We stayed here as a family for one night during early October 2019.

The hotel is in a prime location, with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby, and the Lotte Duty Free store right next door.

We stayed in a Family Twin Room (mountain view), which was average sized, but sufficient for a short stay. Parking was also complimentary for our car hired from the airport.

The rooftop pool had good city and airport views. However, it was quite windy and a bit too cool, so we didn't end up swimming there.

Front desk staff was helpful, albeit with some slight communication challenges in English, but we did not experience any issues. They also proactively helped us completed the tax refund which was very generous.

A nice short stay for our first Jeju trip last year.

A huge and not very new hotel. Everywhere is clean. Near the reception there is a small cafe with coffee/tea, snacks, etc.

A free shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the airport every day until 12:00. Last move at 12:00. If your flight is late in the evening/night, you will have to either leave earlier with a shuttle bus or take a paid taxi.

The staff is friendly and responsive, they will help and answer any questions if they know.

On the ground floor there is an entrance to duty-free shops, so if you need to buy something duty-free, this is the place for you, of course, if you provide your flight tickets and your international passport. Mostly there are cosmetics, but there is also jewelry and some clothes and bags.

The hotel has a swimming pool (for a fee even for residents), it is open-air, heated and there is a jacuzzi.

The hotel also has a small room where you can wash, dry and iron your clothes yourself. Washing and drying service is paid. Nearby there is an exchanger for change and the purchase of tokens for washing. There is also a machine with gel for washing clothes. Equipment for snacks and water, TV, small table and chairs.

The hotel also has a gym with exercise equipment.

Breakfast: quite varied, large, tasty and filling. The cutlery and dishes are clean. There is a wonderful view from the panoramic windows.

Room: comfortable and quite spacious. Nice view from the window. Huge comfortable bed, pillows and soft blanket, nice and warm to sleep. There is a workplace near the window. The bathroom has a bathtub, bathrobe and shower amenities. The towels are soft and pleasant.

We stayed 4 nights, and the value was apparent compared to other Lotte hotels. The corner room was large compared to the Lotte Hotel Busan. The breakfast was just wonderful with custom noodle soup, dim sum, and so many other items that 4 breakfasts were not very repetitive. The staff was attentive and helpful. The concierge service is on the ground level, while the lobby is on the fourth floor. In between are floors for Duty Free store.
There aren't many relevant tourist-related shops and restos nearby. I liked Mega Coffee and Red Bean Bakery. The clerk at Paris Baguette was aloof and unhelpful. Restos outside of the hotel are at least 10 min away. The fabulous seafood buffet at Samdajeong was amazing but difficult to find (Maison Glad Hotel).
In general, we had a nice stay, and the island of Jeju is a must.

We stayed at this hotel in Jeju island because of its central location . That was the good outcome of staying at this hotel for 4 nights as it provided a central base to visit Jeju Island .

Other then that , the hotel is considered rather basic for a 4 star hotel - they have removed free toothbrush/ tooth paste / razor blades supposedly to be more sustainable but to me, it was just cost saving as they also seem to remove some of the light bulbs in the light fixtures as well resulting in a much dinner room . Don’t think it is being sustainable but just cutting on costs. They even limited the water bottles to 2 a day and if asked for additional water bottles , they will not fulfill that request as they mentioned that each guest room only gets 2 bottles a day - and be happy with that or else !

Don’t bother ordering or including the breakfast as it is expensive and completely unworthy it with very basic dishes and fruit juices that are just cordial and coffee that only produces americano coffee .

Won’t be using this hotel should I return to Jeju as it is not a good value hotel .

As such I

The staff were polite and professional. The room was spotlessly clean. There was a small fridge inside a cupboard - did not work well. Complimentary tea/coffee the most limited I have ever seen. A couple of sachets of instant coffee

The room didn't have hot water. I wasted a couple of hours upon arrival to change rooms. The front desk were polite but simply didn't believe me at first. There was the same situation with the fridge and unacceptable tea/coffee with the new room.

There is basement parking if you have a hire car and an outside pool. However, the hotel had limited facilities. The top floor restaurant is open for breakfast for 19,000 won person ($17 USD). It was OK. Then it is only open again in the evening up to 10pm as a bar serving drinks and snack type food. There is nowhere to relax in the hotel or get a cup of coffee in the daytime.

The hotel is located in a busy urban area with nothing to see or do and traffic is congested at peak times.
I would recommend staying at one of the many hotels on the sea front in Geonip-dong area of Jeju city. Many restaurants - famous 삼겹살 pork barbecue street & Sashimi seafood street. Relaxed and comfortable for the tourist visitor.

In summary, staying at the hotel feels like you are in a business meeting. The staff were polite and the hotel is very clean. But I do not recommend staying there as a tourist. It was my choice this time to stay there and I don't think the hotel is at fault; it's just the type of hotel it is.

The location of this hotel was great (close to the airport and a quick walk to shops) and the room was nice and big. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom amenities are great and free water bottles, tea, coffee are provided. We stayed four days and there were a few small things that were annoying (there's no good outlet near the table to plug in the kettle, there's no clock in the room, the chairs are so heavy it's impossible to move them out of the way), but all in all, everything was good.

NOTE: The pool/hot tub photos are deceiving. It looks nice and big on their website but it's actually small and rundown, and there is no place to put your towels etc. You just have to throw all your stuff on the floor. There are no chairs or loungers to sit and relax. It's like they don't expect people to actually use the pool...

I am staying here with 3 family members for 4 nights and we are very happy with friendly and helpful staff at the reception, housekeeping department and at the restaurant on the top floor.

We were very surprised to find out that this hotel don't allow their guests to use their outdoor swimming pool for free but charging their guests instead which is quite greedy, ridiculous, unbelievable and unreasonable!

But I was extremely impressed with the Manager at their Front Desk called Michelle (MK) Yoo.

We have been to a nearby hotel for a short trip today by taxi due to very hot weather.

Their friendly staff had helped us call a taxi due to Uber not working for some reason.

The fare going there was KRW5400 with an extra KRW1000 added on for some reason and the fare coming back was KRW4500.

I went to the front desk to ask if that KRW1000 was the commission paid to this hotel for calling a taxi for us. Michelle said it was not and that extra KRW1000 was the extra fee charged by the taxi company.

I said their staff on the groud floor should have told me in advance that extra KRW1000 would be added on my bill before ringing the taxi company and asked me if I would mind paying for it or not. Then I would be given an opportunity to say yes or no.

But that staff didn't tell me anything in advance having caused me to pay an extra KRW1000 unnecessarily. I felt I was tricked to pay this extra KRW1000 which was not fair to me at all.

I had the right to know about this extra payment in advance as it was hotel staff's duty to do so without misleading any guests on this matter.

Michelle was very understanding and considerate. She said that she would train her staff to tell future guests this information in advance.

I was extremely grateful to Michelle for understanding my point of view because it was not about money but about principle.

Thank you so much for your professionalism Michelle.

All the very best to you for everything.

We stayed 3 nights at the Lotte Hotel in Jeju, triple room with a partial view of the airport and ocean.
The hotel is located at 15 min by bus from the airport, which is very convenient.
It is above of a duty free mall, so lots of tourists. It was very crowded and noisy during our stay.
The room was comfy and clean with big windows.
We had breakfast which was quite expensive for what it was : the food was average, same food every morning.
There is a pool that it is not free and to which you can access to at only certain time. I stayed in many hotels and this is the first time we have to pay to access the pool...

Four nights in standard twin room. Room size is spacious. Beds are comfortable but pillows were too soft. The hotel offers discounted breakfast rate when you purchase from front desk. Hotel also provides free airport shuttle in the morning on first come first serve basis. Hotel location is pretty quiet and there are many eateries and cafes nearby.

Stayed here in Sep 2024 at the end of a Jeju island trip. I was staying in an Airbnb with friends for most of the visit but moved here before an early morning flight.

The hotel is located downtown, very close to the airport (5 min drive). The building has a duty free mall on the lower floors, which must be popular with international tourists from China/etc…

The checkin was quick. The room was large and comfortable. Most rooms have a view of Mt Hallasan…and so did mine. Overall, a very comfortable, if brief, stay.

WiFi worked well. Bed provided good sleep. Bathroom was spacious. I didn’t find the Refrigerator with complimentary water till later, but there are several convenience stores nearby.

I stepped out in the evening for a walk and a meal, and found several restaurants and shops nearby.

The hotel allots slots for use of the pool, which I found a bit strange…but maybe that helps to prevent crowding.

Quick checkout In the morning and off to the airport in no time.

First, they do not have airport pick up service. They only have a Shuttle bus 4 times a day. From Airport To Hotel : 10:00am, 12:00, 15:00, 17:00pm (at parking lot C10) From Hotel To Airport : 09:00, 11:00am, 14:00, 16:00pm If this doesn't fit your sched, taking a taxi is cheap because it's near the airport.

Looks like jeju is in the opposite side of the island than the dive place/shop you mentioned. Maybe you can have a look at the city of Seogwipo.
