Tiberias is a tricky place to stay, with lots of overpriced and low-quality hotels. Scots was great. The grounds are lovely and the service was great. The food was also very good at the hotel, for both breakfast and lunch. This is the place to book in the city.

It was a joy to spend two nights here to visit the galilee area. I stayed in a deluxe room in the old section of this former hospital. The meals were excellent The staff was excellent. The gardens and pool area were excellent. It is rare to be with a group, there were 14 of us, at such a nice...

This exceptionally beautiful hotel is run faultlessly. It manages a perfect combination of friendliness and professionalism. Stunningly landscaped, it overlooks lake galilee and has a large and well serviced swimming pool with a very decent cafe/snack bar. This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.

March 25, 26, 2017. Room 407: Very nice hotel. Definitely quite upscale. The room had good lighting, lots of room for luggage, and more than adequate counter space in bathroom. Excellent breakfast/dinner buffets. More food and variety than imaginable. Well located within walking distance of a "Boardwalk" (and cheap souvenirs) by the Sea of Galilee. Lovely grounds to walk on,...

Just came home after a weekend with my wife at the Scots Hotel in Tiberias, Israel. Had a wonderful experience. Located on premises which were until 60 years ago a hospital operated by the Scotish Church (and still owned by them, the place is wonderful and with historic glamour, the view of the Sea of Galili great, the service is...

Great hotel, beautiful facility and gardens, great food, very good wi-fi, ample parking, lovely pool. Once you check in, there is no reason to go to town. Great value for money - you pay more and you get much more.

It is not cheap, but if you are looking for the best on the Sea of Galilee, this is it! We spent two nights here. The room was one of those "antique" rooms with a lake view in the Doctor's House. You feel like you are right on top of the lake. Very comfortable and well appointed. The hotel grounds...

Owned by the Church of Scotland, not a kosher hotel. Quite nice and comfortable. Beds a little hard. (I always complain about beds.) If you find it difficult to climb stairs, know that you can drive around back and enter from the back as their are flights of outside stairs from the lobby. Service is fine. Hotel is a block...

We spent several nights here recently on a tour of the Holy Land and found Scots Hotel to be a great place to stay. The staff was excellent, the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, and the room was fine. The setting amid the gardens was beautiful.
