My boyfriend & I stayed there for a week during mid-November. The room was comfy as it was of adequate size, small but not cramped. As expected from a business hotel, we had a desk & writing materials. However, to go the extra mile for guests, they even provide a map & decent beverages. We had tea, coffee & 2...

We stayed 3 nights in this nice budget hotel during july 2011. If you don't mind sleeping in a refrigerator then this will be the perfect choice. Although this is a nice and clean hotel, you can't turn off the airconditioning. You can only move the cover of the slide upwards. That means that you can feel and hear the...

Here's the setting... In Kaohsiung on business. First time here. Don't speak a word of Chinese. Before doing a job I needed to find: lots of tarpaulin material, rain ponchos, large garbage bags, and a big spool of string. Between my iPhone (internet & photos), the staff's passable English, and an extremely aggressive hotel van driver, we found them all...

Absolutely fine. Room was clean and a bit on the small side but you should expect that in a business hotel. Very helpful staff who spoke good English. Hotel can be difficult to find first time round so worth getting a taxi there. There's a 7-11 convenience store nearby.

This was a great hotel. It is not as close to the subway as other alternatives, but it is an easy walk, or a cab ride away if you want. The rooms are decent size and clean but my favorite part of it was the staff. They were always willing to call a cab for us, write directions for us...

Great budget hotel. Good location, close to shops and transport. Old but clean. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Some shortcomings but for the price, no point complaining. Set your expectations to the price of the rooms and you would not be disappointed. I would stay at this hotel again should I ever return to Kaohsiung.

Location is 15 mins from Sanduo metro station, lined up with small business shops / offices thus not a tourist area. Staff are friendly & helpful. Free bicycles loan available. Budget rooms & breakfast's basic. Room has a small air conditioning outlet that's hotel central controlled so you cannot adjust high/low thus i won't recommend staying during summer. Showering hot...

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while visiting Kaohsiung & the surrounding areas. Location wise, it's not all that bad, situated about 5-10 minutes walk from the nearest KRT station. It's also near a major shopping area, if that's your thing. The KRT station is on the north-south line & is only a few stops from the major stations...

This was our first time in Kaohsiung and we booked this place online not knowing much about it or the area. We lucked out. The staff was extremely helpful. Most of them understood english and one gal in particular was very eager to help us find a place to eat and to arrange tours. We remarked that we wanted to...

We were looking for a hotel that was within our budget but not dirty or little space. We also wanted somewhere that would be easy for transportation throughout the city. Sanduo Hotel definitely met and exceeded our requirements. It is approximately 5 minutes walking to the MRT station, shopping centre, and night market. Not only were the staff friendly but...

“> Breakfast is buffet style: porridge and rice with four selections of veges, meat and egg, breads and buns with toasters and oven provided. Though simple, you can eat a lot, just don't waste food. > Take Exit 4 from MRT Sanduo, turn left and you will be at Sanduo 3rd Road. Turn right and walk 2 minutes you will see Sogo and then Shin Kong Department stores. Continue walking until you find post office on your right. Pass the post office and you will find the hotel opposite the road.”
