Great hotel with great restaurant! BONUS is the SPA! Spent 4 nights at the hotel. All meals at Salt are amazing which it is the Best little secret in town. The staff is dedicated to make your stay the best! They help me get medicines delivered at the hotel with no problem. The Spa is a amazing. I definitely recommend all their services.

As you enter through the doors you are greeted by very friendly receptionist Mohammed Fawzan, he is not friendly, but very efficient and accommodating. At the restaurant Raj Kumar, dressed in traditional sarong and shirt is quick to provide anything and everything and very friendly. The three member kitchen crew dishes out delicious Sri Lankan and western dishes. The rooms very eco friendly and clean as whistle. Everything in the room denotes a personal touch the amenities in bathroom are great (tooth paste, tooth brush, care kits) . The hotel's secret weapon is the spa located on the rooftop. Prices are great but only complain is the price of popular street food the "Kottu Roti" is expensive compared to other nearby places, if not this hidden gem along pot-holed streets of Negombo is great.

Modern Boutique at a reasonable price, great food and very professional staff sums up this small hotel complex which is hidden away from the beach strip but only about a 7 minute walk to the sea. The room we booked was clean, cool and spacious, with a large comfortable bed, coffee and tea making facilities, a fridge and a TV with a wide range of channels covering movies, news, documentaries etc in several languages. The shower pressure was also excellent. Our room had a little outdoor nook with a view over the surrounding yards, houses and gardens. You can't see the sea, but it's quiet and calm. The staff here are just lovely and very helpful - particularly Sandaru who is behind the reception desk at times and also serves at Salt, the hotel restaurant. We left something with the hotel and Sandaru made sure it was safely stored during our travels inland. We didn't eat dinner here (other reviews speak glowingly of Salt) but can certainly say that the Sri Lankan breakfasts were a knock out! One word about breakfast. Make sure you leave plenty of time to savour it - you can see the chefs cooking it in this open plan restaurant - but it does take time to prepare. Expect about a 20 minute wait from the time you sit down to the time you tuck into your roti and curry, bearing in mind that you'll have delicious fruit salad as a starter beforehand. We liked the vibe here so much that we came back for our final night in Sri Lanka before flying home to Australia. Negombo is very close to the airport and the hotel offer a free shuttle there which you can easily arrange. Would definitely come here again.

We stayed one night on arrival in Sri Lanka. Rooms were modern & very comfortable. They were thoughtfully set up with extra chairs & bathroom extras etc. The kitchen staff served us a beautiful breakfast The hotel runs cooking classes during the day as well. Conveniently located near the beach with only a short 5 minute walk. Highly recommended.

We were unsure at first because this little hotel is one street back from the coastal strip but we've just spent 3 happy days here. Each evening we go down to watch the sunset from a beach bar at the water's edge. We sampled a massage in the rooftop spa. Our bedroom has aircon and a lovely balcony overlooking lush green tropical trees. The restaurant Salt is a gem too with an open kitchen fully visible to diners in which the white hatted chefs are fastidious in producing delicious dishes. Staff v friendly and helpful with great attention to detail. There is also an arrangement that lets us use the pool at a beachside hotel nearby.

I had to stay at Terrance Green hotel for 14 days during my complete quarantine period .First impression ,air port picking and PCR done perfect manner with out any delay .Mr. Fowsan gave me a warm welcome and accompanied all my needs kindly and friendly manner until l departure. When entered in the the room I felt so relax and comfortable . I had a very good sleep due to comfort Bed and calm environment. I love to read books in the peaceful balcony . Also I experienced variety of delicious food with great service by Mr. Raj .Every day he served extraordinary food to the room with a friendly smile. Cleanness of the room can also be rated very high due to Mr. Lahiru 's effort .He cleaned the room daily in perfect manner. His service was extraordinary . I felt that all the members in this hotel share one goal which is to make their guests staying lovely and comfortable .Thanks to Mr.Sugath for making such a great caring about your customers .I really recommend this hotel for any one who would like to find a best hotel in Negombo .

We stayed at the Terrace Green Hotel and Spa twice. Both as we entered and left Sri Lanka. The hotel offers free airport transport which we were very happy with especially with our flights arriving and departing in the very early morning hours. They were punctual and made it an easy trip to and from the airport. The rooms were a good size, nicely decorated with good amenities. All of the staff were friendly and helpful on all accounts. We would highly recommend a stay here.

I had such a lovely stay at TGH as part of my quarantine process! Staff were so accommodating and kind. Their communication was excellent prior to making the booking and everything was arranged so smoothly, from airport pick up to PCR tests. Mohammed and Dilshan always had a welcoming smile on their face and took such care of their guests. I was invited down to the restaurant for some great live music on my first night there. The food at Salt was delicious as written about in my review there - though a small place, the open plan gave it such a fresh feel. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely peaceful balcony to relax for some reading. I would highly recommend TGH for anyone who needs a place to stay before going on to explore elsewhere in Sri Lanka.

We came to Sri Lanka as tourist for 2 months and we are staying at the TGH in Negombo during our quarantine. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with an ensuite bathroom and a private terrace. We are close to the airport and the beach. It is remarkably peaceful considering that Negombo is a city. Internet is available and works! The hotel manager Dishan is very professional, helpful and friendly - so is the rest of the staff. There is a rooftop terrace with spa, where we have been exercising, relaxing and even dining. The Spa with the massage specialist Dinithi was exceptionally good and worth every cent. We wrote a separate review for the hotels' excellent Salt restaurant. We could not have found a better place to spend our first 2 weeks in Sri Lanka.

We enjoyed staying in the Terrace Green very much, especially because of the very friendly staff. They were very helpful in arranging short trips and our transfer from the airport and towards our next location. My wife had her birthday during our stay and the team surprised us with a birthday card, a cake and special decoration at our favorite spot in the restaurant. This level of kindness puts some European 5***** hotels to shame, that I've stayed in!
Our room was very clean, the furniture was quite new and the (included) breakfast was a highlight, even compared to the other locations we stayed in Sri Lanka.
My wife also enjoyed the Spa and the massage very much.
It takes around 10 minutes to go to the beach and about 5 minutes to to downtown with a tuktuk. The only downside of the Terrace Green is the view that is not as nice as in other locations (it's far from being ugly - just nothing special).
