This is the cheapest hostel in the city, but you get the bare minimum. The owner is away and his old Mum is trying to cope. The kitchen is tiny with only one hotplate. The "lounge" is old with ancient filthy pillows. The "garden" is storage for garbage and all manner of off furniture, and the upstairs "deck" is dusty,... More

We booked a few days before, and with the price we didn't expect much. After a very short walk from the bus terminal. We rocked up early afternoon greeted by a very friendly Mr Kwon (his English is very good), map at the ready he showed us the nearby sights to go to in the 1 day we were there.... More

This place is soooo expensive for the quality of stay and service!!! NO amenities! $45/night for a stay in a double riddled with ants... Run away from this place. You don't even need to run far.. This area is teeming with hotels, many of which run in the &40-50 price range and have all the amenities in room! Hanjin offered... More

I found this hostel on Wikitravel and decided to give it a try when I took a trip to Gyeongju. The hostel located very near the Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal and Gyeongju Inter-city Bus Terminal. From the Express Bus Terminal, you just have to turn left into the alley between A Twosome Place and McDonald's, and walk for about 5... More

Stayed here two nights at August. This hostel is quite old, I think it was started in the 70's. You can surely see that as there has been zero renovation since that. Owner was nice guy and can give plenty of tips etc about the area. His English is also very good so in that sense this place is a... More

I stayed two nights. It was really quiet and off the main road. It's close to the bus terminals though. The lady at the desk spoke good English and was quite helpful and showed me a map of places she recommended. The room was OK. I had a private room, 25,000 won/night. Some hair on the bed, some mosquitos found... More

The location is great - 2 minutes to the Express Bus Station and Intercity-city Bus Station, 5 minutes to the Supermrket and old market, almost by the river and 10 minutes to the nearest tourist attractions. The property is a 2-storey old building at the small alley suround by Korean food outlets and convenience stores. The host can speak very... More

Maybe the hostel isn't the best if you talk about accomodation, but any way its good enough and no problems so far. The reason why its worth 5 stars, is the very informative and friendly owner who will tell and show you everything you want to know. Thats something really handy when you are in this town;)

The lady on arrival spoke good English and was very helpful, providing a map and showing all the sights and transport requirements for each attraction. The room however was dirty, hair everywhere, walls, sheets and floor. The sheets were like paper and were also dirty, as was the bathroom. The water pressure is poor so if you are washing long... We stayed here for two nights in August 2013 and there are Pros and Cons to this place: Pros: - There's a reliable and fast WiFi connection (worked in our room, don't know if all rooms are covered) - All rooms are airconditioned - something that appears to be important in Gyeongju in Summer! - The (friendly) owner speaks decent...
