Just spent 3 nights at Ascent. The food was quite good especially the mid-day meal on Shabat. The Torah classes were great. They had live music in "the Kabbalah Cave" which was lovely. The musicians were in their 20s and played guitar and violin. Amazing musicians. The staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. Very...

This experience was one of my favorites during my Taglit jorney in Israel. The Chabbad Rabbi was simply so happy that his happiness was contagious! If I finally visit Sfat again I want to stay here and learn more about the Talmud, Torah and all sacred books of the judaism.

I stayed here many years ago with a friend. The rooms are basic and clean. The food was good. This time we came here to celebrate an Upsherin (i.e. Hair cutting ceremony for a 3 year old boy) The Rabbi ("Big Mo") makes the experience educational, enjoyable and fun for all ages. Ascent is a really interesting place. There are...

Strange, old, but nice, with great views. No service, just a place to sleep. Possibly very spiritual place, no idea about it. A good terrace, coffee/tea zone, friendly religious people. Located on the hill, 10 min slowly walking from the bus station, great views.

I went to Tzfat with 4 other friends and we really loved our stay. We could all share the same room, that was clean and organised. All the meals were very nice and the Shabbat program was really inspiring. I wish I could come back every Shabbat :-) The staff was very friendly and sweet.

Definitely my favorite place in Safed. The staff is really helpful and kind. Great place to meet awesome people. Feels like going back home. Look out for the porch. Great view. Perfect for relaxing and just chilling.

It may be a little different experience off-season. The place is quirky and charming. Clean. All kinds of room options, but they are rather basic, and come with a fan and a space heater. You might want to bring your own towel and toiletries. The views and tranquility are lovely. Classes, seminars and discussions are available throughout the day. Porches,...

I really enjoyed my stay. There was a fun creative art workshop and then we had a meditation session in the local forest. It was a great chance to learn about Kabbala and Jewish mysticism. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean the porches and the views were beautiful!
