200 met from the bus stop and directly behind the night markets. The hotel was nice, with a 24hr desk, friendly staff and nice rooms. The beds were big and comfy, the bathroom was small but the shower was hot ! A great location if... More

Place is really well located. Close to the station and the market. Easy to go around from there. My room on third floor was small but clean. AC and hot water. Nothing much to say. Perhaps there are cheaper places around (I paid 490bht per night). But in the end I was happy with my experience there.

We stayed here one night on our way over the boarder from Laos. It is 2 minutes from the bus station. Our room was small, but comfortable. Our bed was comfortable and we had a nice patio area that we shared with the room next door. It is very close to the night market and stress free catching our bus... More

The location of the North Hotel honestly couldn't have been better, prime location for night markets in particular! The house cat is friendly and clean although will sometimes venture into the dorm rooms in particular so keep the door closed! Slightly unsettling at first when we discovered there was no lock for our dorm room, so keep that in mind... More
