The hotel is a small family owned gem, with one of the friendliest hosting experiences we had.
We arrived on a short notice, and received a warm welcome with small but cozy rooms and a very friendly staff.
The hotel is located a couple of minutes (walking) from Nahariya's beach, and during the season the hotel guests also enjoy free admission to a close by pool and gym.

I am an American who recently spent five days in Nahariya for work. During this time, I stayed at the Starkman Erna Hotel. I was very impressed by the staff and the accommodations. The staff were extremely friendly, considerate, helpful and kind. The hotel room was elegant, clean and extremely comfortable. The hotel provided housekeeping every day which was a luxury that I haven’t experienced recently due to COVID (at least not in the United States?). Also, the hotel has additional services for an added fee including laundry services. Since I was visiting for many days, this was a huge bonus! The whole experience of staying at the Starkman Erna hotel made me feel like I was “home”, and I mean that in the best possible way. I felt taken care of, and - especially in a foreign country- that meant so much. Stay here, you’ll love it!

This is a great boutique hotel. Excellent location. Nice rooms. Not a very large but comfortable. Not a very large bed but comfortable . Very clean. A kettle in the room and an empty mini bar. Great breakfast, all fresh with big variety. And on Fridays at 17:00 we were invited for a German apple strudel with cream, coffee, wine, lemonade, cookies... a big wow!
Lovely staff. Helpfull, and really nice.
Recommended highly.

From the minute you enter the hotel you realize you are in for a treat. The welcome was friendly and professional and our suite was beautifully appointed. There is a quirky / arty feel with some wonderful artworks throughout.
The breakfast was buffet style and on offer was everything from salads to pastries, shakshuka to a cheese board.

I picked this hotel without knowing what to expect. And we found a gem. Small and quiet, tastefully decorated, very clean, great service. The room and bed were very comfortable with air conditioning. The bathroom had a comfortable sized shower and was very clean. Our stay included a very nice breakfast spread - traditional Israeli style with salads, breads, variety of cheese, omelettes, pastries and more. There is a pretty garden where guests are welcome to sit any time either for dining or just to relax. There’s a jacuzzi and sauna as well as massage treatments. Guests were invited on Friday afternoon for wine and strudel. We were less than 3 blocks from the beach and promenade and the Main Street where there was a large selection of restaurants and bars. We plan to come back to this hotel and will be recommending to our friends.

A small and special family boutique hotel. European design, classic quiet and modest.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
A small and quiet garden with a beautiful and pleasant design.
A wonderful breakfast and there is also coffee, strudel, wine and treats at 5 pm (not on Shabbat).
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the sea and there is an option to enter the pool which we did not take advantage of.
The same also applies to the methods that the hotel makes available to its guests
