The Beis Yosef is well situated in the heart of the city. There were 2 small situated problems that we experienced at travelers to this local. We rented a SUV and parking there is a bit of a nightmare. It’s a small city and the parking is first come first serve. There is no zone for loading & unloading suitcases (not the fault of the hotel)compounded by the city is very eager to give out parking tickets on a whim. Be ready to carry your suitcases from the parking lot up the cobblestone steps for a while under the sun’s relentless heat in the summer time

So sorry you found the parking so difficult. It is free in some places and free everywhere after 4pm. However, I do hope this didn't spoil your visit to safed and I am happy you liked the unit.

This was truly a very unfortunate situation. I had tried unsuccessfully all day to make contact with this client; through the website where he made his reservation, his phone number he gave as his contact number and via his email address. He did not respond to any of my messages or calls. Our check in times are clearly listed as being until 7pm. We are not a hotel and do not have 24 hour lobby for check in . A late check in can be arranged with prior contact but this was not done. I left my phone on until 10.30 pm in case he called. Apparently he arrived at 10.45 pm. well, after our check in time and there was no one around to check him in. I am very sorry that he found himself in this situation . However, I am happy that he was able to find alternative accommodation so late.

Place has nice porch & is well situated. The theme is wacky, yet cute, albeit old furniture. We requested 3 bedrooms for 3 couples, but the 3rd bedroom was fit only for children as it did not have a privacy door and only a trundle bed. The refrigerator did not work properly when filled with all our food and some things went sour. Owner would not compensate. With all our company though, we had a grand time. Lots of seating, and sofas. We had to ask for more towels and extra keys, which were provided upon request.

I am very happy that this family enjoyed their visit. However, I must point out that we took the issue of the fridge very seriously and sent a maintenance man to check the fridge twice to make sure that all was working well. On his second visit he took a temperature gauge with him to actually test how cold the fridge was. Everything was working how it should.

We stayed here over a Shabbat with my family. The room felt like an ancient cave (exposed stone from the ceiling to the floor, and stained glass windows everywhere) and was very special, it took us back in time. My young kids played in the Tsfat alleyways on Shabbat and had a great time. I recommend city park (gan hair) as well. Sharon at check-in was very polite and professional and pointed us in the right direction to buy food and things for Shabbat. One think to fix was the wifi in the room which wasn't working. But besides that everything was clean, working, and the beds were really comfortable.

We loved the apartment and the location in general. Plenty of space. We were at "Tet Zayin 41" which is a somewhat vague address -- a few other apartments have same address. Just a few minor criticisms: the bathroom (bathtub) and kitchen counter were not well cleaned; and the supply of disposables (tissues, toilet paper, disposable plates) was not really enough for 4 adults, 3 days. At the price we paid I expected more…
