Constance Ephelia is lauded for its pristine cleanliness and serene, eco-conscious atmosphere, with guests consistently commending the immaculate rooms and tranquil environment. Nestled in a picturesque and secluded setting, the hotel boasts beautiful beaches and nature hikes that captivate visitors.
While the service receives accolades for its friendliness and professionalism, some guests feel that the pricing for food and activities detracts from the overall value. Nonetheless, the resort's extensive amenities, including a luxurious spa and activities suitable for families, are celebrated by many.

Detailed Reviews
Overall, we had an really great stay at this resort. It was a family holiday and i must commend the hotel on the service and extra measures they take for making a stay with infants pleasant. They go out of their way to ensure kids are looked after. Providing special bottled water to prepare milk, they have baby feeding chairs (properly cleaned) in the restaurants. They provided a bottle sterilizing unit so we could clean milk bottles. All staff were always pleasant with baby and keen to ensure baby was well at all times.
The resort is just picture pretty, and really makes you feel like you are close to nature and embracing the island life. Gardens are well looked after, there are beautiful flowers and trees everywhere. The resort is kept spotlessly clean at all times.
The rooms are well looked after and serviced, morning service and a turn down service in the evening. If you require, towels and linen are refreshed, and things like water replenished at both intervals.
Spa is lovely, and well appointed, with some great facilities.
Some of the highlights: Beautiful resort in a natural setting. 2 different and beautiful beaches. Maybe not the best beaches in Seychelles, but still very good (north beach has the better snorkelling). Food at restaurants at supper was great, all meals delicious. Excellent service from all staff, all very friendly and always willing to help.
Some areas for improvement: Breakfast buffet gets tired after a few days. The lunch time poolside menu could be a lot more varied and the cost of these items on the menu is quite exorbitant for what you getting. Cost of water and drinks also quite high. I feel a plan could be made with water - just like in the rooms, they don't need to only provide bottled water.
In summary, i think this is a great family resort, and you will enjoy it.

After two flights and 20 hours in the air the Constance Ephelia became our place of refuge, rest, renewal and restoration for four days before joining a cruise of the Seychelles archipelago.
They have pulled off something remarkable - it is a large property that has been designed to create intimate outdoor spaces. You do not realize you are one of hundreds of guests as you enjoy the south beach area. The north beach area of the property does not succeed in doing that. The grounds and seemingly endless pools are beautiful and beautifully maintained.
The garden and beach villas on the south beach are spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The villas in the 300 numbers are away from where families with young children congregate. We had direct beach views and access from ours.
The property has been open for about 10 years and the rooms have a lot of dark wood. Each rooms has its own outdoor balcony or terrace.
The hotel has 5 food options with 4 restaurants each featuring featuring Creole, Mediterranean, Asian and French cuisines and a buffet dining room serving three meals a day.
The hotel offers bed and breakfast, half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner). The frustrating reality is that when you arrive and try to book dinner at one of the four restaurants you discover that most of them are fully booked. The annoying feature is that if you have a half or full board package the restaurant menus have up-charges for many items. It seems very disingenuous!
Our group of seven friends and family thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and would recommend it highly.

This was our second visit to Constance Ephelia, hopefully not the last.
The resort still holds its charm in terms of the God given nature and landscaping. Although we were disappointed that the hotel’s beach villas were sold out due to our (almost) last time booking due to corona virus destination change, the family villa where we stayed this time beat the beach villa hands down as both rooms were in the same level as oppose to the split level layout of the beach villas. Moreover, the family Villa has a room with twin beds (better for the kids); whereas the beach villa comes with king beds only.
The new thing to the resort is being assigned a villa host, something we didn’t have last year. We were assigned Camilla as our host, but had to be away for some time. Jawadu came looking for us in the morning to offer his services as he stepped in to fill her shoes. Another plus was the availability of golf carts for rent to guests not staying at hilltop villas. Bicycles were also replaced with new ones this time; so no rust stains on your clothes. Beach bags were given away this time while the were only given to certain villas last time. Food was as delicious as always with so much variety to choose from. The Peach Iced Tea was the kids’ absolute favorite. Even with in villa dining, food came super hot!
Our Villa’s housekeeping was attended to by Gihan, who for the second time around went over and beyond to make our stay as smooth as possible. Mr. Wesley Bontemps also made sure we had great experience in the dining outlets as well as in our villa. The little treats he sent were very appreciated.
There were also plenty of activities at the kids club. My daughter thinks it is the best amping all the hotels and resorts we have been to. We cannot thank the kids Club staff for taking care of our daughter and keeping her safe while still having fun.
The SPA, the largest in Seychelles, still delivers the best treatments. The only downside is that despite its size, it’s tough to get appointments. This leaves one taking any appointment as long as there is one despite the time that might not be up to one’s liking.
Upon our checkout, it was pouring heavily. Osmani (I hope the name is right) helped us with the luggage and drove us to the reception to have a quick breakfast before our departure at 6am.
Before we even left Seychelles, we were talking about visiting next year. Our stay would definitely be at Constance Ephelia.

A lot of activities and space, beautiful nature, two beaches, friendly staff and good food. The food is quite expensive for what it is, which is not bad by any means, but not the highest quality. Rooms are cleaned twice a day, but the room cleanliness could be improved as there was dust under the bed and the tiles needed deep cleaning not just vacuuming. I recommend this property for a beautiful and relaxing stay.

Rooms: We stayed in a garden view room which was lovely. Large room, large bed, seating area inside and out on the balcony, large bathroom and walk in wardrobe space with a safe and separate toilet. Very comfy bed, water is replenished daily, hairdryer and minibar.
Food: We stayed Half Board which was fine for us. Breakfast was excellent, lots of continental and cooked options. Dinner in the buffet restaurant was fine, lots of options. We booked each of the a la carte restaurants before we went (early booking is recommended), and dinner in all of the restaurants was great (great service and food).
Resort: The resort is large with lots to do. Yes the pool areas are small, but the north beach has lots of sun beds and is worth the trip alone! The north beach is a gorgeous lagoon, lovely sand and calm water in which to swim and snorkel. Walking between the north and south takes about 10-15 mins, but there are regular golf buggies. The gym is good. The spa area is lovely, very large and relaxing. There are lots of free activities (fitness classes, yoga, meditation etc) so look at the timetable in the gym at the beginning of your stay to make the most of it.
Staff: All of the staff were excellent - very polite, helpful, keen to help with any queries and quick to resolve any small niggles.

We stayed at Constance Ephelia for 5 nights and were truly in awe of the level of service at the property.
We booked a Senior Suite and were provided a room on the first floor. We found the room to be slightly underwhelming and with little natural light. If you are staying in a Junior or Senior Suite we would recommend a room on the ground floor. After raising our disappointment, Amit (from Villa Operations) went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Although the property was almost at 100% occupancy, Amit showed us the few available villas, and luckily one Beach Villa had become available, which we immediately moved to (and paid the price difference of course). We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and effort Amit put in to transferring us to the villa we initially wanted to book!
The Beach Villa was perfect and highly recommended for couples. It was spacious, had lots of natural light, was well equipped, the housekeeping staff maintained the room to a perfect standard, and the outdoor area was perfect to lounge in, and only a few steps away from the beach,
Having worked with numerous properties around the world, the level of service seen at this property was incomparable - the property was more than adequately staffed, all staff were incredibly friendly, diligent, and helpful, and requests were responded to almost immediately where the first response was never "no".
We came with low expectations of the food at the property given other friends' comments about the food at other properties in Mahe, but we were blown away by the quality of food! We had a meal at almost every outlet, including in-villa dining and the private candlelight dinner, and each meal was outstanding. It was great to see such a wide selection of food without compromising on quality and taste.
Although we spent a lot of time outside of the resort, you definitely would not be bored if you stayed at the resort the whole time given its massive size and the array of activities.
We loved every part of our stay and look forward to staying at another Constance property soon. It is difficult to fault any part of our stay and the staff truly made our stay memorable.

Constance Ephelia Resort Seychelles
Stay from 3rd Feb for 6 nights
Our stay at Constance Ephelia was very pleasant. The bedrooms are spacious and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. The pool areas were spilt so different sections had their own pool, which meant there was always plenty of room by the poolside. We went half board, the breakfast and diner buffet was always fresh with lots of options for everyone. My friend is vegan and the chefs went out of their way to make her special puddings and show her everything vegan available on buffet (there was always plenty of choice). We attended the creole night which we paid extra for however weren’t aware before booking that this would be a buffet, the entertainment provided was good, however we found the food to be cold, therefore we preferred main buffet.
There are lots of activities which are available free of charge within the grounds, which we really enjoyed .
The mosquitoes were bad during our stay there and I mentioned this to reception, they said they would spray our room. Later that night we were brought lots of products (we did already have some however these were not working) to help with this problem which we were not expecting and this helped massively.
During our stay (which we really enjoyed) it was my friends 30th when booking the restaurant we informed them that it was her birthday and they said they would provide a cake, however none arrived. After mentioning this on leaving the restaurant they were really apologetic and bought one to our room later, we were already in bed and asked them if they could bring it tomorrow, nothing arrived. This is not a massive issue however this also happen to my sister at the same resort when she was there for a birthday so I would advise if you are going for a big birthday like we were try and make this very clear to the management.
During our time there I broke my wrist (simple accident) however we called reception for a bandage and an hour later nothing arrived. We then gave up and when to the poolside to enquire and we found one there, after over an hour of waiting for the bandage we called reception to tell them that we didn’t need it.
Overall we had a fabulous stay and would recommend it to anyone, whilst there were a couple of hiccups this did not dampen our experience or stay at Constance Ephelia and would return in the future.

Having just returned from our 2 week honeymoon at the Constance ephelia, Seyschelles, we cannot recommend this place enough, from the second we arrived the hospitality and
professionalism of the staff was
impeccable and outstanding.
We booked a Junior suite, on the
ground floor, which was nothing short
of amazing, clean, spacious right
next to our own quiet pool and
beautiful beach literally a minute
walk away. The attention to detail
was second to none, champagne on arrival and a birthday cake personally delivered by one of the chefs on my birthday.
We used the well equipped and up to date gym and pool, squash courts, kayaks and paid for the Zip wire (extra charge £60 per person) experience, which is a must do, the guys were brilliant and it was the ultimate adrenaline rush with stunning views.
The food was varied and catered for all cultures and preferences.
Staff were absolutely amazing, polite and nothing was too much trouble we never encountered anyone who was rude in any way during our stay.
Would encourage if possible to stay all inclusive as drinks in resort are very expensive and water is classed as an extra,
Zee bar which is stunning £49 for 4 drinks, we took our own spirits in, which is allowed, and there are 'local' shops just outside the resort where you can get wine, beers, and snacks, it's not like your local shop at home.
Advise booking ahead for other 6 restaurants as these do get booked quickly.
Snorkelling on the north beach is much better than the south, you can catch a buggy or walk which only takes 15 minutes if you can bear the heat, would suggest you take beach shoes as sand is very sharp and rocky underfoot in places.
All in all we found nothing to complain about.
We have made some amazing memories and we will return in the future.

+1
We stayed here at the end of a 18 night stay for just 3 nights as we wanted to be closer to the airport on our last day. If we regretted one thing about our lovely holiday in the Seychelles it was that we didn't spend more time at this luxurious hotel. It is a huge complex with a north and south side. It means you can walk an awful lot (as we happily did) or you can catch a free shuttle - of which there are many and they drive around the resort picking up and dropping off passengers between 7.00am and midnight. (and will come out of hours if you call them)
There is no shortage of excellent places to eat and drink and we tried an Asian themed restaurant, an Indian themed buffet and a Seychellois restaurant on three consecutive nights. They were all absolutely brilliant.
The staff are all efficient, professional and polite if not hugely friendly, This is perhaps understandable as it is an extremely large resort, I believe the biggest in the Indian Ocean. There is a sumptious spa which is free to guests at certain times of day (and then charged) and complementary paddle boards, Kayaks and snorkels.
We had a Senior Suite on the north side which was lovely but on this experience should we go again we would book on the south side, I think it may just have been the three days we were there but the north was extremely windy (unbearably so) and the sea quite rough. On each of the three days we therefore made out way to the South side which has 3 or 4 restaurants and some of the most tranquil beaches with clear blue water that I have ever seen in my life!
We will definitely be back. But for longer.

When we first arrived we were a little apprehensive about the size of the resort as we are used to staying in smaller, more boutiquey hotels. We stayed in an senior suite (full board) in the North of the resort and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of the rooms and the outstanding service of the staff throughout the resort. During our stay we dined at all restaurants, except the buffet and the quality and attention to detail of the food was amazing, I have a severe anaphylactic allergy to certain foods and at our first meal at Seselwa the wonderful Ryza made a note on our room, so that whenever we made a reservation, the restaurant would be aware of this. Perry was also excellent in Seselwa. The chef in each restaurant made a point of speaking to us personally and often creating safe dishes just for me. Special mention must be made to our super chef Jahr in Adam and Eve, who was just fantastic and really went that extra mile! The sommeliers at each restaurant were very knowledgable, Brandon in Seselwa who made sure we tried some amazing wines at lunch, and Bhoumitra, Sreenath and Stephanie in Adam & Eve. Our only slight disappointment was the very limited selection of lunch available in Cyann, we are big sushi fans and would have been more than happy with a small plate of sushi, the two dishes (starter and main) which were available to us worked out more expensive than the sushi we would have liked, which seemed madness!
The beach was always immaculate, special thanks to Billy and Prasad on the beach who were always on hand if we needed anything. I think a QR code menu would work well on the beach for drinks as sometimes it can take a while to get a menu. During our stay we met the wonderful Amir Paul (North Resort Manager) who really engaged with us and shared our love of travel. He was just incredibly helpful to make sure our stay was just perfect, so very special thanks to Amir.
We really were so very happy with our whole experience and would highly recommend this resort. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to return in the future.
