It's a nice beach resort in Hua Hin. Stayed there for 2 nights in a pool villa. It has a large pool and other amenities that you can expect from a luxury resort. Straight access to the beach, and dining options at the beach as well. The management was very accommodating. They even went the extra file to give us Halal options during breakfast. However, we were a bit disappointed with their housekeeping. The rooms were not as clean as we expected. There was dirt under the ground floor's bed. There were dirt/iron marks in the toilet (on the second floor). On the second day, the housekeeping did not come for their routine cleanup and had to call them in the afternoon. Even then, they did not refill the food and beverage amenities (no water or tea or coffee). Hence, we had to request water again and gave us a few extra bottles. Typically, in the beach resorts that I have visited, flip flops are part of the amenities. That option was lacking. …
We chose Palayana as the resort for our destination wedding. Having never visited the resort it exceeded all our expectations! Sumeet, Shaun, the head chef and the entire staff were excellent. Their hospitality and attention to detail is unmatched. The villa's and all the rooms were so well maintained, and everything was always spick and span. I could not have chosen a better venue and support for our wedding. Thank you so much Palayana for making our wedding days an absolute success!
My husband Naufil and I have had an amazing experience with the Palayana team, especially working with Sumeet and Deboshree. We had been in conversation for over 1.5 years, discussing every detail of our destination wedding since COVID-19 was very much a concern then. They accommodated our vision starting from working on a strategy to navigate our worries around COVID, the type of food, booking rooms, and taking the time to get to know our friends and family once we got on site. Not only did we have the pleasure of working with Sumeet, but we met with the chef that had created a unique, personalized, and elaborate menu for our three events - our family and friends were overcome with the creativity, ingenuity and taste of the menu. What made our wedding even more special was that The Palayana itself is a beautiful, relaxing resort surrounded by so much nature, exactly what we needed to escape from the city. Despite our busy schedule, we were all able to unwind - whether it was by the beach late at night or a mid-day nap in between events in the comfort of our rooms. Three days were not enough for us and we are definitely going back again soon. An extraordinary team we have had the pleasure of knowing.…
We organized an Indian wedding at the Palayana for 60 guests over 3 days. Kudos to the property owners and management team (Sumeet, Debo, Shaun) who were top notch in communication, arrangement and guest service. Every guest praised their professional behaviour and warm attitude. The food menu is amazing and cannot be missed!
Worst service i even try before, try to communicate by email by never reply, i have accident in hotel area but they just care you took their medicine and cotton, charge double for same night , i may have mistake in reservation process but why you not inform the record to me, then i can change my schedule.
An excellent beachside resort with the most spacious and luxurious rooms and villas. The property is away from The busy Hua Hin beaches and allows some exclusive time with the family. The pools villas are exceptional. What’s more exceptional is the service by their manager sumeet and the personal attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious with some amazing fusion dishes as well.
At first look the Palayana is top rate. The rooms in the hotel are huge. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always accommodating. The food was always good and the chefs create a good meal. We were there for four days. Filming was taking place on the first two days and the Director loved his megaphone! The hotel did give everyone 10% off food and drink - Id have rather the peace and quiet. Third day and the film set was, very noisily, being dismantled (no discount this time). Fourth day and part of the pool decking was being, nosily, repaired. The hotels maintenance also involved very early and very late work of drilling, angle grinder, hammering etc. The main buildings aircon worked noisily as did the rooms fridge. The hotel moved us to another room and this was also an upgrade - very large and most welcomed, however the noise was still there. The hotel requires a refresh, water marks on the pool glass, sealant around the jacuzzi was missing or applied poorly, tile in the pool missing, paint work chipped or faded. Not a complaint but we only really saw any other guests at breakfast. We were the only two at the pool and in the restaurant at night. It made the atmosphere rather bleak. Apart from the noise issues, we still enjoyed our stay here and the faded décor etc was not an issue as everything appeared clean which is the main requirement for us. The buffet breakfast had a fair choice and the restaurant offered a range of options. Although, and as you would expect, it is quite pricey compared to a non hotel restaurant. We couldn't find much to do nearby that didn't entail a very long walk or transport. If you are not fussy about décor then this hotel is different to most and worth a visit. …
We stayed at Palaya to celebrate a covid wedding in the family.. there was a group of 20+ people. Sumeeth and his team went above & beyond to take good care of us. With a big group it’s always a little chaotic but the team at Palaya took very good care of each of us :) food was excellent and the service was prompt. On our last night there was a delicious 10 course set menu dinner arranged for us on the beach with lovely decor & fair lights. Will definitely return! Thank you team Palaya!
The Palayana Team goes out of their way to ensure the best service! We had such an amazing time last weekend, traveling with a big group is never easy - but Palayana made it a very memorable and comfortable experience! Absolutely loveee this property!
Not one request we made was neglected, and travelling with a group of 20+ Indians who're ready to party it up - you can expect a lot of interesting requests. These guys took really good care of us throughout our stay! Highly recommended to anyone looking to do a group event on a beautiful beachfront.
