Good: Bar+restaurant staff ware amazing very professional , mannerly , Could not pick favourites as all of the Bar/Restaurant Team were just great , make you feel welcome every morning and evening for dinner. Always friendly and chatty, it almost feels like you are staying with friends. Bar cocktails might be a little pricey but worth it, great quality and picture worthy. Views from the rooms and pool area are amazing, great spot to switch off. The Dinner was good tasted good , themed buffet nights ( just a little repetitive sometimes ) it’s 42€ per person or if you go half board during your stay it’s 30€ per person . Also all prices in the bar and restaurant are in rupees but your billed in euro. We went to the Spa for a couples massage , nice Spa , AC and lovely girls from Bali really nice , and the champagne in the jacuzzi afterwards is a nice touch , Ludovik the Manager was extremely helpful , professional , knowledgable and understanding from the very first time we met him and even with the other guests he looks out for everyone to make sure everything is good and satisfactory, he really turned around our stay ! Thank you Ludovik and all of the Team ! Bad: Reception Check-in & overall are very vague and almost lazy or uninterested , always in their personal phone without any care , on check in we had asked about local excursions and trips and things in the area and they didn’t know anything , they had all but one poster for a jungle tour and couldn’t tell me even anything about it , asked can we charge the spa treatments to the room and was told yes even though you actually have to pay the spa directly ?? also didn’t offer us the half board option so we could have dinner every night at a discounted rate . ( the manager later fixed this for the rest of our stay after 3 nights but couldn’t correct the previous nights ) we dealt with him each time after this as he was very helpful , check out - they didn’t even ask how everything was just gave a piece of paper to rate our stay , basically payed and that was it , I had misplaced my key at breakfast and couldn’t find it and no one had found it and was charged 50€ for a new one ( 50€ for a key !!!) Breakfast was mediocre for such a place you’d expect a lot better , and dinner while it was always nice it was very repetitive so after one week you’d be bored and the problem is there is nothing else in the area. Lunch - don’t even bother . Frozen pizza will cost you 20€ and a toasted sandwich is 17€ , the salads would probably be the best and only other option , there’s no snacks available at all , no entertainment at all and bar is closed at 10pm but originally was closed at 9pm until we mentioned to the manager that in the guest handbook says 10pm (which is still early ) .

We stayed in this hotel at the end of our vacations on the Seychelles. The Hotel is wonderful, the hotel-team is really nice, the room are amazing and really very very big (we stayed in the Family Villa). The pool is really beautiful and the restaurant too. Moreover we ate really really well, the food was mixed and was really tasty. We also went to the gym, which is very well equipped and clean. The beach is 10 min by foot and it's also really beautiful. The only "problem" (wasn't a problem for us, but may be for old people) is that the hotel is on a hill and sometime is tiring to go up...however the hotel has small cars that can drive you almost everywhere, so in the case you cannot walk a lot, ask to them and they will surely help you.

The beach can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes. Where the return route is very steep uphill. The entire area is beautifully located on the mountainside overlooking the entire bay. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning, fridge, television and a large balcony. For breakfast you go uphill / downhill - but the buffet is very good. Dinner is also buffet style - a bit pricey. There are 2 pools which are small but nice. We did not use the spa area - but looks very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bath towels should be changed in the morning - because from 10 o'clock there are no more.

As a small independent hotel this does not have the 'extras' of a five star - which is why we chose it. i had hoped for a more intimate experience than the anonymous five stars which abound on Mahe - and I was not disappointed. By the time we left i felt i could describe the 'staff' as friends - and I look forward to seeing them again next year! Other reviews outline the vertiginous aspect - which leads to fabulous views and the simple but pretty restaurant serving varied buffets. My only complaint was the music system that belts out deep bass tones - but then I had quite a laugh with Stefan as he tried to sort it! Ravish has excellent client service skills - but then all the staff were superb. The new ocean view rooms are beautifully designed - we had the older pool villa which gave a little extra privacy - which we loved. This is a low key, quality resort offering excellent service in a beautiful environment. The family presence is key to the overall standard and i commend them for this - and the artist ( I did buy a lithograph - fab! ) .

I really don’t know why there are some bad reviews and unjustified low rating for this resort. The staff here were so nice and helpful. The resort offers a luxurious atmosphere, with infinity pool, sundecks, and gorgeous views of the ocean. There are a 3+ stars rooms ( with old dated furniture, but stil ok , very clean, with kitchinett) and 4+ stars rooms( ocean view suites are renovates, very nice furniture and terace with sunbed, bath beautiful designed with window with sea view) . The pool is amazing!!! Is Situated on the top with breathtaking view , with rocks and palms and restaurant nearby! The beach is just a few minutes’ walk away Is worth to go to Vslmer resort if you have a car!
