Stayed here in between my Kili trek and safari, then after again, spent a total of 3 nights here. Not only were the staff super friendly, they were very accommodating to all my questions. The food was excellent and always made on time. Would highly recommend staying here!
Enter the gates of the Zawadi house and its like your in a whole new world! The rooms are quite comfortable, and the pool in the main area is wonderful! It even has a waterfall. The food is delicious and theres a menu to order whatever you want. The bar/restaurant has an outdoor portion, which is awesome. Breakfast was also great! Couldnt recommend this place more as the start or end of a great trip.
We spent 3 nights pre safari at this place. It s a smaller hotel (only 14 rooms) but clean. The friendliest of the staff makes it a great place as an introduction to Tanzania. Special mention to Edwin. He was our driver, tour guide and waiter! He is part of what made our stay memorable.
I was so impressed with the staff at this hotel. A misunderstanding on my part was problem solved in a way that more than exceeded our expectations. This hotel turned out to be a highlight of our 3 week trip to Africa. We were picked up from the airport by a hotel driver, Edwin Leonard who not only drove us in, but, after speaking with us, planned a perfect day for us the next day. We hiked to a local waterfall, then visited a family farm nearby and roasted and ground beansand drank the perfect cup of coffee. This was a local farm, Edwin is Meru from the area. He was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. This hotel is a real find, tucked in a neighborhood away from the bustle of the city. It is a good place to recoup from a long flight, since it is quiet, and has comfortable beds. You will love the service and getting to know the friendly staff.…
Great quite location and a feel good factor on arrival is the first impression - then it gets better. The staff is very responsive and helpful. Made changes as per our requirement. Emmanuel went out of the way to answer every query and meet smallest of the requirements uttered. The chef was equally enterprising and prepared great food. Had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed watching the Manchester City Vs New Castle over a drink in their cosy bar. Will definitely return whenever visiting Arusha again.
