The hotel is obvious when you know where it is, but initially I found it hard to find based on the nonsensical numbering of the buildings on the street. But I found it in the end. Taxi drivers always knew where it was. The room was comfortable (I had a double room to myself with a balcony) - not incredibly... More

We have stayed in a lot of hostels around the world and this has to be one of the most bizarre. When the staff were present, they were very friendly and did their best to help. The free breakfast was fantastic - cooked eggs, rice, pasta, salad, thick toast, tea and coffee, and Taylor Swift. They rent bicycles for a... More

Last week I visited kenting and chose to stay here for one night. The rate price was quite cheap compared to the other. The room was so so and quite small. The bathroom has a flooding and it was really annoying. But, the staff was really helpful. He also can speak english so well. The other plus was free breakfast.

We stayed at the BlueHi for three nights in total. The staff is very helpful and nice and gave us a map and good tips for exploring the area. The room is very clean and cosy with a little balcony. Breakfast was tasty and they even prepared special vegetarian breakfast choices. You need a scooter to explore the national park... More

i'm a simple kind of person when it comes to places to stay .Air- Conditioned, clean, comfortable bed . What more could you hope for at the price? I've never eaten a non terrible breakfast in a Taiwanese hotel and this was no exception . It's about 10 km from Kending ,but as I can use a map this was... More

Travelled to Taiwan, Pingtung, Hengchun from 12 - 15 Oct 2013. IN THE ENSUITE ROOM Okay, this should be the most important part. I loved the huge TV and the cupboard with full length glass mirror! I had a family room with 2 double beds. The bedroom was well-lit with at least 5 lamps! The air-conditioner was working very well.... More

The rooms are rent apartments in a very local neighborhood and building. There is no English sign outside but easily to find with the description of the owner. Rooms are well decorated with IKEA furnishing. The owner can even organize tours and scooter rental. Bus stop, supermarkets, restaurants and other shops are nearby. To get to the national park or... The no frills BlueHi Hostel is located about 5km from the coast in the very very windy town of Hengchun. The location is convenient to the Kenting-Kaohsiung transportation provided by the Kenting Express, and as with many places in Taiwan, very close to a 7-11. The dark and dreary lobby looks like that of an abandoned hospital and one of... More
