The grounds are this hotel are very attractive. It is situated across the street from the beach and restaurants. You are greeted with cider with scotch on check in. The breakfast buffet includes pretty much anything you would want from smoked salmon to pastries and fruit. It alone was worth staying there. We also went to the lovely pool and... More

We stayed here three nights while we toured the sights of Galilee during the days. Great location close to the Sea, comfortable rooms, helpful, pleasant staff, and very good food all made us wish we could have spent more time at the hotel!

Just got back from a 3 day, 2 night weekend. The Scots Hotel is a beautiful location. New mixed with old, class and luxury leisure. We were welcomed at the from desk with apple juice or Glenfiddich (nice). We arrived at 1230 and were well aware that check in was at 3 pm. We planned on spending the time by... More

The rooms and buildings are lovely, and the food is amazingly good. My husband and I spent part of our trip to Israel here and wished we could have stayed longer. I see some people criticize the staff, and by American standards, they are rather stand-offish. This did not detract from the experience for us. They did their jobs well.... More

The rooms themselves were a little pedestrian, but the old buildings, artwork and grounds were beautiful. It was a little strange to be eating Scottish style food on a Friday evening. The portions were huge and the food was tasty. We chose to eat in the bar as the restaurant was buffet only with an exorbitant price. Breakfast buffet was... More

Our guide recommended this hotel, and it was interesting in that it was a collection of old buildings that were a Scottish hospital. It's confusing to get around from one building to another, such as finding the building with the restaurant, and the staff is a bit surly. When we arrived, the person who took our luggage to the building with... More

Spent one night at the this hotel. Really over rated and over priced for what you get. Everyone I told I was going to stay at this hotel has good things to say, but no necessarily because they stayed in the hotel but what they heard. The hipe is very big. But in reality it's not a good hotel. No... More

Great views, great accommodations, good is very high standard and the spa and pool are awesome! Outside the hotel there isn't much to do unless you drive out a bit but still a unique hotel that's a must. Have fun staying here, you won't regret it!

Incredible location with top notch service. Arrived with my family, pool and spa is a welcome sight especially in the summer months. Make sure you opt for the Breakfast Buffet. Ranks in the best of "all-time". Quiet rooms, well constructed floors.

This hotel did live up to the prior reviews and should be on anyone's list that is looking for luxury in the Galilee. Well situated in the heart of town (not that there is that much of an old town) and by the Sea, rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The original buildings operated as a hospital for most of...
