I recently stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel in Tiberias, Israel. I found the staff there to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beautiful balcony for relaxing and reading!!

Set beside the Sea of Galilee this is a lovely hotel. I am here with a group of 50 and we were welcomed with good humour and plenty of assistance. Good staff matched by excellent food. You walk across the road and have the rare and unique opportunity to swim in the Sea of Galilee. Don't miss it!

This would be my last choice of hotels when I go back to Israel again. I stayed here with a small group. Several of us had various problems with our rooms. Our room had a terrible smell and the bed was so hard I had to sleep on pillows in order to rest at all. The food was not as...

My husband and I have led four previous tours to Israel, and this is the first time that our group (26 of us) has stayed at this hotel. We'd hoped to lodge at the Ron Beach again (we enjoyed our stay there in 2009), but they couldn't accommodate us for the dates we needed. The hotel in general was really...

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group and were pleased with a basic room, which had a view of the Sea of Galilee. The buffet breakfasts and dinners presented for the tour groups were very good with a substantial emphasis on a Mediterranean diet. From the hotel it is a delightful and interesting thirty minute...

This hotel caters to groups, was very busy when we stayed. The buffet was challenging with the long lines, however the wait staff was very efficient. No wifi in the rooms, but available for a fee in the lobby area. Rooms were dated, but clean. Our room had two twin beds so my husband and I pushed the them together!

The hotel itself is aesthetically nice, especially the interior including the lobby and most of the rooms. The dinners are tasty overall and the experience was good. The main issue I found was with the service, which at times was lackluster. The hotel has potential to be 5 star reviewed across the board, but there needs to be lots of...

The room and bathroom was worn out and badly needed updating. We had to ask the front desk 2-3 times to fix something and bring washcloths and towels before we got any action. The staff was either overwhelmed with large crowds or didn't seem to understand customer service. The pool and gym were not open for business.
