Wow, I can honestly say this is one of the BEST places I have ever stayed. Anton was amazing, great communication before and during the trip, so helpful, The room is huge, the decor is modern and the outdoor shower is such a little haven! The pool is pure bliss!!!! Bella the dog was adorable. The chef made the best breakfast every morning and helped us organise our trips, the TukTuk driver was so lovely and took us around and showed us beaches we didn’t know. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough! I will definitely be back. There are so many nice restaurants and beaches close by. Thank you Anton and to the good vibes villa family ❤️❤️

Good Vibes villa, does what is says on the tin. The vibe is relaxed, the property is set in what feels like a jungle, yet only 20-30mins by Tuk Tuk to Galle and closer to Unawatuna's relaxed bustle. The food on this trip was a little plain and not very Sri Lankan, however given the current situation with fuel etc it was completely understandable. It was lovely to meet the owners and their passion for the place shines through. Would recommend and would visit again.

Paradise is a concept, but if it was to be an establishment, then Good Vibes is as close as you can get to it. This gorgeous boutique hotel is lost in its natural environment, allowing you to get away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Everything is just right. Nothing is too showy or overwhelming, from the secluded villa in which we stayed to the personnel who are there if you need them but aren’t constantly asking you if you need help. And this is where I think the owners got it just right: Good Vibes is a place for those travelers who want to experience privacy in style but can also feel the vibrant local culture if they feel like it. According to their vibe. A good vibe.

It’s the second time I go to good vibes and I was very disappointed! The place is beautiful and surrounded by nature appart from the mosquitoes in the evening and the flies. The service is terrible, lack of people working and almost no one speaks English, very difficult to communicate. The staff was exhausted, the room haven’t been cleaned once in a week! This is unacceptable! Same for the garbage and I needed to ask to have new towels. The outdoor furnitures were so dirty. I cleaned them with a towels and it was black! The breakfast is really poor, cheap bread with eggs every day. The dinner is under expectation for the price and repetitive. Too spicy and not even a can of tomato sauce in the kitchen for pasta for the kids. They don’t have a dishwasher and the dishes are not clean. More than one hour before eating. The pool was dirty. The price for the night is a away too expensive for the services.…

Dear Rachel, We understand your frustration caused by the quarantine at Good Vibes Villas when you all got tested positive after a week of holiday. But we also believe that your first week went really well as you told us during your stay that everybody was so happy. Regarding your negative feedbacks, we checked internally as it is a matter of concerns for us. You complain about the breakfast. However we served you not only eggs but also pancakes for the kids, juices, fresh fruit platters, hoppers, waffles, porridge, etc,… We usually change the offers for long term stays. You don’t seem happy with the meals although they were varied (tuna, BBQ, curry, pasta,…) but you are right with the fact that the kitchen was a bit slow that week. We actually we missed our helper so the chef was alone to serve more than 20 people. We hoped that you would understand the situation the same way the other guests did (who scored Good Vibes very positively on booking com for the same week). On the housekeeping remark, we also believe that the rooms were cleaned every day until your family was tested positive and you had to quarantine. We apologize for the pool as the pomp was damaged and we only received the new one this week. We really did our best to accommodate your family the best way we could during your quarantine. We moved your family to a private villa so that you could at least enjoy the terrace and a private garden. We provided you with a table for your family dinners and even took care of the medicine that were needed for your father. I’m sorry if this all was not enough to satisfy your needs. At Good Vibes Villas, we have a dedicated staff happy to please our guests and we try to have this special relationship with our visitors. "Good Vibes", this guesthouse could not have a better name! Ideal location, beautiful rooms, restaurant and property. Lovely hosts and crew. Excellent food. It is the second time we come to this beautiful place with a group of friends (including small kids 5-6y and teenagers 14-16y) and we all had a blast! A true gem in the nature closed to everything. The add-on to this season : go check the same owner's beach place (Cool Vibes Beach House) for the best surf spot and sunset drinks.

Today is the last day of our stay and we already miss everyone who works at villas and our room. It was so comfortable and also so sweet. Food was really the best and Kasun and Imesh cared about us sooo much. We are sooo happy every day. It’s because of good vibes villas made this miracle happen to us. Thank you so so much for let us stay at you villa. It was just amazing that’s the only thing we could say even we stayed for quarantine it was like heaven.

It definitely is a place to fill you up with good vibes. It's an ideal place especially if you want to be away from crowds as there are 3 separate sections. If you book one whole villa which can accomodate around 20 people, you are away from the other guests. Only problem is there's only one pool. We wish they would have anotje near other vilkas as it's built on an 8 acre land. Luckily for us we were the only ones using it that day. The ambience is breathtaking especially at night. If one is looking to be away from the hustle of the town, this is the ideal place. We spent two night of total relaxation there. The service ( given by 5 gents) was commendable. They tried their best to cater to our needs. Their local cuisine is the best, plus their welcome drink ( කුරුම්බා /young coconut juice) The rooms were quite spacious and comfy. It's a place that provides you with all luxury with a very local touch.…
