We stayed in Grand Southsea hotel for our holiday in Khaolak, Thailand. There's many mixed reviews about this hotel but it's perfect as a place to sleep and keep your things. We stayed in a double room and the room itself was very big and the bed!! The room was very clean and the shower is big. There is a...

Nice budget hotel, don't pay more than £70 for it though even in peak December. We had 2 massive suitcase which we left by reception to be carried to us and was dismayed to see a young girl carrying it to our floor, 6 flights of steps. There's no lift. I decided to do it myself at the end, as...

My wife and I have just checked out of this hotel, the hotel rooms and the pool are of the quality depicted in the hotels pictures. The breakfast is average, don't expect a full English but you can order eggs any way you like. Buffet lunch and dinner has a good selection from many cultures and for 350Bhat a person...

- definitely NOT an 5-star hotel - room was quite dirty (see photo of toilet) - although very friendly, the staff did not really speak english, which is not appropriate for an so called "5 star" hotel - the part of the beach that belongs to the hotel is extremely dirty and the beach lounger are a joke, not even...

We are currently staying at this hotel and only into our 5th day out of two weeks! We cannot fault this place at all! The staff are really friendly and helpful! The location is perfect, a stone throws distance from the beach and a 10 minute taxi into town! There are some lovely restaurants at the end of the road...

The Hotel really needs some improvements, EG umbrellas around the pool, when we arrived there was just two. So off I went to reception to request an umbrella and was told by an older Thai lady ( who was an awful receptionist on several occasions) that they didn't have anymore and shrugged her shoulders. I then asked to speak to...

On arrival the hotel looks fine and rooms were OK. Nothing special but equally not horrible. Had tea & coffee making facilities in the room but no milk. Just grab some at breakfast it's no hardship. It's not a 5 star it's more of a 3. Hotel staff are pleasant but absolutely useless at speaking English so trying to book...

We traveled with a 1-year old and a 4-year old. The hotel was nice, room clean and sufficient. Breakfast regular standard - nothing fancy but we were satisfied. Mainly because we had an earlybird offer -50% on the room. If we had paid full price we would have been disappointed. Pool was nice and our kids loved it. The reason...
