Dear Guest, Thank you for staying at Arusha Safari Lodge and posting your comment. We are pleased to know you enjoyed our hospitality. Upgrade of our facilities is ongoing, although we do aim to retain the 'classic, colonial-style décor'. We stayed there for two nights, fully paid in advance. When we arrived, the manager acted like we didn't have a reservation at all, even though he later admitted that he in fact had a copy of the Jovago reservation, but just had figured that we probably we weren't coming because we arrived later in the evening. When we first... More

It`s outside the city; the factilies are not very new and a little bit ascethic; not very good variety of food on dinner set menu; big garden in good condition of all plants; the best is the staff - very nice and helpfull; it was interesting for us that there was a african wedding; but in the evening was noisy... Dear Elena, Thank you for staying with us and posting your feedback. Our lodge's main house (reception, lounge and restaurant) is from colonial times, the detached cottages were designed in the same style, as well as furniture and décor. The grounds and gardens are extensive, our large swimming pool is one of the 'centerpieces' of the main garden. We apologize... More

We stayed there on our first night on the continent, nice and quiet hotel, spacious bungalow, friendly staff. good place to relax from your flight from europe/us. however, as only three of the bungalows were used the night of our stay, the outside pavillion and seating area was not prepared which was a bit of a pity as it seemed... We stayed in the Safari Lodge after climbing Kilimanjaro and it was a perfect hotel for some rest and relaxation. The road leading to the lodge is very run down and leaves you wondering where you're heading. The stand out part of the lodge is the superb, clean and large swimming pool.
