We visited the Fauzi Azar mansion over a weekend, and had also a recommended 2-hour tour of the Old City. The mansion is gorgeous in its authentic, historic, generations-kept feel and look to it. It is an entire family's experience and story, told so eloquently by the manager-owner of the place, Fauzi's granddaughter Suraida. It is truly an emotional experience,...

We absolutely loved our stay in Fauzi Azar: the building is amazing, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the atmosphere peaceful and Nazareth a great place in itself and for day trips in the area. Don't miss Akko!

Such a visit. This amazing mansion is filled with hidden beauties, from the physical location, the elegant surroundings to the people and their stories. I loved my time here. Clean, welcoming, good breakfast, great people and an inspiring story in its beginnings. I will definitely return here again and again.

This is one of a very few backpackers' hostels in Israel, built in a beautiful old house with a unique atmosphere and architecture. Staff was very friendly and provided great service, and a nice breakfast is included. Having said that, in our opinion the maintenance and state of the entire place need to be better for what we payed. Our...

Beautiful house, in very good location! It is not any typical accommodation. You have the feeling that you are in Alf lajla wa-lajla. I appreciated a lot that next day we were firstly introduced with the history of the house. It was done by grand daughter of Mr. Fauzi Azar and later on local lady Mona showed us Nazareth from...

We really enjoyed staying in this hostel. It was an amazing authentic experience: fantastic guitar music, a delicious breakfast and complimentary tour of Nazareth. The common kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee and pastry was a great bonus too.

It's a hostel, so be prepared for a hostel stay. What is that like, loud, tired facilities that are a little less than you would expect from a hotel. Communal spaces. We took a private room but after staying in one of the best b&bs ever, this was a little let down. It is a good place for adventurous travelers...

The place is an old Ottoman family house converted into hotel/hostel. A very cozy and grand lounge with a fascinating history behind it! The rooms are clean and big. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast choices too.
