We had such a relaxing time for 4 nights, the villa feels immediately like a home. We understood why many people coming there were regular, this sense of family is rarely found anywhere else. You have the interesting chats with everybody in the house, the most exquisite continental and Seychellois food (the octopus and the prawn curries were our favourites) and the beach just a few meters in front of the house. Plus: the passionate discussions over food you get from Chef Bernard, the fantastic G&T served by Sushil and the warm hospitality of Don and Marylène.

Absolutely great! A villa in colonial style at the seaside. Hospitality is incredible! If you prefer the buffet at breakfast like in chain hotels it’s not for you. Here you are served at breakfast :) The treatment is very much personalized. Staff are always nearby and ready to help, you just have to raise your eyes and they are here. The dinner here is something special. You choose you menu by afternoon because then they go buy fresh ingredients to cook you dish. The chef could be demanded at the best restaurants in Paris or London! Absolutely sweet owners who are always nearby as well. I was staying here while on business trip but if you want to spend wonderful time at SEZ on vacation it’s your place. I would come heard fore a honeymoon if I was not too old to marry again :)

We could not have asked for more. My (now) wife and I came and stayed with Marylene and Don at Le Bonheur for two weeks in December 2020. We came back to get married here a week later and then returned again at the beginning of January '21. I think that says it all. This place feels like a home away from home. Every time we return to Mahé we will return to Le Bonheur. Marylene and Don could not be kinder and more generous. Bernard is an incredible chef who makes the best food we have eaten in Seychelles. The staff are highly attentive go out of their way to cater to your every need. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, and the facilities are excellent. Marylene went to incredible lengths to ensure that our marriage was beautiful and memorable, and, thanks to her, it really was. I can’t say enough good things about our stays here and the care and kindness we have been afforded each time. As I say, we could not have asked for more.

We stayed at the property for 2 nights whilst exploring Mahe, prior to moving to another island. The experience overall was outstanding! Communication prior to our trip was prompt and informative. We opted to have a transfer from airport to the villa and although comparatively a little on the expensive side (transfer 40 euro), it was worth it for the lack of hassle. We were met by Bernard who was really friendly and informative regarding the island and the amenities around us. It is slightly off season so we had the villa to ourselves, kindly being upgraded to the biggest room overlooking the pool. The service was second to none and the villa was beautiful. The room and other areas of the property were spotless and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We opted for dinner at the villa the first night, cooked by Bernard. The fish with Passion fruit sauce is the best fish dish we have ever had (considering Mrs Nomad doesn't even like fish and she loved it!) and highly recommend it for a treat. The villa was opposite the beach (10 - 15 meters away!) which was equally as stunning - our first taste of paradise this country has to offer! It was so nice to lay in bed and listen to the ocean! The villa has it's own pool which was clean and a nice place to relax. Bernard was kind enough to arrange a hire car for us (reasonable price of 45 euro per day) which enabled us to explore the island. Again, Bernard's knowledge proved useful with his recommendations of places to see and things to do. Overall, a great experience and lovely property!!

Mid of November I stay at the "Le Bonheur Villa" for 10 nights with my Friends from Germany, Billy, Jessi and little Marie. I enjoyed the warm welcome and hospitality of Marlene and Don and for sure Bernard . All of them take so much care for the well-being and comfort of their guest, and offer incredible help and guidance for the planning of the stay on the various islands and great insights in the Do's and Don'ts. The rooms are spacious, nice and clean, the house itself is cozy and offers all comfort. Breakfast and dinner (if wished) is served on a nice terrace and the food is among the best on the islands, thanks to Bernard . I would definitely visit this place again in February 2020 and can only recommend it to people who look for something special. The served dinners were outstanding and the cooking skills of her son Bernard made every evening special. I know that this review is filled with superlatives. I have traveled a lot, but the Villa Le Bonheur is just outstanding. Special thanks to the Staff there, Patrick , Sushi ( don’t know if I wrote the Name right) and his Wife from Nepal and all the other friendly people 😊 All of them make you feel as if you belong to the family. Thanks for everything Mr. T. 😉
