Constance Ephelia earns praise for its serene atmosphere and meticulous attention to detail, making it a hit for those looking to celebrate special occasions. While some visitors feel the prices don't always match the value, the resort's cleanliness and exceptional service are highlights. The location is a tranquil blend of forest and beach, offering a variety of activities. Although the rooms are generally admired for their size and comfort, a few guests suggest they might need updating and better views.

To celebrate our birthdays last month my partner and I were recommended Ephelia. It did not disappoint. Our greeting was super personal from Tempi at the gate who make us feel we were close friends arriving home. The room was made up with gifts on the bed and a cleverly crafted birthday cake make out of towels and petals. Aside from the breakfast staff the rest of the staff really made or stay one we will never forget. Prabu remembering our names throughout and always going above and beyond to make each occasion full of joy and extremely memorable. Nina treated me to the most wonderful massage at the spa, her warm friendly persona made the whole experience a delight . Rita Meme (chef at Seselwa) generously hosted a cookery class in her kitchen with local ingredients she was truly passionate and knowledgeable. Vanessa from Adam & eve restaurant was an especially warm, funny and made us feel right at home and last but not least Ismail who made each ride on the buggies one to smile about.

At first we were surprised by the lack of communication with the other guests but as the week went by we melted into the calm, gentle, relaxing vibe and beautiful location.

We are absolutely delighted that you chose our resort to celebrate your birthdays, and we are thrilled to hear that your experience exceeded expectations. We truly appreciate your kind words about our team. Especially, Tembi’s warm welcome, Prabu's attention and care helped which made your stay even more memorable, and Nina will be equally touched by your praise for the wonderful massage experience she provided. We are glad you enjoyed your time with Rita during the cookery class, Vanessa’s warm and humorous hospitality, along with Ismail’s cheerful rides, are just a few examples of the incredible service our team is dedicated to providing, and we are thrilled they made such an impact on your stay. 5 star hotel highly recommend - housekeeping is amazing, truly unsung heroes who make this place a luxury home for you so a huge thanks to them, they take care of the place so well.

Massive resort with lots to do, and 2 amazing hiking trails too (bring boots if you plan to do them as trainers will get ruined and you can slip easily without proper boots). Morning breakfast is really good. Zee bar is a great place to chill with lots of indoor and outdoor seating options, the private beaches are gorgeous, the green areas and trees and nature is amazing, and it is a super private, yet massive place with lots to see and do.

This place is great for adults and kids, the staff are great, and the beach and grounds are stunning.

They take care of small things like complimentary unlimited drinking bottled water, mosquito spray provided free, fresh towels non stop and the beds are so comfortable, we slept like babies here. They have a Whatsapp system too for anything you need which is super helpful for all of the admin and restaurant bookings and anything you need in the room. Unlimited coffee in room and you don’t get screwed basically on the small things. Small things like massive cupboards if you are staying long, tonnes of TV channels in case you want a night in with good tech for streaming and media connections, massive bathrooms and all of the small things you need provided. No reason to leave the resort until probably day 4 or 5 when you will want to experience something new for a day.

We stayed 4 nights in August 2024 and our only “complaints” would be that the alcoholic cocktails were not great especially for what you pay. The menu at the Greek restaurant was super basic and lacked any imagination or creativity.

Would definitely come back, thank you.

We spent 5 nights in a spa Villa with a private pool in Constance Ephelia.
There were 2 bedrooms, a 12 meter long private pool and a private spa (steam sauna and dry sauna and Jacuzzi) where you could relax in your room.
The room cleaning was always perfect, the temperature and humidity in the steam and dry saunas were perfect.
And when you stay in a spa Villa, you'll be taken care of by a dedicated staff like Butler who can help you with many aspects of your hotel stay. Seno Saputra was in charge of our room. He was the perfect hotel man. He replies quickly and accurately to my requests, and I felt safe leaving all restaurant Reservations, pick-up and drop-off to him. Our stay was made all the better by his thoughtfulness.

The food in the hotel was very good. There is a buffet restaurant and 4 a la carte restaurants. We used all the restaurants and all of them were wonderfully good and the prices including alcohol were reasonable.

Yoga, which is every morning at the spa, was also good. I liked the teaching and atmosphere of the yoga instructor.
The on-site gym was also equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure a good workout. At the gym, I was able to participate in float fit and trekking in the pool, which was great. I really enjoyed trekking to see waterfalls.

There are two beaches on the property. The waves were calmer and easier to swim in at North Beach. We enjoyed SUP, kayaking, snorkeling and more at sea.

There were also five swimming pools on site. Three in front of the a la carte restaurant, one in the spa and one in the gym. My favorite was the pool in the spa. Around this spa's pool are steam and dry saunas, both free to use. The pool inside the gym was also very atmospheric.

It was such a great Resort hotel that we will be making Reservations here again next year.

We stayed in November for 4 nights at
Hotel. Had arrived at the hotel after a truly dreamlike start to their holiday at other luxury resorts on Praslin and La Digue & had to wait “as usual” for a room.

The guest manager (overall praise to Fatima) showed us the first room & we noted that the smell bothered us. Fatima immediately said that it was “Mold” smell.

As an allergy sufferer definitely needed another mold-free room, which we got with many circumstances; first the housekeeper came and sprayed toilet fragrance spray in 😅.

After another 3 hours of waiting “Extra for you” a room was organized - it was fine (by no means 5 stars).

We had included a bag, sparkling wine and room decoration as honeymoon offer, as well as a massage offer (20% offer). Exact amount no longer known as absurd - over 400€ for 1 hour).

We went to the reception daily for the offers (on principle) & got a lousy decoration on the last day (+ 2 bags ?!).

We asked about a late checkout and were able to stay at Fatima (the only one who stayed in the
Hotel really tried to help) in view of our tedious stay to obtain an extension of 3 hours.

Overall, the staff after the first hotels were very disliked towards us & the audience was a disaster - I didn't know that it drove sooo many bad-tempered French people to the Seychelles (love you, but a welcome or goodbye at a shared caddy ride is probably still to be expected).

Furthermore, the waiters were shown the cold shoulder & displayed an all-inclusive behavior when eating, which is difficult to bear.

Can only recommend this hotel to a limited extent. This country offers beautiful sites, hotels, beaches & nice people - maybe you should be aware that it is a mass handling in paradise.

Constance Ephelia is wonderful. Both main beaches are how you imagine paradise. Golden sand is perfectly clean and no sign of sunbeds because these are discretely placed at the back of the beach by the tree line. There never seemed a problem with getting a bed either there or at one of the many pools.
Food is lovely including in the buffet which benefits from being split into smaller rooms to give a restaurant feel.
What really sets the Ephelia apart is the genuine friendliness of the staff. We were greeted every day by Regan who made a special effort to remember our names and made us feel so welcome. We got great advice and service from Anita and Kamile (apologies if spelling is wrong), the sommelier.
The shuttle buggy staff were always helpful and happy especially Ismael.

Some tips:
Book the other restaurants in advance but double check availability when you arrive as they are sometimes themed nights at an extra fee.
Drink is expensive so factor that into your budget. There is a shop not far from the North reception where you can top up on beer and snacks at more reasonable prices
Taxis are expensive but car hire is cheap and Mahe is easy to drive around
There are buses but you need a card to travel. You can get the card from Victoria, the capital...but how to get there without a card?
Snorkelling is great at the North beach but it's also worth joining a trip from the boathouse - Greg was a great lead and helped us see a turtle.

Creole travel services are great - we joined a trip to Moyenne Island

Two weeks of pure bliss

Undoubtedly a nice resort, the Junior suite where I stayed was not bad. The beach is also remarkable. I also appreciated the sweet treat kindly offered on the occasion of my birthday. What, as an Italian, I think should be improved is the buffet. Being on an island I expected a more balanced menu between meat and fish, unfortunately there was too much meat and not enough fish (only blue). As I pointed out to the management, it would not be a bad idea to include first courses with fish-based condiments instead of meat sauce, practically the only prospect for those who chose the classic pasta. Luckily I chose half board (the full board option costs around 60 euros per person per day), this gave me the opportunity to enjoy good first and second courses based on fish at the restaurant which is located no more than 300m from the resort entrance (at a similar price but in line with the tourist location). Another sore point is the cappuccino. You have to ask the waiters, wait your turn to have a cappuccino which most of the time is very hot and has too much coffee (despite having specified several times with little coffee and not too hot). It would be ideal if automatic coffee and cappuccino machines were added to the buffet, the service would be much faster and more functional. I didn't really like being woken up by the noise of the drill and grinder at 7:30 in the morning for almost 3 days straight for work on the accommodation below us, especially when it rained (but I understand that it can happen sometimes). The extension of the room at checkout from 12pm to 6pm was a bit expensive (around 200 euros) which is why very few have used it. The courtesy lounge with toilet made available for those who had a flight in the afternoon or evening was appreciated, but it was a pity that the air conditioning (the regulation of which was blocked) forced one to cover oneself with a jacket and other things to avoid getting sick! However, it is a resort of excellent quality but which, for the reasons stated, I rate with 4 stars.

Phenomenal property - I could have stayed 10 days here and not got out.
First up, the property is spread over 120 hectares! One would take a day or two to walk around the whole place, so it is very helpful that they have constant free shuttles running throughout the property. One could also rent bikes from the fitness center (though why they do charge a rent, I couldn't quite understand) to get around.
There are 2 beaches, and I think 6 pools (could have been more, I lost track after a point!). The North beach has excellent snorkeling right off the beach, and the Boathouse lets one use equipment on an hourly basis to snorkel, kayak or surf. One could also book excursions but I did not see the point of going away from this property! There are a couple of easy 1-2 hr hikes which take one to breathtaking viewpoints, and ziplining / rock-climbing activities if one wanted more action!
The kids club has activities lined up throughout the day and there is something for all ages.
Our junior suite room was luxurious (they had a pillow menu!) - it was on the ground floor and close to a restaurant, pool and the beach was maybe 100 mts away.
Suffice to say, the place has enough to keep you occupied even if you didn't just want to head to the beach/pool and read a book.
There are a couple of puzzling aspects though
- There are 5 restaurants on the premises. On the evening of our arrival, we found out that these were booked out for 2 days in advance, which meant we couldn't visit them for dinner during our 3 night stay! The other choices are a buffet with varying themes (which we found over-priced) or in-room dining with a very limited menu. We didn't have advance notice of this situation, and at check-in, they just gently suggested to make reservations for the restaurants, which we casually ignored. Nonetheless, after bringing it to their attention that we were stuck, it never got escalated to their management to help the situation. We just ended up eating in or going very late to try our luck walking in. Please check your half-board conditions, most likely the meal is in the buffet restaurant - since lunch was free for walk-in, we did eat at the other restaurants and the food was excellent.
- There is some lack of privacy with the bathrooms. I found this to be more egregious in the other property we stayed at, but even so, it was strange why a large family suite need have a tub & toilet just separated from the bedroom by a screen door with blinds and no latch.

The location is well away from buzzy parts like Beau Vallon - there is pretty much nothing else close by. It is a plus or minus depending on what you are looking for - I never did want to leave the property, so it worked out well for me.

All in all, a wonderful stay - I only wish I could have stayed longer.

To the rooms:

Our room was very comfortable, in the morning (or as needed) it was cleaned and in the evening came again the room service if something is needed (water etc.). The bed was super comfortable, the layout with two mirrors and sink, separate toilet, open dressing area and very large shower was great. Large terrace (we were on the ground floor). Two suggestions for improvement, more hooks for hanging up bathrobes etc. and from the shower always splashes a lot of water. Generally, the room was top!

For food:

The food, no matter what restaurant was gigantic. Recommendations for:
– Helios Linguini with Prawns (also works with tomato sauce if cream is not tolerated)
– Adam&Eve Sizzling Prawns (expensive, but insanely horny) definitely try the vegan chocolate cake
– Seselwa clearly for me the Creole cuisine chicken or octopus curry (cheaper just across the street outside the resort at the two takeaways)
– We only visited Corossol for breakfast, there is something for everyone
– Cyann we went twice to the manager cocktail (very delicious finger food and drinks) and to the candlelight dinner on the beach, was very delicious (but incredibly expensive)

In general, you have to say that food is really delicious (exactly the same with wine, cocktails etc.), but also expensive...

Generally the resort:

Gigantic part, two weeks were not enough to see everything and experience everything. From turtles to snorkeling or a naturehike (don't be afraid of spiders), there's something for everyone. 10/10

Spa:
The hammer. Be sure to go at least once. (treatments in the early are 30% cheaper ;)!)

The staff:

In general, everyone was Insanely Professional and incredibly accommodating and incredibly nice. Some people stood out and we also exchanged with them privately. A warmth and joy I have never experienced anywhere else. Clearly the people live there in paradise, but again they also work, so not for granted. Thanks to Rose, Prabu and Amit, these three have gone the extra mile and were an insane addition to our holiday.

We feel so lucky & proud to have stayed in this little slice of heaven for our honeymoon!

We stayed in room 77 senior suite, on arriving at 10:00am we were able to check into our room straightaway (very welcomed after a 14 hour trip) & I have no doubt this was thanks to the hard work of Sanjeewa who continued to exceed to make our stay perfect, our room was kept to the highest standard throughout our 10 day stay; your attention to detail, smiley face & our chats every morning/evening was the cherry on the cake. An absolute credit to the Constance hotel group.

As for food, the senior suites are close to Seleewa, so this is where we opted to eat breakfast every morning, which had plenty of options & was a nice size so wasn’t too busy or overcrowded in the mornings. Great service by all! We opted to eat in Helios for lunch and varied between the pool menu & buffet, again great variety & delicious - our host Frank couldn’t do enough for us! He ensures the service runs like clockwork.
We ate at all the restaurants during the evening apart from Cyann & we can’t fault any of them for food & service. Everything was spot on!

We were happy with the location of the senior suites as we were closest to the north beach - which in our opinion is the nicest beach of the resort. We didn’t use the hotel pools, as the beaches are incredible with bath temperature water & a great selection of complimentary water sports (1-hour use) my husband is a keen paddle boarder & kayaker so this went down a treat! We would also recommend taking a walk to see the views from the helipad & going to the waterfall which was a short distance out of the resort.

Whilst the senior suites are further away from the restaurants there are shuttles readily available (we didn’t have to wait longer than 5 minutes) Ismir the shuttle driver was a diamond & brought all the fun & good vibes to our trip.

All in all an incredible stay & we will return in the near future, all staff are an asset to the Constance hotel group & we can’t thank you all enough for making our honeymoon an unforgettable trip!

Our experience with the staff was truly exceptional. Okeke, the housekeeping manager, went above and beyond to ensure my family was comfortable throughout our stay. One particular moment stood out when she noticed us walking around looking for a buggy during a very busy time. My daughter was nearly falling asleep in my arms, and seeing how challenging the situation was, Okeke kindly stepped in and assisted us by giving us a ride to our room herself. Her thoughtfulness and genuine care were truly remarkable. Additionally, she was incredibly friendly with my daughter and even made her day by gifting her a lovely ornament when we stopped by while her team was decorating the Christmas tree.

Shanjeewa, our housekeeper, ensured our room was spotless every single day, with an impressive attention to detail.

John, one of the buggy drivers, amazed us with his extensive knowledge of the resort and its facilities. He took my daughter on a delightful ride around the resort, and they quickly became great friends. Angelo, another buggy driver, was equally friendly and welcoming, making every interaction enjoyable.

Anushka, the beach boy assistant from Sri Lanka, provided exceptional service. He not only remembered all our orders and preferred drinks but also knew our favorite spot on the sun loungers, ensuring our beach days were absolutely perfect.

A member of the buffet staff also went out of his way to make my daughter’s dining experience unforgettable. When she was looking for chicken nuggets, he overheard her request and immediately offered to prepare them as a special exception. This thoughtful gesture made her dinner extra special. My 4-year-old daughter even told me, ‘I love this place because it has everything I want to eat, and someone else is cooking it for us!’

Every interaction with the staff added a personal and memorable touch to our stay. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care truly made this a standout experience for my family, and we are incredibly grateful!

this is a fabulous resort and my husband & I celebrated our 30th anniversary there in 2022 and will go back for my birthday in March this year. You will LOVE Ephelia. We stayed in a junior Suite near the quiet pool near the South beach. We loved walking along this beach collecting shells on our way to breakfast every day. The North beach is great for swimming and snorkeling, the senior suites and villas are located there. North beach bar is the place to have a tropical drink while watching the sun go down. Be sure to walk to the other 3 small beaches on the property only reached by hiking paths. You won't be disappointed by any of the suites at either location. We loved walking throughout this vast property and golf buggies will pick you up if you don't like to walk. We stayed last year at the sister resort Lemuria and loved this one too!

Hello- it's smart- casual at dinner; I noticed women do like to add a touch a glam to an evening outfit. But flat shoes are the order of the day. Don't bother with heels.

"The Corossal restaurant is buffet only in the evenings and a bit of jam. Avoid if you want quiet but with so many options this is easy to do"
