What I loved: 1. Super hospitable & helpful owners. The Auntie & Uncle didn't know how to speak in English but they really tried their best using Google Translate. Uncle drove me to a nearby restaurant so I can buy dinner. Uncle woke up before 6am in the morning to bring me to the train station for my departure! 2....

Yu's b&b is a real treat and a special find. Consisting of 3 wooden 'tepees' on a dragon fruit farm on the edge of Taroko national park it is a pretty unique place to stay. Your host Madame Yu speaks very little English but makes the most of her translator app on her phone and we were able to more...

Great hospitality. Unique location. You feel at peace just simply being there. Definitely will be back to do a proper Hualien / Taroko National park visit. ps: We had to opportunity experience minor tremors throughout the night. I guess this comes with the package. :)

The couple who runs the B&B are very helpful and friendly. offering free pick up from & to Xincheng train station and also Taroko National Park, which is not far away. You can enjoy the national park confidently with their detailed information. After a long day walking in the park, we were served with fruit and wine. It is just...

We stayed in one of the wooden cabins (extremely clean) and it felt like we were in a fairytale, surrounded by nature and spectacular views. The hosts are one of the friendliest couple we've ever met, they helped us organise our scooter tour around the gorge, gave us a plate of fresh fruit when we arrived late at night, and...

We took a train from Taipei to ShinCheng train station. We had spent a lot of time on the internet trying to find the best location for us since we planned on driving a scooter around Taroko Gorge. The day we took off, we booked a night in the cabin and did not know what to expect but only hoped...

We booked this hostel, perhaps foolishly, based on the one (positive) review we read here. Unfortuantely, we did not even end up staying here as it was completely impractical. It is in the middle of nowhere, even the local taxi driver didn't know the town, they had to call for directions. It is not at all practical for visiting Taroko...

Yu's B&B was one of the best B&B I have ever visited in Taiwan. Clean, great service and the location is perfect if you want to visit Taroko national park. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, a lot of information and suggestions for areas to visit. They also offered us the seasonal fruits from their own farm and local rice...
