We ‘re really enjoyed with this place nice swimming pool good breakfast and good service. We had the wedding anniversary on our stay, we had a surprise to receive the cake and writing card from director of room that make us impressed and we will comeback again.
Been here countless of times, the location was best with beach and calm green environment. Service was great as well as its facilities. The staff was very nice and detailed on our request. If you wanna have best view request a room with view of the large pool! it is better than other side!
Our stay in Hua Hin was with a large group at the Dusit Thani. We had heard a great deal about the property and expectations were high. I would like to start with the positives and then where I feel that they need to make some improvements, adjustments, changes. As we approached the property it is really grand. The grounds are really the high light. The pools and grounds are absolutely magnificent. Our check in was fairly basic. I’m not sure if they were short staffed on the Friday night that we checked in but the lady just met the standard. Her communication was not very clear and she basically pointed to where our room would be. It wasn’t awful, it was just not five star which they claim to be. The property is old and does need some updating. The room was fine but the cupboard and drawer space is not functional at all. Others that have stayed here previously said that this had changed and it was very difficult to unpack with such little area to put clothes anywhere. Perhaps putting some drawers along the wall where the TV is mounted would be a useful space to do this. Television – not everyone needs a TV whilst away but the fact that the Television only had Thai channels and not one English channel available was not satisfactory. There was no transport to the Hua Hin town that previously had existed free of charge at Dusit Thani. They should advise people of the services that they no longer provide. Some of the people in our group had children and they were not advised that they had closed the kids club. They should have been advised of this very early on as it was part of their holiday planning. Unfortunately with this , they did need to move to another hotel down the road that provided this service. Pool side : It’s time for new towels. The towels were not clean, marked badly and some were frayed. This isn’t acceptable at all. I believe the service in previous years was exceptional by the pool. Now there is no one walking around checking if you would like food, drinks. You go to the pool bar and order it and then wait and wait and wait for the food to come from the kitchen and it seems to be a very long time. They have reduced their menus and closed two of the onsite restaurants. I would have thought that leaving the Italian restaurant open would have been the best idea. I’m not sure what the problem was pool side as breakfast was efficient and staff were plentiful for this. Our friends also told us that in the past there was the opportunity by the pool for massages and this service also does not exist. Friends did have a massage in the wellness area and spoke highly of it. Hua Hin has been affected by covid like everywhere in the world and we wish them the best of luck to get back to the standard that we had heard about. Currently it is not five star.…
the taste of breakfast at Dusit Thani is very good. I love the freshness and variety lines of food and drink. Also, the staff is so kind and they look after us very well; especially khun Cha, Ying and all other staff. I wish to come back here again sooon.
I spent a night for my advance birthday celebration trip in Hua-Hin. It was my first time staying in Dusit Thani Brand. The lobby is huge and beautiful. We were escorsted to check-in at the Executive lounge where they probide selection of afternoon tea and evening happy hours. Room is newly renovated. I has one suite that can overlooking to the pool and beach directly from my balcony. Bath amenities are smell good. Breakfast selections were amazing. All staffs were also friendly and genuine. Special thanks to Director of Rooms - Khun Bond, for having a part making my stay become memorable. I will definitely come back here again soon!
During my stay at Dusit Trani Hunhin, just like to special thanks for Director room (Mr. Worapot P.) super excellent services. I m traveled around the world but this time I m really impressed about his services and his team. I m really recommend if you are looking for place to stay and excellent services, Dusit Thani Hotel . Warm and Classic hotel with helpful staff and nice facilities. The pool is nice with children friendly facilities. The breakfast is superb, great selection of food and Thai-style churros or Pa-Tong-Go is a must. The hotel location is good, only 10min drive to center of Huahin.
If you have a child or children, this place is definitely a good fit. We actually visited Hua Hun twice or three times a year, but it was our first time visiting Dusit Thani Hua Hin. We are quite amazed at how big the swimming pools are and the way the hotel is right at the beach. Rooms are well-cleaned and the staffs are helpful and friendly. The first night we had dinner at Nomada Grill and we loved it! Slow-cooked Picanha is a must :) Even half-chicken was fantastic. Skin - crispy, meat - moist and aromatic. Thank you to Khun Bond, Khun Mick, front office team and all staffs really for taking good care of my family throughout our stay. We will totally revisit :)
Returning to this hotel after several years I am still impressed with the level of service. Dusit is well known for great hospitality, hua hin hotel is quite old but undergoes recent renovation. I chose club suite this time. It is spacious with nice decoration. All essential amenities were there. Nothing I could ask more. Breakfast was quite crowded but club guests enjoyed a separate room. Food choices were abundant. The only problem for me was parking space, it was hard to find during busy weekend.
I joined the corporate event at the hotel in April'2022 and was made aware that the charged rate for my room was Club King Suite room but in fact we're put into the Family Suite room where it's smaller/cheaper than the corporate paid for. I can stay in that room but I think the hotel took advantage given the guest was not aware of the agreed rate which so ashamed. I request the hotel to change the room but they keep saying that this is the last room while I still can find the available king suite room on Dusit hotel website!!. I did not tell our contact staff as I saw them headache with so many horrible things managed by the hotel eg. check-in not ready for our groups (20persons), some received welcome drinks some not, changed the booked activities, daily cleaning for our group (8 rooms) not performed until we returned from outside tour at 4pm and we had to call the housekeeping and waited outside. When I know that the event will be held at this hotel, I was so afraid of their poor operation management as I had direct experienced in Sep'2021 when my family stayed there for a week in club king suite room where I booked direct on hotel website. At that time the hotel was quite crowded and the restaurant was not able to handle traffic of any meal. Jam breakfast, slow lunch and shortage dinner. I tried to ignore as it's still during heavy COVID19 period and they might lack of staffs. However the recent trip advised me that I was wrong, my kid asked me if this is called a poor management and wondering why they still exist?…
