Grand Hi-Lai Hotel is the most often staying for me in Taiwan but I have almost no pictures...(;;. I think this hotel is the best in Kaohsiung. Room is large and clean and it give us the best service. There are 3~4 restaurants in the hotel and they offers good foods. Around this hotel, there are also many restaurants and... More

Stayed here during the recent typhoon. Accommodation was comfortable, well furnished, with views of the Love River. There's a mall located on the lower floors, convenient for shopping with a large food court. The breakfast offered many choices with both Asian and Western food.

This was the second overnight on a 4 night tour of Taiwan island. The hotel seems ideally located though my tour group arrived early evening and then left early thew next morning. Rooms spacious though a bit run down. Nice bathrooms. On the downside the mini sitting room with the plastic imitation grass for a floor covering was rather weird!... More

Hotel is at a great location with plenty of shops around it and its staffs are attentive and very helpful. The establishment badly needs more chairs and benches on its lobby. During my stay in late August 2016, I spotted just 1 bench fit for 2 persons. Several hotel guests were either made to stand around or sit on stairs.... More

I had visit Taiwan with my family. It was treat from my uncle and aunt so I had no clue as to what we were doing or where we were staying. Luckily for me, they had booked this place and I was absolutely blown away. The beds were soft (which was much needed after sleeping on a board like mattress);... More

Although this hotel is showing its age, the overall cleanness of the rooms and public areas are still very well maintained (still feel the same like 10 years ago). You will be guaranteed to have a killer view in every room, because all the rooms are located above 26th floor. The hotel buffet breakfast is a very well-known, and often... More

Nice hotel, a bit old by now but still good in terms of service and overall maintenance. Good location and convenient to get to other places, and also got a lot of different restaurants if you didn't want to dine outside. The price is reasonable as well.

The Hotel is located on top of a mall. It is very beautiful and the stuff is friendly and helpful and also speaks English. The breakfast buffet is big and offers everything from bread to soup and fish. Our room was on the 38th floor - we had a fantastic view. We also went to have lunch at the Hotel's... More

I visited Taiwan with 6 colleagues from London, Sydney and Los Angeles in May. There is simply no better hotel to stay in when in Kaohsiung. The service is second to none. I was unfortunate enough to be put in a suite adjacent to someone that was illegally smoking in their room. After one call to reception, they relocated me... More

A nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed except for the old TV and that mini TV in restroom that looks like it belongs in a museum. The service we recived from the front desk and the concierge were very good, polite and attentive. The breakfast buffet had a good mix of western and... More
