The Ron Beach Hotel is located on the Sea of Galilee. It is a very pleasant location and enjoyable. The facility is clean and it has a great swimming pool and outdoor facilities. The dining room is clean and the food is fresh and delicious.
The location on the shore of the sea of galilee is excellent, night and day. Have a cocktail and look at the water it is beautiful. The hotels furniture needs updating and the climate control in the room was lacking. The place had a muggy feel and smell to it. Staff was excellent and food servers also. Downtown is a ten minute walk away and nice to visit just visit in the daytime os my advice.
We stayed at Ron Beach with a tour group. Overall, the staff was very nice, but the pool area needs attention. Found it disappointing that EVERY ONE of the 20 chase lounges under the overhang were heavily soiled with pigeon dung, and they weren't cleaned at all during our stay. This is obviously an older property that has had a lot of upkeep done to keep it operational, and it still can be. Just needs attention to it's outdoor areas.
We stayed here for 3 nights on an Israel tour. The place was efficient on check in and the stay was good. The rooms are a little older but they are working on updating the rooms. The vies is spectacular of the Sea of Galilee. They have wonderful sunrises. You can pay for breakfast and dinners. I would recommend it. The food is great.
We stayed in room 332 which had a view over the pool, partly blocked by palm trees. This is a large room with a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, plenty of storage space and hangers and an in-room safe. There were good bedside lights and a reasonable work space. There is no iron or ironing board, but there is an ironing room available. The large bathroom had a bath and a walk-in, rainfall shower. The 2 single beds pushed together allowed for a very comfortable sleep. We ate breakfast and dinner here and there was a very wide selection of dishes available for each meal. Even the breakfast box supplied for the 4am start on our journey home offered a wide variety of foods.
