Detailed Reviews
The place doesn’t feel like a hotel - more like a resort come summer camp. While we were there it was stormy and you needed an umbrella to get from the lobby building (where foods was) to the hotel room. The room itself was clean and tidy. No complaints about the room itself. Due to the storms we didn’t get to use as many facilities as the hotel offered, but we did see a games pavilion with table tennis etc to keep people busy. They also have a mini library inside the main building in case you want to sit with a book (plenty in English).
Our room deal included breakfast and dinner which were both buffet style with lots of options so you don’t go hungry. Breakfast includes coffee or juice. At night dinner includes coffee or water - juice or soft drink was extra.
The hotel isn’t close to the city centre so you need to get a taxi to Tiberius. We asked the hotel staff to call a taxi for us. They suggested that it was a flat fee of 60 Israeli sheckles either way (about $17usd).

We stopped in here for lunch during a tour of Galilee and had a wonderful meal! The restaurant is located in the main hotel building. As a bonus, the hotel offers some high end shopping on the main floor just a few steps away from the restaurant. The food was served buffet style and highlighted many of the culinary specialties of the region. I must say the diversity and quality was FAR beyond my expectations of most buffets. The food was simply OUTSTANDING! Note that if you want a soft drink or wine, those beverages are sold separately from a beverage cart.

This was our third visit to Nof Ginossar Hotel and it was the best. Both the private and public spaces have been overhauled with great success. Our room, though small and located in a building without an elevator was good. The designers did an excellent job including every necessity in such a small space. The shower was excellent as were the toiletry amenities. It would have been helpful to have more than one bath towel per person for those who shower after an afternoon swim and again in the morning. The spacious indoor spaces were attractively redone and pleasant to hang out in. The grounds are lovely, large and well kept.
We were there at the height of the season and it was full to capacity and though there were people everywhere, it was never uncomfortably crowded, except at the pool, which is rather small for such a large hotel.
The redone dining room is attractive, breakfast was excellent and there were at least three self serve coffee stations so there was never a line.
The beach is pleasant with a shaded area for those who want it.
I'm already looking forward to a fourth visit.
Another note, the management seems to encourage mask wearing in indoor spaces and most people were compliant....definitely a plus!

+1
So my reviews are always taking into account the price so I can help estimate the value. So for slightly less than $600 .a night we received a small room for 5 (see photo) half board.
The positive:
Great location on the kinneret
Nice green lawns
Huge variety.at breakfast and dinmer
Includes parking
Water coolers
Hot water
The negative:
Rundown hotel, building and rooms are poorly maintained and urgently need paint and polish
Small room for 5 people
Small swimmimg.pool
The restaurant staff seem poorly trained (twice dropped.food on us when clearing the dishes)
Very small tv

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Since I was the tour leader, there was a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates in my room. The bed was VERY comfortable and roomy, though sparsely decorated. They had complimentary toiletries, which came in handy. I never turned on the TV, so I cannot tell you about that.
Important note: the hotel rooms are set up in a compound style, not one high rise. You must walk outside to get to/from the front desk/dining room/shop facilities. You will need an umbrella if it's raining to haul in your luggage.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are quite an impressive spread - some foods I had never even seen before! Special dessert and coffee/tea stations helped the dining room traffic flow. The sunrises and sunsets from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the main dining room are extraordinary! All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel to experience how a kibbutz operates. I remember the welcome very well with a free drinks and cookies and a wonderful donut wall, huge donuts they are, at least for me:)
Rooms are clean and spacious and allow you to walk and get your steps for the day to get to the restaurants.
Mealtimes are very busy with a plentiful buffet spread. Staff are attentive and able to respond quickly eg replenish buffet, serve orders for drinks and just to make sure everything is in order.
It is also very convenient that the boat to the Sea of Galilee is just steps away from the hotel.

Myself and a group of 40 other college students stayed at this hotel for three nights. The food was outstanding, as there was a wide selection for vegetarians and for meat-lovers. In addition, the hotel is located right along the water. We went out in the morning on the docks and watched the sunrise! Rooms were a nice size and clean. The only negative was that the wifi was spotty, but this may have been due to the number of users (the hotel was full of other college groups on trips). Still, one of the nicest places we stayed on our trip, and a great place to stay for those exploring the north of Israel and the Golan Heights region.

Nicely situated on the edge of the Sea of Galilee with about a 150m walk to the water along a boardwalk. Our room was on the third floor and was accessible by the two lifts. It consisted of two single beds pushed together to make the double, but made up separately as singles. A small couch, tea and coffee making facilities and TV was also part of the room. The bathroom was quite small but had all we needed. Toiletries were supplied and hairdryer too. Air conditioner worked well and the wifi at most times was ok. A balcony was through the sliding door. We didnt look out to much but those on the opposite side of the passage wouldve overlooked the lake and had beautiful sunrise views. Meals were excellent and you'd have no excuse if you went hungry. Lots to choose from at both dinner and breakfasts. Very clean and tidy motel rooms.

We just had a wonderful stay at Nof Ginnosar over Pesach. The hotel was totally full, but that did not negatively impact the impeccable facilities and service we received in the slightest. The staff were so polite, efficient and helpful (a special thank you to the dining room manager Nihad) and the food was fresh, plentiful and tasty. The grounds are beautiful, spacious and well-kept, and being right next to the Kinneret is really lovely. It's a great base for exploring the North of Israel.

Travelled there as a family of 6 and stayed for 2 nights. We went there in the peak of summer and it was very busy. Rooms were small. A lot of stains on the furnitures and curtains. The hotel provided in the room with danish biscuits, but noted the tin box was sticky, open and reused. Same story with my mother in law and sister in laws. Very unhygienic.
Breakfast was served at the restaurant. It was extremely busy (after 09:00) come before 08:30 if you want a calmer environment. The food was just ok, it was quantity instead of quality.
The pool was very small. Nearby beach was not nice, very small and dirty.
The hotel area was big so didn’t feel cramped. Can find your own corner. They allow BBQs so we BYO BBQ and enjoyed dinner outdoor.

I never use one, so I don't know
We traveled on our own and had a very nice room. I would email the kibbutz and ask. Our email was answered promptly.
Heidi I asked a question Jan 2019
Grass Valley, California, United States44 contributions23 helpful votesDo they have self serve laundry?
They don't have self-serve laundry. However, they provide plastic bags and a check-sheet that you can fill out in the room. The bag will be picked up and returned with the clothing inside laundered according to what was filled in the check-sheet.
