We travelled down from Cingjing to Hualien and stayed for 2 nights. The house is very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the room (3rd level) that come with a loft and sunken tub. The tub is spacious and a great relieve for the body after travelling for a number of days. Bicycles are available for those who needs...

It was actually December 2014 that we travelled to Taiwan. I am back-dating to all my trips as I was not able to post review as frequent as before. 10 days Taiwan Trip (1x Night stay: Hualien) Tip: Bring Poncho/Raincoat as Taiwan in December can be quite rainy. It is frequent by light. So, it was bearable. Never underestimate the...

Stylish space that looks professionally designed with spacious airy rooms. Lots of interior details and super comfy (bed, pillows). Comes with great breakfast (add on I believe) and bath products. Located in a quite residential area (around 10 min to town and 30 min to the night market by walking) - just take a cab to these places, it's pretty...

We upgraded our quad room by paying extra NT400 per night to get the loft set-up and sunken bath. No regrets as room was spacious and designed with contemporary touches-teens would love it. Hostess placed emphasis on details as seen from toiletries to breakfast set. Breakfast portion may not be sufficient for growing teens. Free bike rental for everyone. Location...

My fiancé and me stayed in this lovely minsu for two nights. Rebecca and Mr Hong were very friendly, gave us lots of advice and tips on where to go and what to do in hualien. The minsu is located in a residential area, so it is quiet at night. They have readily available bicycles for tenants so we borrowed...

I really like this minsu. I stayed in the blue room with one double bed. The room was spacious and well designed. Everything was handy, for example, there was a lot of storage space, free wifi, a CD/DVD player and a TV. The bathroom was awesome. The artificial starry ceiling when the light was switched off was a bonus. I...

Rebecca and her husband were so helpful and nice to us during the two days we stayed there. She gave us a lot and very good information about what to do in Hualien and around, specially in Taroko, the clifts and both the coast and the East valley. They picked us up from the main station when we arrived and...

Our party of four checked in to the Villa Fontaine in the evening, having travelled all day – first, flying from our homebase country to Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport, then by bus to Taipei main station, and the straight-through final push by train to Hualien. A gentleman met us on arrival at Hualien train station and drove us to the...
