Hotel and staff were amazing. Special thanks to Mat, Sia and Oil at The Meal restaurant the Thai food was superb. Also loved the Sky bar and restaurant with super views. Great free shuttle bus every hour into town and beautiful memories beach. Rooms are large and very spacious although we did have a suite. Cleaning staff are amazing towels and bed linen changed every day. We'll definitely be back sad to be going home. Billy & Sheila

Excellent facilities excellent staff had poolside room could not fault on size cleanliness it is a bit out of town but free shuttle great & taxi good price there are few restaurants & massage beachfront not part of hotel if wanting a change the onsite spa very good restaurant offer great meals had the all inclusive package so enjoyed plenty of cocktails

I stayed at this hotel in 2018 as part of a package deal with my sister - it was the best experience ever! We had a swim up pool room with jacuzzi, which was clean & beautifully presented. The pool is huge with lots of little areas, so even though other people may have been in the pool at the same time, it always felt like it was your own private pool. The staff are all so friendly, smiley, polite & really go out their way to make your stay special - always offering to carry your bags, give you a lift to your room (even though it’s only a very short & lovely walk) or just checking if there is anything else you need for your room. All the food was delicious at the hotel but the breakfast really stood out & was incredible with the amount of choice there was - there really is something for everyone. The care & passion put into the cooking is amazing. The hotel itself could do with some touch ups but this didn’t make any difference to or have any impact on our stay. The location is great if you intend to stay at the resort or only want to go on a few local excursions but we did venture out a few times towards Phuket to do a temples & an island hopping tour. This area was hit badly by the Tsunami & lost a lot of tourism, which they are trying to pick up. I really hope many people go to visit this hotel/area, as it really is a special place with a lot of love. I would love to stay here again if I ever get the chance to. Looks good at first sight, but when you look closer, you see black mold in the showers, ants inside, broken showerheads, and faulty air conditioning. The staff tries with what they got, and that's not nearly enough. We had 3-4 nights either freezing or sweating due to AC. Then they start to nag about credit when you pass 10k bath on your room. The hotel states it's smoke-free, but our neighbors did what they wanted and got away with it regardless of what we said to management. We are just disappointed about our stay here and will not return!

Dear Roger H Thank you very much for your feedback. Your incident and unsatisfaction have been recorded with long story. The first issue, the smoking occurred from next door, we already have communicated with the customer to stop smoking inside the room area and charged fine for violating. It has taken certain time to communicate with them as they are both hearing impaired. We deeply apologize for causing unpleasantness. The representative informed us that you require compensation and money back from us, surely. On the next day, we got informed that you would like to move to another room, and we prepared the room specially. But you claimed that “Air-con does not cool fast enough” which is difficult as we are in tropical country and it would take some times to cool down. So, we offered another upgrade to “Pool Access Jacuzzi” and you refused it again. Then you decided to move back to your original room, so we remake the room just for you and provided complimentary spa voucher for 2 adults. Again, we apologize for the unpleasantness and inconvenience caused. Yet, as we thrive to assist and serve our guests on daily basis, we offered every possible thing that could solve your issues and there is nothing more we can offer you. Very nice place with good service but only some Restaurant we're Open and the poolbar Close at 5 PM the Bungalow was wonderful but has not a seperat room everything was Clean and quiet we will come back

We travelled on a Luxury Escapes deals as a family with young children, staying in a swim out room. We knew we were travelling in wet season and some facilities at the resort would be unavailable but this did not lessen our stay in any way. The room was large and very comfortable. It was the small things like a step for the kids to stand on at the bathroom sink make a nice touch. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of selections and dinners equally as nice. We mainly swam from our room and the pool was a great temperature to keep cool in. We did visit the water park, though the kids had a great time the water was a little to warm for us. Also close walking distance either left or right along the beach for other great dinning options and massages. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Just returned from 10 nights at this wonderful hotel. We had an all inclusive package (Luxury Escapes) and we had a fantastic time. The food was plentiful and delicious. Our rooms clean and comfortable. Thank you to all the staff members who cared for us so well.

I love to stay at this place the place very comfortably to us and on the beach are very clean and not walked to long. And breakfast food have many choices to choose and food are delicious and staff are politely and warm welcome. See you soon for sure on my next holiday. Love you mai khao lak beach.
