The lobby is nice and the location right by the beach is great. However the decor is very tired and the corridor we were on felt dingy. The bedroom carpet felt damp underfoot and the bathroom had signs of rust. It‘s not a five-star standard, more like three but without the charm, yet the prices are quite high. A plus point was the strong, hot shower and comfortable beds. There is no food service at the moment but that was explained with the booking. We stayed there in order to be near friends but I would’ve been disappointed if we’d chosen this as a weekend holiday destination.

A lovely week was spent in Israel for Francine's 60th Birthday. I wanted to pull out all the stops so we drove to the airport and parked the car and took a comfortable 45 minute flight to Tel Aviv. We landed and hired a nice car and drove the 1hour and 45 minutes to Netanya but it took about 4 hours as the phone lost Google so we couldn't get a signal. Asked lots of people in Hertzlia and eventually found this lovely hotel in central Netanya. But although the hotel was nice and the car local in the small front car park (Disabled) the city was frightfully expensive so the whole week cost over £2,000. It cost more than £50 for any meal and coffee and cakes in the square one sunny day was another £30. We visited the hospital where Francine had her lovely twins, now aged over 30 and loved the memories of where she lived happily more six years before her fat, monster husband didnt work, flirted with other women and they returned to the UK. Still all in all, a lovely week but i dont like the ultra religious Weekends when all the wealthy Israeli Jews take over the hotel for shabbat. Very unfriendly so no lifts work, no coffee or tea in the morning, and everywhere wanting money, money, money.

The hotel was clean but old and a little backward. We were there for the first night of our bible tour through the country. We ended up getting a suite which would of worked for fantastic for a family. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms with a large ditto area. We had buffet for both breakfast and dinner. The good was ok. The service was slow and I think the server was confused. After waiting for a glass of wine at dinner, we had to get up and reorder at the bar then pay for drinks at the reception desk. The doors still use regular keys. This hotel need a face lift!

The Mediterranean views were sensational from the hotel. Our room was large so I could read in a separate room while my wife slept. The food served at breakfast and dinner was very palatable. Our room was not as modern as most of the hotels we stayed at but it was very large.

Was there with family ,not for the first time. It's old, but they try to keep it fixed up. Pool , food , were good. Had a problem with bathroom, always had odor, and the shower flooded the floor, which did not dry up. One day they used 10 towels to soak it up. Next day, they forgot to come, so I asked for a mop and towels, and did it myself. I wrote to them about it in August, so that bathroom and installation would be addressed. I was promised a response within 30 days, but it never came, despite a reminder...
