Customer service and food well at least I eating healthy because their breakfast was nutritious.

Room service costs at around 3 dollars and it’s in the city centre so you have an evening work scouting the city.

Generally everything was great in our 2 nights stay at Arusha Palace Hotel

For the price, I expected nothing short of a clean and spacious room topped with a pleasant view of the city. I slept like a baby that night. I stayed here on NYE on the 8th floor. I could see fireworks all across the city. On the 9th floor there was loud party going on, and the bass could be felt in my room and people were yelling up and down the hallway. So if you're looking for quiet location, make sure to not book the 8th floor on NYE. Cool cafes and supermarkets nearby if you want to buy some coffee and souvenirs back. Breakfast was one of the best I had in Tanzania. Their fresh fruits were superior to all.

Room was nice and comfortable. Was only there for 1 night during a stopover. Location wise very ideal i.e quite central in Arusha and their staff were super helpful and attentive. Would definately have it as an option for my next visit!

Wooooorst Gesture by Manager!😡

I went with siblings at the hotel's restaurant for an evening catchup.

This was 5th time at the hotel and the last one being a party. The past experiences were nice

Today the Manager escalated an embarrassing situation claiming that we were taking photos without permission even that we paid for the food.

He said we were kids and couldn't afford an expensive hotel so he called the restaurant maids to confirm.

He continued embarrassing us in-front of other staff saying we were not even able to comprehend because he was speaking English.

He said he was going to call for sticks so we get 3-cans each.

As funny as it is and maybe thinking he was joking, he confirmed he was not.

A lot of embarrassing words and insults were thrown to us just because he thought we were young. Anyhow, no one deserves such an experience and until the Manager sends an apology gesture, we will continue to sue him.

Comfortable well-functioning room and bathroom. Spacious room.
Towel rack was falling off wall!
Electric kettle in room. Toiletries provided in bathroom. Weighing scales provided in bathroom. Safe for storing valuables in wardrobe.
Snacks (muffin, bananas) provided when room is cleaned.
Buffet breakfast provided, large variety, delicious.
Dinner menu has reasonable selection on international food.
Professional reception staff, as would be expected for an international hotel.
Nice view of Mt. Meru from roof.
Quiet location and close to conference center and natural history museum. Some restaurants nearby.
Only one elevator serving 9 floors so often had to wait a long time.
Would be pleased to stay there again.

An excellent hotel, service is awesome, rooms are clean, the reception and all the staff are friendly. Breakfast is so nice, tasty and healthy food with lots of variety. Price is reasonable, I highly recommend any who wants to stay in Arush. The place is also central, it is a walking distance from the mini market and have a lot of cafeterias and restaurants.

The service is off!. The hotel has zero COVID-19 protocols. Do not trust the five paged document shared before arrival. The staff did not wear masks. I attended a conference and the meeting room was congested with only doors as ventilation!

I had to make a business trip to Arusha and had a short time to plan for it. So what came TOP OF MIND... was the Palace Hotel and decided to check it out as I had stayed there before.

Was nice to meet with some old friend and students of mine and the friendly atmosphere was what I needed most...

Well rested and had a successful trip.

We arrived pretty late at night and were given fresh juice, which was a pleasant surprise after a long plane ride. We ended up staying in two different rooms (One before we climbed Kilimanjaro, one after) and both had great WiFi, cable, comfortable beds, etc. The room was cleaned daily and included breakfast each day, and everyone on the staff we encountered was very helpful and friendly. We ate dinner at the hotel a couple of nights too, and it was great!

Spent 6 nights here over a 2-week time period and had 3 different rooms. Positives: front desk staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very good with many choices. Very sweet papaya and pineapple. Great outdoor seating area too. Showers in all 3 rooms were strong and hot (except for my very last shower before my 30 hour trip home - which was cold). Room is nicely furnished. Air conditioning is quiet and strong. It is close to the Clock Tower circle and there's small supermarket there. Nakumatt is the new huge supermarket and is 30 minute walk through central business district. It's only 10 minute walk to the Masai Market (where you need to bargain like crazy - start with 75% off as your first price). Negatives are too many and will prevent me from staying here again: Food poisoning from a sauce on their calamari (and they still made me pay for the meal). I was very sick for 24 hours. No wireless internet in any of my rooms except for the very first night. They said they could provide a cable for that type of connection. It took them 2 days to respond to my coworkers request for an alternative that would work for his Macbook air. Wireless in restaurant only on 2 days. Communication difficulties with front desk staff. They know English but you have to learn to use the English that they understand or they give you confused looks. The laundry services are extremely expensive, though they do a good job. The restaurant menu for lunch and dinner is quite limited. I would eat at other restaurants nearby, including Africafe and Fifis. They tack on a 5% upcharge for credit card use. My beds were king size but they were hard.
