I travel throughout the US on a regular basis (70 plus nights a year). We needed temp housing between house closings and chose this based on proximity to my office and hotel's pet policy. Needed 3 weeks and took a prepayment discount to book the room. Now stuck in an amazingly poorly run hotel. How can Extended Stay allow this... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. I apologize that you were not satisfied by our accommodations during your visit with us. As well, I am sorry to hear that your dishes were not delivered to your room after several requests. I will be meeting with our staff to review your comments and to... More

This is a disgusting hotel. The room was filthy and we refused to stay here. It's one of those places that makes you feel dirty and itchy when you leave. The smells getting to the room were bad enough but once there we knew we weren't staying. In the bed side table there was a yellowed, crusty face cloth that... More

Thank god I stayed only for one night at this hotel. Rooms are badly lit, comforters looks like try haven't been washed since purchase, bathroom is small and very poorly done, air conditioning was loud. But the worst part was the beds and pillows, which I presume are filled with plastic shavings. Oh and don't buy into the free breakfast... More

Hotwire put me here - their 2-1/2 star hotels include Clarion, Quality Inn, etc. I stay in those hotels ALL of the time and am very pleased. Simply put, ESA-Albany does not belong in this category. Room smelled (dogs, maybe), refrigerator had an old carton of milk and some bread from the previous occupant (plus lots of mold and dirty... More

Obviously having staffing issues which affects ability to provide timely service at check-in, overall cleanliness of facility, repair/maintenance issues. Kitchenette provided but you have to ask for utensils, plates/cups/silverware, cookware and hope they are delivered at check-in and not the next day. I have stayed at other Extended Stay hotels with a much better experience. At nearly the same price,... More

This hotel is one of the worst that I have ever stayed at. It looks like a cheap motel inside. The girl working at the front desk was rude and unpleasant . The hallways are so dark and dingy and have a musty odor. The first room I was put in stunk like curry and cigarettes and I asked to... More

We were visiting our son, who lives in Ballston Spa (Navy). There were barely any vacancies in the Ballston Spa/Saratoga area, and rooms that were available were running several hundred dollars, so we decided to stay in the Albany area. The pros: right across from SUNY, nice walking/jogging around the college, firm bed, full size frig/kitchenette items if you wanted... More

Fully equipped kitchens? Coffee maker in room? I get the sense that this is the kind of neighborhood where, if you don't bolt things to the wall, they walk away. The curtains are falling off the wall, the linens are shabby, the kitchen cupboards are bare, no coffee maker. Rude front desk attendant has no clue about customer service. Yuck!!

There was one guy on, when we checked in, doing everything. He was getting pots and pans for another guest when we got there. The phone was ringing, he had to check us in. Seemed like he could have used help. We were supposed to be in a non-smoking room but the 1st one smelled awful! The clerk got us... More
