What a great place for a relaxing holiday, beautiful rooms, good food, beaches and pools. Five restaurants to choose from with amazing food, great service, wine selections and came back 4kg heavier. We were hesitant as it is perceived as a big hotel but it is well designed to have different areas and has so much space you dont notice. I would recommend booking the restaurants before you go which we did, they are flexible on changing we tried them all and each was different with great food, especially as I am gluten free which they understood and had lots of options, including GF pancakes in the morning. We were in a senior suite for the first part of the holiday and the last two days in a Hillside villa which was Wow! I loved being on that side of the island (north) as we had an intimate breakfast at Seselwa rather than the main buffet restaurant and i preferred the beach on this side. The Spa was fabulous and I had three massages in a week. Big thank you to all the staff but a special mention to Manuel the F&B Director who checked in every day to see how we were and the lovely Yogi who looked after us throughout our stay and went over and above to ensure we had a great time. We will be back.…
We were there during our honeymoon. The hospitality was more then warm and the entire staff worked to accommodate all our requests. At the arrival a staff member was dedicated to us so that we had a unique interface for everything. That practice made all extremely easy. The balance between the number of guests and the capacity of the structure is great. Even if the resort was fully booked we had no problem to find a table at the restaurant, a place on the SPA or a sun deck available. That made the experience totally relaxing If you visit the Ephelia I wish you to be assigned to Ms. Yogi S. who’s the best staff member you can get as reference person. She took care of us in every moment. To explain how much she is supportive I have to say that she took care of us also during her day off. To summarize: visiting Ephelia will increase dramatically the level of your experience at Seychelles.…
The service and food was up to standards.Would recommend.😀 Everything ranging from the service delivery of the service staff to that of the Chefs were perfect. The ambience of the restaurant is ideal for a lazy Sunday.
Thank u for amazing week in Seychelles-Constance Ephelia was the perfect place to be! The best vaction ever!! The food in Ephelia was so good, the service was amazing!! We will come back soon, that for sure!! Thank u ❤️❤️❤️🌴☀️🌸
We've just returned from 2 weeks at Constance Ephelia and what a superb stay in was. From the moment our taxi arrived at the gates of the property, Mr Tembi the security guard greeted us with the most amazing smile and made us feel so welcome, we've never had such a greeting in any of the hotels we'd been in. It's a little thing but meant so much. The hotel itself is lovely, low rise bungallows amongst lush vegetation. We stayed at a senior suite on the north side and it was just perfect, the room was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean (thank you Frederick for doing such an amazing job), the only (small) gripe was the lighting in our room/bathroom could have been better but please take that as constructive feedback rather than criticism. The gardens are beautiful and immaculate and the beaches simply stunning, we stayed at the north beach most of the time but also walked the trails to a couple of deserted beaches only reached by foot, what a find! We were the only people there and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Even the north beach was never crowded and was completely empty at times (especially the mornings) - considering the south beach was closed the entire time we were there (bad weather) we could not believe how special and empty it felt. The people are very friendly and professional, we'd like to thank every single one of the staff for making us feel so welcome. The level of service really is exceptional and all our requests were promptly followed up to make sure we received what we asked for. The food was really good, we tried all of the restaurants and particularly liked lunches at Seselwa and Helios (the friendliest chefs ever! Yagoo kept saying to us he was there to feed us well and boy did he deliver, we're all on diet now back home). We loved dinners at Adam and Eve, the setting at Cyann was truly exceptional but Corosol was good too with good choice of dishes and all very tasty. We went full board and thank goodness for that as the prices are very steep, last day we had to pay for lunch and it worked out £115 for 3 burgers, tap water (albeit filtered) and 2 coffees. The drinks are also very expensive, a small glass of wine (150ml) around £13 (and that's not the expensive wine) while soft drinks are £5. We were told that's on par with other Seychelles hotels as a lot of the stuff is imported. We had ample filtered water in our room, we were worried as some of the reviews mention water being rationed but that was simply not the case. We didn't use the spa although the facilities looked great. We used the fitness centre and that was very good, it's not big but it's well equipped and we never had to wait for anything. The pool at the fitness centre was fabulous for doing lenghts. Tennis courts were great and the free of charge equipment of good quality. We used some of the equipment provided by the boathouse, we tried snorkelling a few times but the sea was never clear enough, I think it's probably due to the bad weather they were having prior (and during some of the time) we were there. We also went on a few hikes organised by the hotel, to the local waterfall (highly recommend the hike + a dip in the lake there), the nature trail and (our favourite) the mangroves walk and talk. Hillary was so passionate about the mangroves and the conservation work they're doing as well as knowledgable about the mangroves, we learnt a lot. (Hint for the hotel - please offer more tours like that where we get to learn more about the local flora/fauna (the fruit bats are incredible flying in broad daylight!) or perhaps more info about how the plants are traditionally used by the locals/local customs). We also spent a day exploring the island using Mason's travel agency and that was great, the mountains are simply stunning and the capital, Victoria, small but interesting. All in all, what a fabulous place Seychelles is and what a gem of a hotel we chose to stay in. Thank you everyone at Constance Ephelia for a very memorable holiday.…
We arrived the resort and it was tremendously beautiful. Our holiday was perfect. In the beginning, the weather didn't play it right for us but the hotel services and staff made this a breeze. The team and hotel staff are super nice and do everything they can to make your vacation smooth and enjoyable. I want to personally thank Lalu from the reception who made our holiday even more special and was available for anything we needed. Lalu tackled and helped with any request we had which turned our stay into real magic. We'll come back for sure
We debated between the Savoy and Constance Ephelia. During our stay, we visited both and are so glad we stayed at the Ephelia. It felt exotic and never crowded. We had a Junior Suite on the north side, and we enjoyed walking out into the sea during low tide. There was a little wind, but we liked the north beach better than the south beach. The food, including the buffet, was very good. We used Allen Esperon for the airport transfer and for a tour around Mahe, and he was a superb guide.
Recently visited the property for 5 nights.I would like to thank Lalu (assistant manager at the guest relations ) for his warm hospitality and friendly behavior towards us.He was very welcoming and caring towards us.Property on its own is very amazing, clean and well taken care by the house keeping department (Kudos to the house keeping team to maintain the big property in such a clean way). A lot needs to be paid attention when it comes for the food, rarely the soup was hot ,not great options for dinning though when it comes for the buffet options.
It was my first time in Seychelles And I love the way I was treated. Thank you Valentino for attending all our request and going beyond your duty to serve at the best. Thank you so much for your service I couldn’t ask for more and many thanks to all the staff.😍 I can’t wait to come back soon.
We stayed at the Constance Ephelia at the end of June for 10 nights. There were high expectations - our first beach holiday since the Maldives pre-pandemic. Before we departed, we were able to book a number of different activities via the Online Concierge, including the airport transfers. Emails were answered quickly and it was a relief to have certain things planned in advance. We were able to make a reservation in Cyann, book massages and also book a special private aperitif on the helipad. After a long trip from London, the airport transfer was there as planned and we were greeted by the charismatic James. While the room was not quite ready (our flights landed first thing) the hotel had made provision for a breakfast and a comfortable place to sit. We didn't have to wait long before we were taken to our Junior Suite. The Suite was large and comfortable for the pair of us, and we had a good briefing from Yogi and Goodwick. They made sure we had an ironing board, but also there were some lovely touches. We arrived on my birthday and Mehboob (our housekeeper for our stay) had arranged a lovely birthday display. He made sure our room was tidy and refreshed throughout, and also arranged an assortment of towel animals. While the weather was not at its greatest we did find the time passed by quickly: - The pool was always quiet, there are several to chose from so you never felt crowded - The gym facilities were really good - Ashley and the staff there are really helpful - We did a couple of excursions - a bike ride (again Ashley was really patient with me and a good laugh as we toured the nearby village) - We went to see a waterfall and learnt about the mangroves. So the waterfall walk, wear trainers and it is quite a tough walk with lots of climbing. Also MOSQUITOES on the mangrove walk so spray! - I did a couple of gym classes and yoga - Elizabeth was a great instructor -had some treatments in the spa - can recommend the aryuvedic massage - the beaches were lovely. The sea was calmer in the north, but unfortunately didn't get to see a lot while snorkelling because the sand was kicked up. - there are also bikes to ride and the resort is big enough to be able to jog We also saw the tortoises nearly everyday. It was actually quite therapeutic to go and feed them and just to spend time with them. Now, the important stuff, food and drink. I can honestly say that the a la carte restaurants were all of a good standard - I would suggest making your reservations for the week in advance. We dined in Cyann and had a lovely meal and some good recommendations for wine. However, our particular favourites were Adam and Eve and Seselwa. Carinne at Seselwa was always there to greet us and ensure we were looked after - whether lunchtime or dinner. And the food at Adam and Eve was absolutely lovely. We had a very nice dinner there during our penultimate evening and would love to thank Dario the Food and Beverage manager for looking after us during our entire stay. He works extremely hard and he would pop up at the various restaurants and always say hello. Our aperitif on the helipad had to be moved due to high winds so we were hosted in one of the hillside villas - it was a really lovely evening and Shehan looked after us really well for the evening. It as peaceful and the scenery was absolutely stunning - I think we probably enjoyed this more than we would have done the helipad! On our final day our flight was not departing until late in the evening, and were were able to have a room for the day - this was very much appreciated and meant that we could still enjoy the pool and beach. I can honestly say, that all the staff we encountered at the Constance Ephelia were amazing and so hard working, and I think this took the edge off the rain that we had while we were there. We still had a wonderful holiday. If I was to make one suggestion, the buffet restaurant, Corossol, was a bit of a "free for all". This is the first buffet restaurant at a resort where I have not been shown to a seat - guests seem to be able to sit wherever and often would have got their buffet and then be trying to find a seat. It was a bit odd because it was more like eating in a food court. That said, the range of food was really good and breakfast was always nice (I suggest going between 8-9am to avoid the worst of the crowds). For that reason, we tended to eat at the a la carte restaurants. The other reason why this is a 4 rather than a 5 rating, is that the drinks are very expensive. We were all inclusive but the drinks are not included (except water), and expect to pay high-end hotel London prices, so £5 for a soft drink. However, I must say that the wine was good, and I don't mind paying a bit more for this because the selection great and the sommeliers knew their stuff. All in all it was a really lovely trip and we hope to go back one day. Thank you to everyone at the Constance Ephelia!…
