Im guiding a group in jericho .. spending one night at the oases jericho hotel .. hotel is nice and rooms are very clean .. they put us in 1st floor .. food needs to be upgraded .. not much choices for dinner or breakfast . But its low season .. might be the reason since there is only 2 groups in the hotel.
This is a amazing hotel on the outskirts of Jericho this was towards the end of our walk on the Masar Ibrahim trail. we had walked into Jericho with it's wonderful Palm trees from the desert having slept under the stars in a Bedouin encampment in the desert. The hotel was a little way outside the middle of the city and we were bused there. We were greeted by hugh palms and a very plush interior in which we luxuriated while waiting to be allocated our rooms. After a quick shower and brush up down to the magnificent collection of pools and into the jacuzzi. Then a wonderful poolside buffet before retiring to our very luxurious accommodation after our camp in the desert. Wonderful buffet breakfast before setting out to walk the most beautiful part of our walk. the Wadi kelt the road from Jericho to Bethlehem made so famous by the journey of Mary and Joseph.…
A very impressive looking hotel and pool complex but we stayed in December when it was not warm enough to use these facilities. Food was ok but very little choice and hot food served look warm. Rooms were large, but quite basic.
This hotel had the appearance of a 5 star hotel, with the reception and bar areas being extremly luxurious. The rooms were comfortable and large and clean although in need of refurbishing. The one this that left this hotel down was the food, with very little choice on the buffet.
