The hotel is strategically located away from the buzz of the city centre but still close enough to get things done. Great amenities, I particularly enjoyed the gym and the sauna. The rooms were clean and spacious. The spa massage experience could use a little upgrade. The food was decent and had variety. They had a Ramadan menu catering for Muslims which was quite considerate. The place is great as a business hotel, will need a few adjustments to cater for holiday guests. The staff was well trained and hospitable too.
The hotel is in the city of Arusha. Being in the city it is still away from the main noise which is very good. The front office and restaurant staff are very warm and friendly. The meals are fantastic. The rooms have everything you need . A great place to relax and also if you are on work. There is a lovely local restaurant (5 mins walk) from the hotel called Uzinguni.
I enjoined to relax at the pool with a Coup of fantastic coffee late. Stuff is friendly. The hotel is in close distance to the center. The hotel is very clean. The service and management is very professional.
We spent one night at this luxuary property on our way to Safari. The hotel was outstanding. Well furnished, well maintained, great location. The staff was excellent, professional and friendly. The food in the restaurant was exceptional--very aesthetic, flavorful, well presented, good portions and flavorful. Service was excellent. Would stay here again, and again.
What a beautiful hotel in Arusha. Very good and clean environment. I would recommend this hotel to each one staying in Arusha. They have good staff, they offer excellent services. Thanks a lot for your service, will recommend you.
We stayed at the Kibo for four days waiting on valid Covid rest results as the Tanzanian Ministry of Health computer crashed. The staff was excellent. With the covid situation, the rooms and hotel were very clean. One day as I passed the cleaning crew in a room--I saw them sanitizing the dresser drawers. The restaurant was excellent--we met the head chefs and they were so responsive to our questions. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was great. The best pizza that we have had in East Africa (we have been coming since 1994 averaging 3 times a year). Julius, the driver for the hotel, was the best. We had not planned to be in Arusha and he helped so much in navigating the city and watching out for my wife and I. The front desk helped us with all the forms needed. The pool area was beautiful! Quiet. Can't say enough about an excellent stay.…
I stayed for only one night in a triple room, thereis a small swimmingpool in the hotel....., the room was very nice..., big..., and clean..., TV and frig, they even left some anti moskito wipes, the staff was great and very helpful, the food was great.
I came here for breakfast with a friend. I will start with what could be improved and then talk about what I liked. I must say I was not to pleased with the service at the restaurant . Customer service needs improvement. The waitress acted like didn’t expect to have non-resident customers for breakfast as I asked for the breakfast menu. After we ordered the omelette which was very expensive compared to similar hotels in the city, what was brought to the table was just an plain omelette without the chips and salad that was meant to come with it as per the menu. I told the waitress and she went to fix it. No apology or explanation offered. It was a very uncomfortable experience especially because I am a number one supporter and fan of the Kibo Palace in Moshi and held similar experience here. Perhaps this Arusha one can learn from them. When it came to pay I said I’d like to pay in card and was told to go to reception to do it. At reception I was received well and the transaction went smoothly. What I did like about this hotel. The hotel is beautiful inside and the male staff are very professional. The have facilities like sauna that I look forward to trying. I will give this place another chance hence my generous stars.…
Lovely oasis in Arusha town, unique location with rustic feel, the lounge and rooms have amazing views, and the staff was extremely friendly. Visited during COVID so very quiet... would Recommend people to go there for leisure.
We stayed at this hotel before leaving for our safari. The hotel is just outside the city center and therefore quiet. The room was spacious and clean and the overall service was good. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast were also good.
