This is like bungalow, It not too much people to stay when I was there. It made me feel like I stayed at home!! Because of more quiet, private for people who did not like too crowded. The pool too smal, but facing with beach front.

We stayed at the Shambhala for two weeks in February 2017 with our 18 week old. The hotel is next to Bang Niang beach in Khao Lak, and is near to the end of the beach road right next to the Casa De La Flora resort. As a result the hotel is very quiet with little road traffic. From the...

Cannot find enough superlatives for this lovely little family run resort. Extremely friendly and comfortable nothing is too much trouble. The resort is situated right on the beach with easy access it is a good walk to the town where the main restaurants are situated but only 10 to 15 minutes so no problem and well worth it to be...

To be fair, most places in Khao Lak along the beach seem to be expensive and this was no different. After arriving and also after booking, I found that there are other more affordable places in Khao Lak. I normally stay at more budget minded places because I travel a lot. The room was quite average and bed was comfortable,...

For the second time we were here for a relaxing stay in Khalolak. We were in a sea bungalow so right at the beach. It is a small resort, but very Thai! Breakfast is allright, although you must take some time for it. Don't be surprised if the food doesn't come in as you ordered, due to language matters.... Bathroom...

We stayed in Shambhala for a week before moving to Phuket. We wished we stayed longer. It was like a little paradise compared to the busy streets of Phuket. A nice small hotel with a great infinity pool overlooking a quiet beach. Perfect location minutes away from many restaurants and bars. Great food especially a la carte breakfast with an...

The staff is great and made our stay most enjoyable. The hotel itself is like a nice backpacker hotel, comfortable definitely but not fancy. But the seashore access and views, as well as the aforementioned staff added a star. Breakfast includes the best, drinkable diner coffee in thailand, and there is a small swimming pool to wash off the sea...

It felt a bit like coming home arriving at the Shambhala. The first place we visited twice because we were looking for sun, beach, good food, nice people and a place to relax. The staff is friendly and the resort is small and clean. Being in a seafront bungalow we can manage for some time out here!

This cosy resort is a real marvel. Excellent location on the beach, you have always the impression to be in a private club. Staff is top in friendliness and helpfulness. The kitchen and card is very good and always compared well to all other restaurants we tried in Ban Niang village. Nights are quiet without the noise of night clubs...

This resort was a gem. The service was great. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and served overlooking the beach. The pool was clean and just the appropriate temperature. Massage service was top notch. Great view, location, and a beautiful beach. We swam every day. Many restaurants within walking distance. We plan to return.
