I spent many nights here, and kept returning after traveling around Taiwan. Very homely feel, comfortable surroundings. Cleaned everyday regardless of what was going on. Made many friends here, so I returned. Typical Taiwanese lady at reception, takes some time to get used to, but always means well. Very safe hostel, I was never worried about leaving my personal belongings... More

My own experience was a lot more positive, so it was probably just 1 very vocal group that didn't really enjoy their time there. The proprietor, 劉媽媽, was friendly... More

During my first backpacking trip in Taiwan Kaohsiung, happen to stumble upon this great hostel recommended by people in the forum. The location is easy to find, just a few minutes of walk from the metro station, nearby there is the shopping district. The room is exceptionally clean and cosy, great platform to know fellow backpackers and we even traveled... More

Close to main shopping district. The whole building itself is pretty clean. Easy going staff, very helpful. The facility is also amazing, large social area and living room, also a full function kitchen.

Take the red line and get off at san duo stop, exit 1. The hostel is literally round the corner from a metro stop, so easy to find. There is a big shopping complex near by, and a very famous, popular hot pot restaurant. It is safe, clean, with enough social space to hang out in. Free access to the... More

It is clean, safe, nicely decorated and comfortable. Free wifi, no breakfast, towels included. Joanna manages the place splendidly, but the star there is her mom, a friendly woman, for whom english is... More
