We have stayed at this resort many times and it never fails to please from great location to very good food and of course great and friendly staff. Mainly stay in Grande Pool Villas with private garden and pool but even the rooms above the adults only pool are very good. Denny, the Manager could not be more obliging and is constantly seen buzzing around the resort willing to answer any questions.

We are heading to Khao Lak and wondering if recent Australian guests could advise on what insurance they took out. It's a minefield trying to work through, especially to have covid cover, etc. Appreciate any tips you can supply.

An absolutely fantastic resort. Beautiful pool villas, great meals and facilities. The "buffet" meals are a bit of a misnomer as there are always 4 or 5 fresh meal stations preparing fish, meat, pasta and Thai dishes to order. Also includes wine and beers at meal times. There are a lot of fitness options available and the gym has proper machines and free weights. We would love to come back when the resort is full as we believe the resort would have a great vibe. Also a special thank you to Richard and his team for such attentive staff and service.

It is not the easiest to write a review during COVID time. But, in all honesty, the service and the experience we (my wife and myself) had with Robinson, from before we travelled to our departure, was one to remember forever. The resort is located in a heaven, and the quality and care of the service were outstanding. For us it seemed even better as we upgraded to Oceanfront Pool Villa. The food selection was varying ever day and, being in Thailand and fans of local food, we only ever choose dishes from local cuisine at the buffet lunch and dinner, and it was always fantastic. We did participate to some activities, not many to be honest as we chose this holiday as real chilling out time for us, after almost 3 years of black-out dur to the situation. But we were mostly pleased with these too. The team was always there but never invading or in the way, something not easy to find around. We are not dishing out 5 dots rating for the sake of it, we mean every word. Most of times humans have an inclination to declare the last holiday they had was the best ever. I can say that this was definitely one we appreciated the most, and we will most certainly be back again as it deserves it. Thank you the whole Robinson team for being such an amazing caring group of people delivering a fantastic experience!

Although fairly quiet because of the Thai government’s ongoing tight restrictions for covid, the resort had enough guests to give the place a really good atmosphere. This is due in no uncertain terms to the hard work of all the staff at the resort who’d were so friendly, courteous and professional. The resort grounds cover quiet a large area and are maintained to a very high standard. There are several pools located throughout the resort so you don’t have to go far for a dip. And of course the stunning beach where you can walk in either direction for miles. We were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a bungalow with a pool. The bungalow is very comfortable as was the bed ! The food at the resort is excellent and in particular the variety of Thai food was superb. The Robinson Club resort is owned by Tui who are a German company so the majority of guests were German. There were also other European guests at the resort and for us it’s always nice to meet other nationalities on holiday and pretty much all the staff speak English so it was never an issue. We would love to visit the resort again if we visit Khao Lak in the future.

What a marvellous resorts from the moment we stepped into the lobby until the day we left it was perfect, the hotel staff lead by a lady named Jeab were so attentive and efficient. We spent 2 weeks here at the resort in a private beachfront village with pool and spa, the bathroom was huge and well planned with a nice big bath tub, loads of hanging space with ironing board and a good supply plush towels for inside as well as for the pool. The beach was clean and spotless thanks to the staff who were diligently in cleaning it everyday. The wait staff in the restaurants spread around the complex were also friendly and efficient, the food is of excellent quality, tasty and is presented well, the wines are good and plentiful at meal times. A special thanks to the girls and guys who work so hard to please the guests. Without a doubt we will be back as this has been one of the most relaxing holidays we have experienced in a long time - good job Robinson Club Team - thank you

We genuinely loved this ROBINSON Club and we feel so lucky to have been able to travel back to Thailand after an exceptionally difficult 20months for the country. It felt like going back in time, deserted beaches and locals genuinely so excited to see tourism slowly returning. This hotel team were working incredibly hard (as a smaller team right now given the reduced number of guests which thankfully for them is now starting to grow). This group of people go to great lengths to deliver this unique club concept in Khao Lak. Whilst ROBINSON was originally most well known in Germany, in Khao Lak this is an international club with people travelling from all over the world but with the high standards of food and fitness for example that ROBINSON is so well known. 1. Arguably the best location in Khao Lak with a wide-open entrance directly sitting on the 15km white sandy beach of Khao Lak – one of the only resorts in Thailand to have sun-loungers and bean bags on the beach 2. Lovely spacious rooms spotlessly clean (no easy task in such a big resort full of nature) 3. The food was exceptional – whilst buffet style – they are mainly individual live cooking stations offering a huge variety using only the freshest ingredients. Even the desserts are to die for (so unusual in holiday destinations) 4. There are occasional theme evenings where the team go to great lengths with decoration and upgrading service, food and live singers down at the bamboo beach bar 5. For those who want it, the fitness and spa facilities are like no other – the gym and a huge range of professional fitness classes delivered by top instructors (kudos to Stefan particularly, a total pro!) 6. Whilst a family resort – it works just as good for those travelling without children as the resort, multiple swimming pools (they are dotted around the beautiful grounds everywhere) provide more than enough space to lose yourself 7. Drinks and speciality restaurants are all reasonably priced and well worth a visit Note - this is not a brand new ultra-modern hotel, but that is part of the beauty of it – the grounds and nature are out of this world A sincere thank you to The AGM Robert and his amazing team – so hard to mention all by name but we really would like to say a personal thank you from us to – Restaurant team - Pla (Yawadee), Rin, Gai & Aid Chef Dang & Ball (& the egg ladies!) for the amazing live cooking stations Front Office - Jeab is simply wonderful The lovely young guys from Myanmar - Aung & Chai such hard workers All housekeeping, landscaping and event teams deserve a medal for the non-stop work they do behind the scenes – look out for M, he is everywhere and a real team player And to Stefan, what a great guy and true all-round professional fitness classes making all abilities feel welcome We hope to see you all again - thank you so mucm. We have been to ROBINSON KHAO LAK before and again the resort did not disappoint. This time was a little different as it was emerging successfully from the pandemic and restarting. The reduced guests make it harder for the club to deliver the ROBINSON concept but they excelled and gave us everything and more we know and love It for. Staff have been reduced to guest occupancy so they are all multi skilling and helping out where needed. The Well Fit team (Stefan & Jinke) provided excellent classes in the morning from Thai boxing, mobility and functional workouts. The GM Robert even held a hot iron class which was superb. Food at ROBINSON Is amazing quality and variety and even with limited guests the main restaurant served cooked to order (buffet) with many choices from the Thai dishes, varied salad bar, meat, fish and pasta dishes. The street food nights - Asias big smile and Taste Jam plus the ROB carpet evening are amongst our favourites and even a special effort was made for Valentines. Special mention must go to all the service team from the cooks and servers especially, Pla, Rin, M, Gai to name a few. The beach boy Aung was so helpful getting our towels, all the staff can not enough for you. The facilities are superb and the gym is top of the range what you expect from ROBINSON. If you love beaches then this is the hotel for you. You can walk for miles on golden white sands. Make sure you pop into the local beach bar - pason/canal bar they make some great cocktails! Don’t be put off with any extra restrictions with the Thai pass. Once you compete it and print off all documents it’s all fairly straight forward and very efficient and now day 5 test has been removed even easier. This is the time to come to Thailand, the beaches are quiet, the resorts are quiet but one thing for sure is the Thai people welcome you to their country with open arms. If your unsure what hotel to choose in Khao Lak then look no further as this is our 3rd time to ROBINSON and we love the concept and everything about that hotel. Untill next time

Due to the still ongoing pandemic situation the occupancy was significantly under the resort's capacity. Therefore the remaining staff was unrestingly busy to keep the spacious location in good shape. Despite that struggle everybody in all areas like service, cleaning, gardening, reception, entertainment, sports and management was incredibly motivated, helpful and so kind! Assistance with any kind of questions regarding travel, health and test arrangements were always immediate and accurate. The whole facility itself is a paradise, great beach, great vegetation, cozy spots, great food, great activities, beautiful and clean accommodations. Perfect relaxation, met great new friends, good music, good physical workout! Unforgettable days which passed by all too quickly!! Nonetheless the highlight of it all was the way how the friendly staff was committed to give the guest the feeling of being very welcome. All thumbs up for that amazing crew!!

The hotel is a real paradise with the best location direct to the beach. Beautiful private beach for walkings and enjoy sundowners! The room was very big and clean. The bed was large and I got a private swimming pool. The staff is very kind and always wanted to help in each department. The kitchen is very good in Robinson. Delicious Thai food and also you have the choice for Burgers and sandwiches. Youcan enjoy your relax time here!
